Caterers? Event Planners? More like Magicians!
My review for SAGE Catering begins like so many others, “Due to the coronavirus our original wedding date and venue were cancelled…”. When I had to scramble, I stumbled on SAGE not realizing that they were more than a catering business, but are actually event planners, too. My daughter’s big destination wedding in California was scaled back to an intimate ceremony and dinner in our suburban Main Line home and SAGE made it appear effortless and flawless. I’d never hosted a wedding before and Dana Twaddell provided the needed amount of direction, handling all the party rental ordering and delivery, giving decorating suggestions, even providing outdoor heat lamps. As for food, they swooped into the kitchen and produced one unbelievable dish after another. I heard so many compliments that night, from the hors d’ oeuvres to the salmon to the filet to the salads. Everything was fresh and delicious, especially the late night snack of guacamole and homemade chips. The wait staff were efficient, almost invisible, and kind — the bride felt special, but so did my niece when they specifically sought her out to make sure that her meal was dairy-free. :-) And Dana. Dana! As an event planner, she is the epitome of grace and calm. When she asked me about the champagne and I realized that I had forgotten to buy it, she didn’t even blink an eye. “No problem. We’ll just clear those flutes from the table.” :-)Sent on 01/05/2021
I could go on, about how clean they left the kitchen and how they even played parking valets, shuffling cars in our driveway without being asked, but I’ll stop. Suffice it to say, that, in the end, I actually came to believe that they’re not really caterers, but are really more like magicians, creating a magical night we'll all remember.

We had our tasting at Sage last weekend and we absolutely cannot wait for our wedding in 2020! Trisha dealt with our inquires in an extremely professional way and has been very responsive since day 1! The chef sat down with us the entire time and was throwing out ideas for our wedding since we are supplying the proteins as we own a pig farm. You can tell how passionate he is about food and supplying a premium product. We are looking forward to everything they have in store for us and were pleased to hear their willingness to work with our farm to table menu! There was not one single thing we tasted that we did not like! Kudos Sage Catering!!Sent on 04/23/2019

Sage was the best choice we could have made for our wedding!
We did our wedding for 100 people through Sage Catering, and it was an amazing experience. The entire staff were extremely dedicated to us and our guests having a wonderful day!Sent on 06/10/2021
The food: The food was extremely delicious and creative. The tasting was great, and everything at the wedding day was just like our tasting day (extremely consistent!) Everything, from the passed and stationary appetizers, to the salad and entrees, to the desserts, was delicious and extremely well presented!
The staff: The staff were all super friendly to all guests, and made sure everything went well for us. It was a delight working with everyone!
The planning: The planning was a breeze. We coordinated everything through Cortney, and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. She made our day so easy (planning for a year + day of execution!) and had everything exactly how we wanted - she was focused on us having a wonderful day. It was super easy to work with her, she was very communicative and responsive, and made our day that much easier and better. Down to the napkins, table covers, runners, plates and silverware, every detail was exactly how we wanted (even our table chart and menu layouts!), and the execution was extremely smooth!
The Sage team keeps delivering quality and service every year, and that is what its all about in the hospitality world. When you have a history as long as Sage does, its not by accident. 5 stars all the way!
Sage has been to our Farm a couple of times to host Weddings this past year. We were truly blown away by their staff and their amazing food. They truly went above and beyond for our couples. We hope to have them back again soon!
I love Sage Catering. Just did another amazing wedding with them this past Sunday at Cairnwood with Ed. He is fantastic, organized, on time, and personable. As a wedding planner, I trust them 110% and their food is incredible. True professionals! Rachael Lassoff Dream Day Events
