Roxanne was very honest with me from the begining, I had shopped around and found some lowercosting vendors but I did not want to sacrafice quality. She was very resonable for what she offered, and the turn around time on the pictures was great!
We loved all of the photos she took and she was very professional, she came fully prepaired for what ever happened, and she was very flexible wwith the time and any changes we made. I was very impressed her photos. I would highly reccomend her for you wedding or any other even she is very organized and took all of th photos/poses that we asked for!

Roxanne Ashey photographed our wedding on Oct. 1, 2005 in South Freeport Maine. I met Roxanne at a Wedding show at the Sebasco Harbor Resort. I had heard of Roxanne but had not yet seen her work until I met her at the show. I was very impressed with the portfolios that she presented. What I saw of the work she presented was that she had the experience to know where to be to capture those spontaneous moments in addition to the traditional formal shots. She also seemed to have a creative eye that I was particularly drawn to. There are so many photographers out there and many may have impressive work to show but what truly sets Roxanne apart from the rest is her personality and experience. She is the kind of person that you meet and it takes no time at all before you feel like you have known her for years. Roxanne made me laugh and eased my nerves. She thought of things that I had not (did all the planning myself) and offered helpful suggestions. I am so grateful I hired Roxanne to shoot our wedding. She went above and beyond her responsibilities as photographer. I was so pleased with the final products and felt so comfortable with her that I did something I would have never thought I would would do. I hired her to photograph the birth of our first born in 2008. I don't think many couples think about the photographers working style/personality when making their decision, I know I didn't. Your wedding day, the birth of your first born... these are the most emotionally charged, intimate moments of your life. We were so impressed with Roxanne! The way she flowed through the wedding with such grace and professionalism. She was endlessly personable and friendly with our guests while creating such a comfortable atmosphere for everyone being photographed. Most of all, our pictures are just amazing! We have so many beautiful memories that Roxanne captured perfectly. And she captured many fun and wonderful moments of our family and friends that we are so grateful to have. She took a series of photos of my grandfather and I dancing; I can't describe how special and treasured those are to me. Roxanne photographed my fall wedding that took place on coastal Maine. I found her online and after viewing her portfolio and meeting her, I selected her. Roxanne's pricing was very competetive too. Due to an impending hurricane, the ceremony was moved up a day early and this last minute request was no problem for Roxanne. She adjusted her schedule and shot some amazing photos both at Portland Head Light as well as by our home on Sebago Lake. My wedding album would not look so spectacular without her talented eye! Roxanne photographed our wedding on August 7, 2010 at Loon Lodge in Rangeley, Maine. Prior to our wedding we met with Roxanne twice to discuss what types of photos that we wanted to get of our day. I felt very comfortable with her right away and knew that she was going to be our photographer. She was immediately able to get a sense of our style and even had recommendations to help us with our planning. During our actual wedding day she was very mindful to be sure she got every photo that we had discussed.

On our wedding day, Roxanne was very accommodating she went to two different locations in order to get shots of my husband and I getting ready for our big day. All of the photos she got throughout the day were incredible and most of the time I didn't even realize she was there capturing these moments! She was not invasive in any way. During our formal group shots she was excellent at managing our time to be sure we got all the photos we wanted without taking too long. After the wedding she quickly had some teaser photos for us to look at online to give us a sneak peak!

Our wedding was almost 3 years ago and I am still completely enamored with the photos! She did an incredible job capturing all of the intimate moments of our special day. When I look back through the photos I am able to relive each feeling of that incredible day thanks to Roxanne!

Since our wedding we have used Roxanne again to take family photos when our daughter was an infant. And we certainly plan to use Roxanne again! Planning a Maine wedding from Los Angeles presented many challenges. Finding a photographer, however, was not one of those challenges. My search began with Roxanne’s website, online photo galleries, and various other online advertisements or testimonials, all of which do her work justice. Our first phone conversation was comfortable and I knew immediately that if a stranger was to see me in my underwear on my wedding day (en route to wearing the white dress!), it was going to be her. Roxanne is so in tune with the business and wedding traditions yet she was willing to embrace what mattered most to my husband and me (including getting some outdoor shots despite – no kidding – torrential downpour). Seamus and I couldn’t be happier with every single photo captured on our wedding day: from the formal family shots in front of a fireplace, to the candid shots on the dance floor; from the exchange of rings, to the exchange of glances. This is one amazing woman! Both professionally and personally! Her attention to detail is unsurpassed! When she heard there was an issue with the men's flowers, she was on her way to help. She reminded the girls to get our flowers out of water and dried! Who would ever think of these small, but very important details? And the not so small... she was instrumental in coordinating the beginning of the ceremony. Bless this woman. She is fantastic at her job. Every reason to spend the money for a true expert!
