We are conveniently located less than 2 miles from the beach, just South of Solana Beach and a short 30 minutes to the heart of downtown San Diego. Whether you are looking for an outdoor ceremony and reception dressed in casual chic, or a classic and elegant affair in one of our two beautifully-appointed ballrooms, you can choose the venue that best reflects your personal taste and style.

Our Grand Ballroom features 16-foot ceilings, magnificent chandeliers and a sophisticated space for up to 420 guests providing a blank canvas on which to make your vision come alive. For more intimate events, the Rancho Santa Fe Ballroom is the perfect space for up to 100 of your closest friends and family to share in the love and happiness of your special day.

Having our reception at The Marriott Del Mar was the easiest and best decision ever. Along with the beauty of the ballroom and foyer area, the staff is incredible. From our first meeting with Sales Manager (Rita) to our final communication with our Event Planner (Christine), we were truly taken care of. Rita put together an amazing package for us that included all that we desired within our budgetary goal. Christine worked with us throughout the planning process and delivered on everything that we envisioned. Our wedding was beautifully orchestrated because of Christine's assistance. If you are looking for great customer service and timely responsiveness, look no further. The food was excellent (filet mignon, Seabass and sliders for late night snacks). The Marriott Del Mar is a beautiful hotel / wedding venue and the staff go above and beyond in planning for your special day. Thank you Marriott Del Mar for such a memorable experience...
