John Serock Catering

I am a professional event producer that travels the country to put on events from corporate conferences to special dinners and even large festivals. I've worked with hundreds of vendors and simply put, working with Steven and the John Serock Catering experience is one of the best experiences I've ever had.

Since they are a caterer, let's start with the food. Delicious with lots of great options. Whether you are looking for passed hors d'oeuvres, buffet, or plated meal, they've got you covered. The best part is that they will work with the dietary needs of your guests to make sure everyone is taken care of. They are also receptive to feedback and will work with you to ensure a great experience. I was really amazed at the variety of offerings but also the execution to deliver great food.

The onsite team is stellar. From the setup to the bar staff and servers, this whole team runs efficiently, professionally, and a lot of credit goes to Steven who makes the whole process smooth and great for all. My guests loved interacting with all the staff and as the organizer, I felt way taken care of by all of them. As for the venue, they also take great respect during the load in and load out process which makes them a favorite of venues as well.

Overall, I cannot recommend John Serock Catering enough for your next event whether it's a wedding, party, corporate dinner, etc... If they weren't based out in Pennsylvania I would no joke, hire them for all of my events if I could. I look forward to working with them if possible.

We strongly recommend using serock as your wedding caterer! The whole wedding planning process was incredible! We had a couple specific requests when it came to food ordered and they were extremely flexible in helping us find what we wanted. I will talk about the service first! It was completely seamless- the amount of staff they provided for the day was a great amount and kept things moving great. The head man on sight during our day literally came and checked to make sure everything was up to par during the night and that we were having fun which was incredibly thoughtful. The whole tasting was extremely well organized and really gave us a ton of comfort that we had picked a wonderful vendor. Now I will speak about the food. Truly incredible!!!!! The portion sizes were great and the food on wedding day tasted just as good as the tasting! I strongly strongly recommend booking them as your food caterer for all your event needs! Everyone we got to work with was extremely personable and always a joy! BOOK THEM! (:

We had such a wonderful experience with Serock Catering for our wedding! Rachael was amazing to work with throughout the planning process and made everything so easy, always answering all of my questions and making sure every detail was taken care of. She truly went above and beyond, and I’m so grateful for all of her help throughout the process! Stephen was our day-of event manager and did a fantastic job making sure everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious, and everything exceeded our expectations. We are so grateful to the entire team for helping make our wedding day so special. We recently held our wedding at the Merion Tribute House. Sarah R. was our Serock coordinator and she was absolutely the best - so pleasant and professional to work with, answering all of our (many) questions and requests. On top of that, every single thing Serock served was outstanding - from cocktail hour (do yourself a favor and get the grilled cheese/tomato bisque shooters) to dinner (the eggplant parmesan, herb chicken and the filet were amazing) to dessert (people are still talking about the chocolate chip bread pudding). All the staff were wonderful - worked hard, pleasant, helped with everything they could possibly think of (including loading our car which they didn't have to do).
We honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend using Serock for your event!

We would highly recommend Serock Catering for any special event! They did a truly fabulous job catering our wedding day at the Barn at Silverstone. The members of the staff were all so professional and friendly, and they obviously have great experience in making an event run smoothly and efficiently. Both our coordinator and day-of coordinator were fantastic; they went above and beyond to take care of every little detail without us as the wedding couple having to lift a finger. The food is also fabulous; we and our family and friends agree that it was the best wedding food that we’ve ever had! We are so grateful to Serock for helping to make our special day so wonderful!

Sarah was so easy to work with and every person that was there the night of the wedding was incredibly warm and easy! Did I mention the food was fantastic and plentiful! Thank you for making this older couple's dreams come true!

Serock was amazing from start to finish with communication from the very beginning to the tasting and then the actual wedding day. It was amazing how personal they were with our guests and made everyone comfortable and heard along with amazing reviews from our guests saying it was the best food they’ve had at a wedding. The food options along with one on one attention for the bride and groom was so helpful and appreciated. They consistently checked in on us to make sure we had the best time while still enjoying our food and drinks! Even checking in on us mid dance floor battles to see if we needed a drink! My husband and I couldn’t decide on entree and decided to split it and Serock was awesome making sure we were able to do that. Our signature drinks were a true hit and that was a huge shoutout to the Serock staff! The communication and attention to detail throughout the night was above and beyond our expectations making everything go smoothly. We can’t thank Serock enough for every single person making it a special night for us and our guests!

We recently used Serock Catering for a fundraising banquet, and were incredibly impressed. The food was incredible, but the service is what made me want to recommend them to anyone. They went above and beyond.

Crystal is absolutely amazing. She is so quick to respond to any questions I had throughout the process. She helped me with ideas and thoughts I had throughout my planning process. Her team was great the night of my wedding. They were so helpful and their service was outstanding. The food was incredible. I had guests coming up to me throughout the night telling me how delicious the food was. It is so nice to hear that on your wedding day! I am so happy I chose John Serock for my wedding!

They worked with all our ideas and everything was just wonderful. My guests just raved about their food and their service.
