I am a professional event producer that travels the country to put on events from corporate conferences to special dinners and even large festivals. I've worked with hundreds of vendors and simply put, working with Steven and the John Serock Catering experience is one of the best experiences I've ever had.
Since they are a caterer, let's start with the food. Delicious with lots of great options. Whether you are looking for passed hors d'oeuvres, buffet, or plated meal, they've got you covered. The best part is that they will work with the dietary needs of your guests to make sure everyone is taken care of. They are also receptive to feedback and will work with you to ensure a great experience. I was really amazed at the variety of offerings but also the execution to deliver great food.
The onsite team is stellar. From the setup to the bar staff and servers, this whole team runs efficiently, professionally, and a lot of credit goes to Steven who makes the whole process smooth and great for all. My guests loved interacting with all the staff and as the organizer, I felt way taken care of by all of them. As for the venue, they also take great respect during the load in and load out process which makes them a favorite of venues as well.
Overall, I cannot recommend John Serock Catering enough for your next event whether it's a wedding, party, corporate dinner, etc... If they weren't based out in Pennsylvania I would no joke, hire them for all of my events if I could. I look forward to working with them if possible.John Serock Catering's reply:

Crystal is absolutely amazing. She is so quick to respond to any questions I had throughout the process. She helped me with ideas and thoughts I had throughout my planning process. Her team was great the night of my wedding. They were so helpful and their service was outstanding. The food was incredible. I had guests coming up to me throughout the night telling me how delicious the food was. It is so nice to hear that on your wedding day! I am so happy I chose John Serock for my wedding! -

Crystal worked with my family to create a menu that was safe for our kids with multiple food allergies. My son wanted a party where he could eat everything, with over 10 food allergies, that is a challenge...and Serock delivered! My son's Bar Mitzvah was amazing, the food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. We have received so many compliments on the food. The Serock staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure that everyone had what they needed. We even found a few new favorite items and local vendors as a result of working with Serock. We will definitely be using them again for any parties in the future. -

John Serock Catering was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Anna and I are endlessly grateful for how thoughtful, creative, and attentive their entire team was throughout the process. They went above and beyond in every way — from customizing our menu with adventurous, mind-blowing dishes to bringing a Magic Bullet so my dad could enjoy pureed short rib, and even incorporating our college’s ice cream into their dessert service. Every detail was executed perfectly. Our guests are still raving about the food more than a month later.
One of the biggest surprises of the day was that we actually got to sit and enjoy our dinner. We’ve heard so many couples say they barely get to eat at their own wedding, but we were able to savor a calm, meaningful moment together, sharing the lasagna and short rib and loving every bite.
We also want to give the biggest shoutout to Maryann. From the moment the ceremony ended, she was by our sides, making sure we always had food and drinks and that our families were comfortable during portraits. She made us feel like royalty, and her care elevated the experience beyond what we imagined.
We knew Serock was the right choice the moment we tasted their food at the open house, and our wedding day absolutely confirmed it. Exceptional food, exceptional service, exceptional people. Thank you for everything. -

My wife and I got married at the Merion Tribute House in Philadelphia, PA in Fall of 2025. John Serock Catering is the exclusive caterer for this venue. Our wedding was the best moment of our lives and we are grateful, thankful, and blessed for Serock team's assistance. First, the budget was very reasonable for the location within Philadelphia and the food quality. The food quality was really good and we got the Buffet option, which meant we got both quality and quantity for food. Serock packed any leftover food for us to consume after our wedding. We got the flexibility to purchase our own alcohol. This saved us tons of money. The catering package included the cake and all non alcoholic drinks and mixes. This saved us lots of money as well. Second, Sarah and her team was very pleasant and responsive to work with. From open house of the venue, to menu tasting, to final meetings, to wedding rehearsal, to the actual wedding day, we got most if not all of our needs met on a timely basis. Sarah's team also was very kind to serve my wife and I food during reception, even though it was a buffet. This saved us time and we actually got to eat dinner. Overall, it was a great experience working with Serock and I recommend everyone to contact their team for your future events. Thank you Serock team again. -

Steven Huey was the best event coordinator ever. He took care of so much. And the food at Serock was out of this world amazing! I got so many compliments on the appetizers and meals. Highly recommend the seafood bar during cocktail hour. Highly recommend the beef short rib. Also I understand from the guests that the bartenders were generous with the alcohol, lol. There were some strong drinks! -

I cannot even begin to describe our experience with John Serock Catering. All I can say is it was superb. From our initial meeting to the tastings to the correspondence in between, we were blown away. We had a relatively large wedding with 250 people and this did NOT compromise quality or flavor one bit. Everyone had their food within 15 minutes and people could not stop raving about how delicious everything was! We owe all of our thanks and gratitude to Rachael. She was the absolute best and I wish everyone got the chance to work with her!!!! She made the process easy, smooth, and honestly enjoyable. We asked for multiple tastings to get a specific dish right and she helped to arrange them with no trouble at all. Her response times to emails was exceptional. I cannot rave enough about John Serock Catering and wish we could get married every year to use their services again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! -

Saved the day after venue fire!
When our original wedding venue burned down four months before our wedding in May 2025, we were scrambling to find a replacement caterer. It felt like we couldn't find a group who was affordable, detail oriented, friendly, and most importantly, have great food! After a tasting and first meeting with John Serock's group, we felt that we were putting our wedding in the best hands. Crystal, our coordinator, was incredibly professional, prompt, and fun to work with. She took so much stress off our shoulders. We ended up having our wedding reception at a family friend's home. Dinner and dancing were under a tent outside. The weather was a bit chiller than we were hoping for, but the food still came to our tables piping hot. All of our guests said the food was the best they've had at a wedding. They couldn't believe Serock's group had never worked at this "venue" before because of how smooth everything went. I never thought I would say that our wedding venue burning down was the best thing to happen to us... but after the wedding day that we had thanks to Crystal and her team, I can say this was the way it should've been from the start. I cannot recommend them enough. -

We used Serock for our wedding and WOW... what an incredible experience! Kristy, our Event Specialist, was so professional and responsive and made the tasting/selection process easy and fun. I swear the food tasted even better the day of, which goes to show their expertise! Sarah, our Event Manager, was also a dream to work with! She and her staff were so attentive and had a seamless flow for our multiple courses and kept the good vibes going at the bar. Special shout out to our bridal attendant who greeted us with a big smile and had our specialty cocktails and apps ready to go right after the ceremony! She made sure we had a chance to eat and enjoy our meal together before saying our hellos to guests & hitting the dancefloor. Our guests raved about the spread we selected for our passed apps and are still talking about the quality of the steak and the chicken dishes we selected. Oh and the late night cheesesteaks were arguably the biggest hit of the night! Truly 5 star experience all the way around - their service, food quality, and selections are top notch! -

HIGHLY recommend John Serock Catering if you not only want delicious food but also for your wedding or event to run smoothly!
When I was in college I worked for John Serock Catering and after day one I knew I would be using Serock for my wedding (I didn't get married for another 8 years later and held true to my word). Not only is the food absolutely amazing, but the service you receive from John and the entire event team is unbeatable. Steven was our coordinator and he was extremely personable, answered all of our questions, and even helped come up with a back up plan for the potential of rain. Planning is clear-cut and they help ease the nerve of making difficult decisions by holding your hand along the way. All bias I have aside, I continue to get compliments about the food and staff months after my wedding. I truly could not imagine how our day could have turned out if we did not go with the Serock team. I highly recommend John Serock Catering for the delicious food, attentive servers, the support from your coordinator, and the ease of knowing the Serock team will do everything in their power to help your day run as smoothly as possible. -

I was absolutely blown away by the food from John Serock Catering at our wedding—from cocktail hour to the main meal and dessert, everything was exceptional. Typically, wedding food is just “okay,” and I tend to give caterers grace since they’re producing such large quantities, but that was not the case with John Serock. Many of our guests raved about how delicious everything was and were genuinely impressed by the quality.
For dessert, we opted for mini pies, and they were super accommodating, even creating a custom blueberry-peach combo for us, which turned out amazing. After our tasting, when we tried the bread pudding served over cinnamon ice cream, we knew it had to be on our dessert menu! They happily added it for us, and it didn’t cost an arm and a leg. We also included an end-of-the-night snack—a tater tot bar—which was a huge hit with our guests. No one left hungry!
My main contact was Kristy, who was amazing throughout the entire process. She answered my many questions quickly and was incredibly helpful. The tasting was also phenomenal—they provided so much food, and everything was delicious!
John Serock is one of The Farm at Eagles Ridge exclusive caterers, and I now understand why. They are truly the best bang for your buck! Their base price includes everything you need, including linens, china, and even mixers and bartenders for the open bar. The staff on our wedding day was professional and friendly, making the entire experience seamless. As a thoughtful touch, they even gifted us an engraved champagne ice bucket with our wedding date, which was so special.
If you’re considering a caterer, I couldn’t recommend John Serock more highly! They exceeded every expectation. -

Serock catering is the best of the best. From the food to the attention to detail, we had a great experience with them for our June 2024 wedding. I cannot speak highly enough of our main contact and day of coordinator Steven. He was with us throughout the planning stage, very responsive, and made everything easy and low stress. On the day of the event, Steven was there from start to finish, ensuring that everything ran perfectly. He checked in with us throughout the night, kept everyone on schedule, and was extremely professional. We received many comments on how well done the wedding was and we owe a lot of that to Steven, his staff, and their hard work throughout the night. They were attentive and anticipated our needs before we asked for them. The food was beautiful and delicious. John Serock Catering is top notch and you are in great hands with them. -

We got married at a venue that recommended John Serock Catering and when I started lookin up their menus, pictures, and reviews I knew I had to have them cater our wedding! We went to many tastings but nothing compared to John Serock. The food from cocktail hour to dinner and all the way to dessert, was absolutely delicious and perfect! Not only is the food amazing, but the staff was professional, attentive, and very organized. They took really great care of us as bride and groom the day of the wedding.

Caterer of my dreams! I've been following John Serock on IG for over 7 years now out of coincidence, and when I found my venue (the Barn at Silverstone) and heard they solely catered with John Serock, I knew I found the perfect match. Everything at the tasting was so delicious and since we had work that day and missed the appetizers/cocktail hour tasting, we went on our culinary hunches and picked the apps by the descriptions, which all turned out to be major wins. They had a nice selection of linens and they take care of all the glassware, cutlery. The day of our wedding, our food exceed the tasting. Every one of my guests raved about the food. As someone who has been to over 30 weddings this past decade, I did not have high expectations for wedding food. After all, how can you make delicious meals for almost 150 guests? Apparently they can! Our food tasted even BETTER than at our tasting and we were so, so pleased. Everyone was concerned about my food and water supply as a bride, but I find that when you are with Serock, you do not need to worry. In fact, I got so full off of cocktail I had to stop in order to make sure I can enjoy the entree. The Cabernet Short Ribs is a crowd favorite since they are so tender and fall apart, but my personal favorite is the eggplant parmesan and the Crab Cakes were also a hit. Even the desserts were fantastic and our friends had huge grins on their way from the dessert table. The cinnamon bread pudding is SO good. Nothing warms my heart more than seeing people eat so joyfully, and even make comments about it. Their team is fantastic and seamless with the cocktail hour to reception, making sure everyone had what they needed without making a disruption on our celebration. Everyone was kind, respectful & professional. I highly recommend them for all of your catering needs! I don't have photos of the entrees yet so please enjoy the table setting :) -

Amazing Service & Delicious Food!
The Serock Catering Team is absolutely fabulous! I do not think our day would have been as perfect as it was without the effort of their staff. First and foremost, Violet is the most thoughtful and detail-oriented Day of Coordinator. Every little thing that I asked her to do was done to a tee! Although I did not eat as much as I would have liked to on my wedding day, everything I tasted and drank was amazing. There was so many delicious, unique hors d'oeuvres for our guests to enjoy. My husband and I were well taken care of the whole evening- we didn’t have to worry about a thing! We can not recommend John Serock Catering enough! -

Amazing, Incredible, Friendly & Attentive!
Our experience with John Serock Catering a was nothing but the absolute best! Crystal Turner, the coordinator was the most friendly, attentive, and accommodating planner a bride could have at this very stressful time. Our tasting was fun, interactive and all of the suggestions and tips and tricks she had to offer were so greatly appreciated. All the questions we had leading up to the wedding were answered in a quick and timely fashion. Crystal always found a way to solve any issue that we were having. She is so well knowledged in this field and it was such a joy to work with this whole team. Our choices in food were well planned out and tweaks were made where we needed them. They partner with Master Bakers for the cake choices and let me tell you, our cake absolutely stunning! Our menu also included 2 desserts: warm Apple Cobbler and Chocolate Chip Bread pudding which were truly mouth watering. Needless to say, our wedding day was smooth and gorgeous. The little flaws we had were handled with such ease by Crystal. She truly made the day stress-free. I highly recommend this caterer and especially Crystal, for any event that you may throw. Crystal was an absolute joy and pleasure to work with throughout the whole planning process. Well worth every penny! My husband and I had the best wedding, due hugely in part by the amazing team at John Serock Catering! -

Serock Catering exceeded expectations for our wedding day! The food was INCREDIBLE at our tasting and at the wedding with 150+ people. Kristy at Serock was so easy to work with prior to the day of, the coordination at the rehearsal and making sure the groom and I were always well fed and had everything we needed on the wedding day. The entire staff was so friendly and our wedding night ran so smooth, I cannot recommend this catering company enough for making our day so special!!
We had a Pittsburgh cookie table that Kristy and team offered to help setup, box up and tear down. They were so accommodating to all of our requests and adjusted when we brought extra cookies than expected. We still have so many guests complimenting on how incredible the staff and food was! -

John Serock Catering was outstanding for my November 18,2023 wedding! We worked with Rachael Werley and she was so great! So responsive and answered all my questions. We first met her at an open house event and tried some food there, everything we ate, and I mean EVERYTHING, was good. I don't normally like salmon and their salmon was to die for! All of our wedding guests raved over the food. Rachel was at my wedding and even made sure I was ok and had a drink, going above and beyond her duties. I would choose them again in a heartbeat. My husband and I got married about a month ago and our wedding guests are still talking about how delicious the food was at our wedding! My husband and I especially appreciated that the Serocking catering staff made sure to bring a tray of apps over to us so we could snack while taking pictures during cocktail hour. My husband is not very big on sweets and typically only eats them if he has a glass of milk. Our day of coordinator remembered him mentioning this during our food tasting and made sure to bring a glass of milk out for him during our cake cutting! We loved that they remembered this minor detail and went above and beyond to make sure he could enjoy our wedding cake. Incredible team, amazing food, absolute experts in the industry
We worked with John for our wedding this past June—and I can confidently say he is the reason our reception went off without a hitch. When I initially was researching caterers, I knew I needed someone who felt comfortable working at an offsite family venue. The reception space we used was a very unique location and it required a bit more attention to detail in the planning process. I felt so lost given how much work I realized I was in for, but John and his team put this at ease. They are insanely knowledgeable, responsive, and helped us deliver a spectacular wedding reception. From the planning process to day-of coordination, Serock Catering is the team you want to be working with. I had a vision of hosting a casual, social, yet elevated reception with stations and large open displays of food. People were running up to me all night saying, ‘this is the best food I’ve had at a wedding ever!’ While I am biased, I would have to agree! His team was so professional, friendly, and kind to all our guests throughout the night. All I heard were praises. Cheers to John Serock and his team—you made my vision to life and I am so thankful to have worked with you over the past year. I highly x10 recommend him to any future couples or events. -

We are so lucky that Serock was the exclusive caterer for our wedding at the Barn at Silverstone! We were blown away at our food tasting at how incredible everything tasted. We’ve been told by many of our guests that it was the best cocktail hour they’ve ever been to, AND that the dinner food was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. The servers and bartenders provided excellent service. Kristy, the coordinator for Serock at Silverstone, was an absolute God-send as our right-hand woman throughout the planning process and on the day of. She is one of the main reasons our day ran flawlessly, and we were at ease knowing the details were in her hands. Due to her flawless execution of her timeline, we actually ended up ahead of schedule, which gave us more time on the dance floor! Caroline was the server assigned to my husband & I throughout the night, and it felt like every time we turned around she had a new drink for us or was offering us more food! We felt so taken care of by Kristy, Caroline, and everyone at Serock and are so grateful for their amazing services! I will recommend them over and over again!!! -

Working with Serock was an absolute dream. They KNOW how a wedding should be run and provide top tier service. The food was simply delicious and their entire staff were kind, professional, and efficient. I worked with a different coordinator who was incredible before she went on maternity leave. I was slightly nervous to switch to someone knew halfway through the planning process, but Steven was flawless. He was not only immensely helpful, quick with communication, and total FUN during the planning process but he was AMAZING on the actual day. I already miss him, haha! The food is AMAZING, all of our guests raved about how tasty everything was and how unique some of the dishes were. We had the pleasure of having Serock Catering at our wedding last Sunday 10/30/22 at The Barn at Silverstone and man do they not disappoint! The food is delicious and ALL of the staff from the bartenders, servers, chefs, and of course the AMAZING coordinator Kristy were so awesome!!! Kristy helped me sooo much in my wedding planning process (and I hate planning to this extent) she made it so much more easier for me and was always easily available to answer any questions I had! She checked on us multiple times throughout the wedding and I truly appreciated that. Not to mention she’s just a good time to be around! Such a kind, fun and genuine person. I respect Kristy so much because she was always honest with me and didn’t try to talk me up and add on unnecessary things that would’ve cost me more money. She really is the best along with the owner of the barn, Miranda. We also had the pleasure of meeting John at one of the tastings we had and he was super kind and knowledgeable! But Kristy really is the backbone of that company, I can tell. She handles EVERYTHING and with such ease. Also have to shout out the server that was assigned to us, Cheryl. She must’ve checked on us every 20-30 mins and it was so nice. She got us anything we needed and made sure we ate and always had a drink in our hands. Did I mention how delicious the food and desserts were??? Sorry I can’t say that enough. It is hard to find wedding venues with good food besides just cocktail hour - and Serock is a rare one that every single thing was good. All my guests can attest to this. Thank you Kristy and the whole Serock team for making our wedding a memorable one! We love you! -

Perfect wedding thanks to John Serock!
I can not recommend enough the team at John Serock. I had my wedding at Appleford and Kiley was our coordinator. She was such a pleasure to work with and so responsive to all my questions, and she always made me feel like a feel priority to her.
They were able to easily accommodate family members with specific diets like low FODMAP, vegan, and gluten free while making all the food so delicious. We got so many compliments on the food. And the place setting was perfect.

Rachael was so amazing with helping with anything I needed, even when I decided to change my menu several times in the months leading up to the big day. John Serock's team was outstanding. I worked with Kristy from the beginning, and she was so great and responsive. They have SO much to choose from as far as food, and cater to all dietary restrictions. Their menu was almost too extensive, to the point where it was so hard to choose our wedding menu because of how many great options there were! After having our tasting, we chose the filet and chicken, as well as a quinoa and vegetable option for our vegetarians/vegans. All 3 were seriously a hit! The guests still rave about the food. We had left overs due to some COVID cancellations, l and all the extra food was boxed up at the end of the wedding and sent home with us. We enjoyed all the extras for the next 2 days before out honeymoon, and gave the rest to our family. The food came out in such a timely manner, and the transitions were seamless. We had our own personal server that came to our sweetheart table and really made sure my husband and I were taken care of the entire night, whether it was food, drinks or water. We chose a dessert bar, instead of cake, and although I did not get to taste of the desserts, the guests all loved the various options to choose from. Highly, highly recommend Serock. It was one of our best vendor decisions! -

We chose John Serock after they were featured at an open house at our venue. After sampling some food and checking out the pricing and reviews, we were sold. We booked with them right around the beginning of the pandemic and they were flexible with our date change and throughout all the craziness with covid. Rachael worked with us the whole way through and Sarah was able to pull off our day flawlessly. They were more than willing to have their staff wear masks when we asked last minute due to a covid outbreak that week and understood our concern for the safety of our guests. The food and service was sooooo good! They made sure we were served the whole night. Highly recommend! -

My husband and I got married at The Barn at Silverstone on May 13 and had Serock Catering as the venue’s exclusive caterer. First and foremost, the food was absolutely phenomenal. When we went for our tasting, we both agreed that what we had was certainly not “wedding food”. Kristy, our day-of coordinator and contact for the tasting, was able to accommodate my picky vegetarian husband and also make sure that I had plenty of delicious meat options to choose from. Although side note to all the meat eaters out there, the butternut squash lasagna is so, so good. We had meat eaters pick it, and they were not disappointed. After attending weddings where the vegetarian option is pretty much an afterthought, my husband was VERY happy to have something he was excited to eat. We had quite a few guests with varying dietary restrictions and Serock was able to accommodate everything - including adding two vegan meals!
We heard from so many people during the wedding and after how great the food was. Obviously I’m biased, but it was truly the best wedding meal - and possibly one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, the dessert. We selected the warm bread pudding and ice cream bar. If you’re getting married, this is the dessert to choose. It was literally the best thing ever! We added cookies and brownies too and it was so much fun for our guests.
I was so glad The Barn at Siverstone took out all the guesswork and set us up with such a wonderful and professional caterer.

Having John Serock Cater our wedding was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding day. My top two "must haves" at our wedding were the food and music.. Serock Catering is extremely well known in the area and we had heard nothing but good things about working with them. John Serock was amazing to work with from the day we signed our contract. He made the entire process of being able to sit down and try all our appetizer and entree options, selecting the table linens such an easy and enjoyable experience.
One thing that our out of town guests raved about were the Philly cheese steak egg roll appetizer. If you are from the area, you know that this is commonly on menus at local restaurants so we just knew we had to show it off on our big day being that it also holds a special place in me and my husbands hearts. People would not stop complimenting all the appetizers and entrees we selected which just left us thrilled.
John and his staff did an absolutely perfect job of serving us and our guests on our wedding day. I will for sure be telling everyone about the amazing experience we had for years to come, and if I ever need to cater an event in the future, I know where to start.

I would highly recommend Kristy and the rest of the Serock Catering team. Top-notch does not even begin to explain how amazing our experience was working with Serock. You want the best food for your wedding? Well, you've found it. I've attended plenty of weddings, hired catering companies for private events and even got married once before and the food wasn't nearly this good(partially why I got divorced, but that's another story).
We were one of the 'lucky' couples that picked a wedding date in 2020. We got to go to our tasting, fell in love with the food and couldn't wait to eat it at our reception. Well guess what, we had to wait a whole entire year to finally enjoy our meals. Boy was it worth the wait! KRISTY IS AMAZING. Her team kicked butt too, and man, the food was fantastic. We even asked for some 'off menu' custom items and her team delivered perfectly.
I can't say enough about how amazing everything was. The guests raved about the food, and I have a fridge full of amazing leftovers. Honestly I'll be quite sad when I get through the last of my steaks.
Stop looking, start eating. This is the one. -

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Cassdiy and Sarah of John Serock Catering for our wedding. Because of the pandemic, our wedding had 3 different dates and we had to hustle to find a caterer that was available, attentive, affordable, and most importantly serving up delicious food. We were introduced to Serock Catering through our venue and immediately felt a connection with Cassidy when we connected over the phone and through the millions of emails that we exchanged. What sealed the deal for us was not only the connection we had with Cassidy but the fact that they assigned us a server, who we would know on a first name basis for our wedding day. This was the only catering company to offer us something like this. Cassidy and Sarah both were patient with us as we went through the process of choosing napkins, tablecloths, apps, and our signature drink. The signature, mind you, was an absolute hit and our family has been working to recreate this cocktail throughout the summer.
And on the day of, they were incredible. They were attentive, understanding, and most importantly patient. Even when it began pouring halfway through our dance party and the bar had to be moved indoors, they did so with ease and good humor. They are truly an easy catering company to work with and we felt very comfortable and safe working with them. We cannot recommend John Serock Catering enough. -

We could not recommend John Serock and his team enough! My husband and I were married at Loch Aerie Mansion on September 5, 2021. John served as both the head caterer and event coordinator. After multiple years of planning and rescheduling due to COVID, we were finally able to have our dream wedding. John and his team made the day run effortlessly. We were supposed to have an outdoor ceremony and it rained at the last minute. We decided to move the ceremony indoors and the transition to an indoor ceremony was seamless! John made the planning process fun and personalized. My husband and I come from multicultural backgrounds and the food at our wedding was phenomenal (traditional American and Indian stations). John personally made sure at our reception that my husband and I were able to try all of the food and we were never hungry! All of our guests raved about the food, service, attention to detail, and caring nature of the entire team. We will continue to use John Serock for future events and highly recommend his team! -

Serock catered our wedding at the Barn at Silverstone, and they did an incredible job. Kristy, our coordinator, and the Serock team were truly a pleasure to work with and made planning a wedding so easy. We worked with them to reschedule our wedding several times due to covid and they were so flexible and accommodating with every change we had to make. Whenever I had a question Kristy was quick to respond no matter how big or small.
Kristy made sure the reception ran smoothly and worked with the venue manager to take care of literally everything. At the end of the night, she packed up our cars, and left us with goodie bags of appetizers, and desserts that we didn't have time to enjoy that night! Also, the food was AMAZING, and we got so many compliments from our guests about how delicious their meal was. The dessert bar was a huge bonus, and having warm apple crisp during our fall wedding was such a nice touch. Their servers and bartenders were so attentive and professional and the entire night was a success thanks to them. I'd use Serock Catering again without hesitation. Thank you!! -

We had our September wedding at the Barn at Silverstone in Lancaster. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Serock as our caterer. Kristy was our coordinator and she is THE BEST. Multi-cultural, vegetarian, meat and potato lovers - you name it and we needed to consider it! And, John Serock was the perfect person to make the magic happen! Our daughter, Ashlee and her husband, Raj, had planned, postponed, rescheduled and reimagined over the past two years. John never made us feel that the changes were a problem and his reassurance was more than comforting. When it came to choosing a menu for the reception, we knew that we needed to offer Indian cuisine as well as more traditional fare. Raj’s mother, Shantha, is an excellent cook who has published Indian cookbooks and has very high standards. She, and all of the Indian food lovers, gave the Serock staff rave reviews! We had stations at the reception and it gave everyone a chance to sample multiple items. As much as the Indian food was a hit, the salmon was “to die for” according to many guests. The hors-d’oeuvres were delicious and fun! There was something for everyone, including the youngest guests.The charcuterie board was beautiful, the signature drinks were delicious and the gelato bar was over the top! After hours of non-stop dancing, the coolness of the gelato was the perfect touch -finished off with an assortment of great toppings! What is wedding cake without gelato and D’Ascenzo’s has the best! Ohhh, the mint! And, if that wasn’t enough, we were surprised with delicious fresh baked cookies as we left Loch Aerie. John Serock is not only an excellent caterer, he is a terrific man! Ten minutes before our outdoor ceremony was to begin, the skies opened up and John and his team seamlessly moved us indoors, John escorted the bride through the rain, under a huge umbrella so that she could make an “entrance”. Every little hiccup was handled by John, his team and the Loch Aerie staff, especially A.J. Some of the comments that we received from guests included: “The best wedding - ever” “Simply elegant” “Delicious food, decadent desserts and down and dirty dancing!”

Thank you so so much to Serock Catering for helping us have the perfect wedding day!! Our wedding was so magical and all that we ever could have dreamed of and more!! We truly could not have done it without Serock and Rachael.
All of our guests have come back to us with so many compliments on the food from every stage of the evening. One of our guests even had 6 of the key lime pie mini desserts and 4 s'mores for desserts they were so good!! The appetizers, dinner and dessert were delicious and beautifully served.

We worked with Rachel from Serock Catering for a recent wedding on 9/11/2021. From the first consultation, to the end of the event, John Serock was absolute perfection.
Rachel was communicative, friendly, and ever so helpful. She was willing to answer ALL of our questions, talk us through the process of choosing meals, setting up the day, and providing us feedback for our choices/ideas. She was outstanding.
Now onto the food, it was THE BEST wedding food we've ever had. We chose scallops, short rib and chicken for dinner options and all were cooked perfectly. We are huge foodies, as a many of our guests, and everyone raved about the food. Scallops were tender, short rib fell of the bone, chicken was moist and seared. It was all so so mouthwateringly good. They also have a ton of slightly unique options which we appreciated. The appetizers were fun and delicious.
Finally, THEIR WAITSTAFF. Wow, what an incredible group of servers. Covid has affected every industry and the fact that they were still able to carry out impeccable service the entire night was impressive. The bartenders were friendly and quick to make well-preppared cocktails.

John Serock Catering, the whole team, and especially Kristy were incredible to work with! We were a little nervous at first because our venue, The Barn at Silverstone, makes us choose Serock Catering but clearly Silverstone knows what they're doing because those nerves went away extremely fast! The food is unbelievably delicious. All of our wedding guests are still raving about it to this day. And the fact that they wrapped us up to-go boxes of every appetizer, station meal, and all 3 entrees we had was amazing. Kristy was our day of coordinator and honestly our savior. She was so easy to communicate with, answered all our questions, and we would've been a mess without her the day of our wedding. The staff was so nice and helpful, including the server who was assigned to us (a nice perk). I wish I could give 10 stars for how amazing everything went. Thank you Kristy, thank you Serock! John Serock was the best choice we could have made for our wedding. We worked directly with Kristy and from our tasting to our final meeting, anytime we had a question, no matter how big or how small, she was ready and willing to help answer! John Serock also took care of all the linens, which looked fabulous in our location. But what really solidified them as a top notch vendor to us was that even though our wedding was in June 2021, they were extremely accommodating to us changing our guest total so late in the game due to COVID.
Our only minor criticism would be the time it took between salads and entrees. My husband and I felt it was a little longer than normal, but when later talking to our guests they all advised that they didn't even notice and it gave them time to go get another drink!
Overall, the food is amazing (get the dumpling appetizers!), the presentation was on point, and the service from both Kristy beforehand, and the staff the day of was uncomparable. You can tell the pride everyone took in working for John Serock and it really showed both in service and in the food. They helped make our wedding day smooth and seamless, and absolutely delicious! Please, book them for your wedding or event! -

Cassidy and John Serock Catering were wonderful to work with! We got engaged and started planning our wedding at the start of covid, and we chose john serock catering early on due to their great reviews, great communication from the first email, and yummy food at the tasting. Wedding planning during the pandemic was difficult but Cassidy answered all my questions and was so incredibly flexible which put my mind at ease. We ended up switching out venue less than 2 months before our wedding date, and they were so efficient about carrying over our plans to accommodate a new venue and changing our menu from brunch stations to dinner stations. The day of Cassidy and the team did a great job with the set-up, and the paella station (especially the emanadas) were guests' favorites and there was more than enough food for all our guests! Above and beyond!!
Serock Catering & our lead coordinator Rachael went above and beyond all of our expectations as our wedding caterer!! During the planning process, we changed our date, changed our venue, and changed our guest count, and Serock never missed a beat. Rachael guided us through the entire planning process - from menus to floor plans to day of timing. We didn’t have a “vision” of our dream wedding going into the planning, and Rachael worked with us to make sure the celebration was a perfect reflection of us as a couple.
Probably most special to us were the efforts Serock put in to help us serve Indian inspired appetizers at the wedding. The groom’s parents were unable to travel from India to the US for the wedding due to COVID, and having delicious Indian food during our celebration was so special to us. The menu wasn’t something Serock does every day, yet it was so clear at our tasting how willing the entire staff was to get it right for us. And in the end, all of the food was incredible!! Many guests still talk about how great all of the food was - from the Indian appetizers to the warm dessert bar.
Serock Catering and Rachael - thank you for working so hard to make our wedding day a celebration we will never forget. You helped us create something so special, made our lives so easy working directly with the venue, band, etc. and it was so comforting to know you were thinking of every little detail so we didn’t have to. From our first meeting, we were impressed with John's enthusiasm, his accommodating, “can do” spirit and the dazzling array of possibilities offered to us. Simply put, John's implementation of our hopes and dreams was perfection personified. Each table setting was stunning. The service provided by the wait and bar staff was impeccable. The food was – is unparalleled. The compliments that we have received, and continue to come in, could not be more glowing. Many come from “seasoned” wedding goers, who claim emphatically that they have never had better food anywhere. High praise indeed!
John and his team worked seamlessly to ensure our complete satisfaction, and Jackie, who attended the bride and groom throughout the evening was exceptional!. It was a flawless presentation that delighted not only Emily and John, but their assembled families and friends as well. We cannot recommend John Serock Catering enough. We got married 9/26/2020 at The Barn at Silverstone, and it was the most perfect day. Kristy was our day of coordinator and helped us with all of our planning needs. Honestly, the day ran so smoothly, that at the end of the night, I had to ask her if there were any hiccups that I should be aware of!
We requested some hors d’oeuvres for cocktail hour that were not on the menu, and they were able to accommodate all of our requests! Dinner was amazing – our guests continue to rave about how this was “the best wedding food they’ve had”. All entrees were delicious, and most importantly, served hot! Although I did not get to try the desserts (too busy dancing!), our guests said they were delicious. The bartenders did a great job with our signature drinks as well. Above all, Kristy made sure that my husband and I had everything we needed throughout the entire night.
