We got married on 6/9/23 and Sage Catering was one of the recommended caterers at our venue, Cairnwood Estate. Since Cairnwood doesn't have any in-house coordination, we really relied on Sage to be that special guide throughout our wedding planning process. Courtney was our coordinator, and she was just spectacular! I want to rave about so many things I don't know where to start! I think the most important thing to say is that we got SO many compliments on our food! We had our tasting and the food was fabulous, so we were really excited about that - but its not uncommon for the tasting to be great and the food on the actual day to fall flat. We did NOT have that experience, the food was 10/10! Cortney was present at the tasting and was able to give us insight on some ways to customize our menu, for example, we could choose as many passed hors d'oeuvre as we'd like, the total quantity would just stay the same! The month before our wedding, we were able to do our planning meeting in person at Cairnwood, so we could walk through the estate and decide which layout fit best for us! Also, Cortney and the Sage team were super accommodating for any unique requests we had, for example, our signature cocktail had lavender in it and Sage was able to source edible sprigs to garnish the drinks with. Another was that we wanted a champagne tower and Cortney was able to go off of an inspiration picture I had and set it all up! I felt super cared for the whole day and it was lovely to just be able to relax and enjoy the experience! I seriously think we got our full money's worth by hiring Sage Catering.

Sage spoils you with abundant and delicious food, which is their main job. Everything — and I mean E V E R Y T H I N G — was incredible. Guests are *still* talking about the entrees. Who goes to a wedding and actually enjoys the food?! Your guests do when Sage caters your wedding.

Beyond the main thing though, he staff at Sage are total pros. Dana worked tirelessly to meet all of our requests and truly exceeded expectations. Token salad? Hard pass! We wanted a pasta dish instead. Dana’s response: no problem. We wanted extra cake and desserts from two different vendors and family cookies. Dana rolled with all our wishes. Unexpected hiccup day of? Dana delayed service but the food didn’t suffer. I wish everyone planning a wedding had Dana in their corner, she is truly unmatched. Dana’s right hand woman Stephanie is truly invaluable to your day too. Both brought a calm and collected mood that permeated the event because they have done this a million times and are both consummate professionals. Book Sage, you won’t regret it.

We can't say enough amazing things about this caterer - and our coordinator Susie - for our wedding day. From the beginning they were incredibly organized, kind, creative, and so fun to work with! Susie helped us to pick out everything from all aspects of our menu, to the chairs, linens, utensils, bar menu, etc. It made choosing a venue that was not 'all inclusive' in this way so much less overwhelming to have Sage as our main POC with planning the bulk of things. I never felt like I wasn't in good hands. And let me tell you - THE FOOD. The compliments we got on our wedding day never ended. And we weren't at all surprised, even our tasting prior to the wedding knocked our socks off. If I had to do it again, this would be the top MUST vendor on my list to make wedding planning easy, and execution flawless. Even outside of a wedding, I know Sage would be capable of handling any event beautifully. Thank you AND SUSIE so so so much! We recently hired Sage Catering for our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience! From the very beginning, Cortney was incredibly professional, attentive, and responsive to all our requests.
The food was absolutely delicious! Every guest raved about how amazing everything was. Living on Long Island New York food is expected to be over the top at weddings and Sage far surpassed all the guests expectations. The crab cakes were amazing, lobster roll was delicious, pizza and pasta station was incredible, tacos were full of flavor, but I think the most raved about dish was the short ribs!
Cortney went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Not only is she super friendly but she made the day completely seamless. Leading up to the day she worked with us to make our vision come true. She helped us create our own personal wedding menu including things that weren’t even on the list of items. I would recommend Cortney 100%!

We booked Sage for our 6/7 wedding at Appleford. It was one of the best decisions we made!!!! From the beginning, Cortney could not have been any better to work with. We had an incredible tasting and she answered all of the questions I had leading up to wedding day. In addition to the food being phenomenal, I loved having a built in day of coordinator/planner. If you're contemplating which catering company to go with for your wedding, there is no question that SAGE is the answer! Susie was such a rockstar and our vendor MVP. She always promptly responded to my million emails, was super organized, professional and incredibly friendly. Our tasting was one of our wedding planning highlights - it was so much fun and the food was delicious! Weddings aren't typically known for having the best food, but Sage is the exception! All of our appetizers and main courses were SO good and our family and friend are still raving about them. Not to mention, the presentation of them was top notch. We really can't say enough wonderful things about our experience with Sage and Susie from our initial email to the wedding night. Everything went perfectly + without a hitch on our wedding day and we have Susie and the Sage crew to thank for that!

Sage has reasonable prices for 5 star food and everyone from our 200 person wedding couldn't stop talking about the delicious appetizers, entrees, and late night snacks! We got married at BOK on 10/20/23. Choosing to work with Sage was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We knew their team had done many other weddings at BOK so we were excited to have them for our big day. We primarily worked with Dana and she was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process and easy to communicate with. She helped provide guidance when it came to not only menu choices but some key design choices (linens, rentals, etc). On the day of our wedding we were just blown away to see everything come together through Dana's leadership. The tables were so dreamy, the food was incredible, and the drinks were delicious. We are still getting compliments about how fabulous the food was that day. The apps at cocktail hour were on point – they offer such a wide variety of choices. For the reception menu, we decided to go with a family style and it was just perfect! Lastly, the extended team at Sage who helped on our big day was amazing (chefs, bartenders, servers, etc)! They were all so kind and are true professionals who will make sure your day goes as smoothly as possible.
