I am a professional event producer that travels the country to put on events from corporate conferences to special dinners and even large festivals. I've worked with hundreds of vendors and simply put, working with Steven and the John Serock Catering experience is one of the best experiences I've ever had.

Since they are a caterer, let's start with the food. Delicious with lots of great options. Whether you are looking for passed hors d'oeuvres, buffet, or plated meal, they've got you covered. The best part is that they will work with the dietary needs of your guests to make sure everyone is taken care of. They are also receptive to feedback and will work with you to ensure a great experience. I was really amazed at the variety of offerings but also the execution to deliver great food.

The onsite team is stellar. From the setup to the bar staff and servers, this whole team runs efficiently, professionally, and a lot of credit goes to Steven who makes the whole process smooth and great for all. My guests loved interacting with all the staff and as the organizer, I felt way taken care of by all of them. As for the venue, they also take great respect during the load in and load out process which makes them a favorite of venues as well.

Overall, I cannot recommend John Serock Catering enough for your next event whether it's a wedding, party, corporate dinner, etc... If they weren't based out in Pennsylvania I would no joke, hire them for all of my events if I could. I look forward to working with them if possible.

Everything was just perfect. I had no stress having John Serock Catering. They stayed in touch with me throughout the whole process. They were so accommodating. The tasting was phenomenal. They worked with all our ideas and everything was just wonderful. My guests just raved about their food and their service.

Crystal worked with my family to create a menu that was safe for our kids with multiple food allergies. My son wanted a party where he could eat everything, with over 10 food allergies, that is a challenge...and Serock delivered! My son's Bar Mitzvah was amazing, the food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. We have received so many compliments on the food. The Serock staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure that everyone had what they needed. We even found a few new favorite items and local vendors as a result of working with Serock. We will definitely be using them again for any parties in the future.

John Serock Catering was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Anna and I are endlessly grateful for how thoughtful, creative, and attentive their entire team was throughout the process. They went above and beyond in every way — from customizing our menu with adventurous, mind-blowing dishes to bringing a Magic Bullet so my dad could enjoy pureed short rib, and even incorporating our college’s ice cream into their dessert service. Every detail was executed perfectly. Our guests are still raving about the food more than a month later.

One of the biggest surprises of the day was that we actually got to sit and enjoy our dinner. We’ve heard so many couples say they barely get to eat at their own wedding, but we were able to savor a calm, meaningful moment together, sharing the lasagna and short rib and loving every bite.

We also want to give the biggest shoutout to Maryann. From the moment the ceremony ended, she was by our sides, making sure we always had food and drinks and that our families were comfortable during portraits. She made us feel like royalty, and her care elevated the experience beyond what we imagined.

We knew Serock was the right choice the moment we tasted their food at the open house, and our wedding day absolutely confirmed it. Exceptional food, exceptional service, exceptional people. Thank you for everything.

My wife and I got married at the Merion Tribute House in Philadelphia, PA in Fall of 2025. John Serock Catering is the exclusive caterer for this venue. Our wedding was the best moment of our lives and we are grateful, thankful, and blessed for Serock team's assistance. First, the budget was very reasonable for the location within Philadelphia and the food quality. The food quality was really good and we got the Buffet option, which meant we got both quality and quantity for food. Serock packed any leftover food for us to consume after our wedding. We got the flexibility to purchase our own alcohol. This saved us tons of money. The catering package included the cake and all non alcoholic drinks and mixes. This saved us lots of money as well. Second, Sarah and her team was very pleasant and responsive to work with. From open house of the venue, to menu tasting, to final meetings, to wedding rehearsal, to the actual wedding day, we got most if not all of our needs met on a timely basis. Sarah's team also was very kind to serve my wife and I food during reception, even though it was a buffet. This saved us time and we actually got to eat dinner. Overall, it was a great experience working with Serock and I recommend everyone to contact their team for your future events. Thank you Serock team again.

We were thrilled with the level of service we received from John Serock Catering, specifically Sarah. She was so easy to communicate with through the whole process, was flexible, and answered any questions we had happily. Day of, Sarah was such a big help in getting everything set up and running smoothly. Food and drinks were fantastic and we received a lot of compliments.

I can't thank John and his team enough especially Sarah. Our wedding day was perfect in every way! Sarah went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. She was very responsive and answered all of our questions. She was a pleasure to work with. On the day of our wedding Kaitlyn was awsome she made sure I had a drink in my hand at all times. All of our guess could not stop taking about how good the food was. From the food to the staff John Serock Catering is exceptional. Can not recommend them enough!

Steven Huey was the best event coordinator ever. He took care of so much. And the food at Serock was out of this world amazing! I got so many compliments on the appetizers and meals. Highly recommend the seafood bar during cocktail hour. Highly recommend the beef short rib. Also I understand from the guests that the bartenders were generous with the alcohol, lol. There were some strong drinks!

John Serock Catering did such a magnificent job coordinating our wedding reception. Our coordinator, Sarah, was so helpful throughout the entire process. She was very responsive and knowledgeable when it came to answering questions that we had, and she made us feel like a priority. The food was delicious, and all of the venue staff were so attentive and friendly. We also loved how much was included in our package; we had both a cake and an ice cream bar, which was a huge hit with guests! Thank you so much, John Serock Catering! You did a phenomenal job at making our wedding day so special.

I cannot even begin to describe our experience with John Serock Catering. All I can say is it was superb. From our initial meeting to the tastings to the correspondence in between, we were blown away. We had a relatively large wedding with 250 people and this did NOT compromise quality or flavor one bit. Everyone had their food within 15 minutes and people could not stop raving about how delicious everything was! We owe all of our thanks and gratitude to Rachael. She was the absolute best and I wish everyone got the chance to work with her!!!! She made the process easy, smooth, and honestly enjoyable. We asked for multiple tastings to get a specific dish right and she helped to arrange them with no trouble at all. Her response times to emails was exceptional. I cannot rave enough about John Serock Catering and wish we could get married every year to use their services again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
