Sheila Irene Photography is a wedding photographer based in Prospect, Maine. Sheila knows that your wedding day will contain some of the most important memories of your life. She doesn't want you to forget a moment, and she wants each memory to be remembered in all its glory. Her passion is evident in her work, photos and approach to working with her clients.
Experience
When her daughter was born, Sheila could not stop taking pictures. She wanted to capture everything so that nothing was forgotten. She easily found her passion in photography and wanted to be there to help capture everyone's special moments. She gained experience through taking classes and photographing numerous weddings. Her passion has only increased since she started; she wants to be able to capture the moments on your wedding day that could otherwise be forgotten.

Amazing Experience
I had only less than a month to my wedding and I was able to book her! She was very prompt at returning messages and flexible about when to arrive at the wedding. She was professional and very friendly. I enjoyed having her take the photos of our special day. I highly recommend her!

Sheila is Amazing!
Sheila worked with us on our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Because of everything happening in 2020 we had to make last minute changes with our venue locations and our wedding details. She was very accommodating to work with our last minute changes. We really appreciated her flexibility, especially when so many other vendors weren’t being accommodating.
She did such a great job! We absolutely love how our pictures came out. We recommend her 100%!

I can’t even begin to tell you!
I don’t think I’ve had a more unique and fun photographer. We aren’t a photo posing type of couple, but we definitely had fun taking shots with my fathers Harley and my husbands truck he’s built from the ground up. She was really open minded and creative! I can’t wait to see the rest of the album. Thank you again.

Outdoor wedding
Sheila is a really lovely photographer. I got married in fall in Maine and she managed to capture the wonderful fall colors on a cloudy day. She was very kind to us and at the same time very professional. She has incredible ideas and thanks to that we have memories with many different landscapes. 100% recommended.

Photographer specializing in capturing WARMTH!
If you want the emotional warmth of connecting with your romantic partner during your wedding, this woman does it! She knows how to work the camera so the background melts away and the focus is your love. She is easy to communicate with, responsible and clear with her needs and expectations. She also listens well to your requests and makes every accommodation to make it happen. She is comfortable right off the bat with your entire crazy family (yes, your family is crazy, too), and isn't in the way as your day leads on. Sheila is down to earth and no drama! Her photos captured moments I would never want to forget. Definitely recommend for intimate, family style weddings.

I cannot say enough fantastic things about Sheila as our wedding photographer! Not only is she incredibly talented behind the camera, but she's an honestly sweet, down-to-earth person. You'll feel like you're being photographed by a friend that cares about making your wedding photos the most beautiful and flattering as possible! In addition to her skill, Sheila was very flexible with her schedule as our wedding ceremony was moved 3 hours earlier than planned in the 2 weeks before our event. She was more familiar with the Camden area than my husband and I were, so she already had some excellent ideas for where the best shots could be taken. With the 4-hour package, Sheila was able to take her time, never rushed us, and ultimately produced some of the best photos of us we've ever seen. The wooden box and flahdrive personalized with our photos was also an unexpected, creative touch we loved! Thank you, Sheila, and if you are in the market for a photographer in the mid-coast area of Maine - hire her immediately!!

Sheila was absolutely amazing from the start. Since we lived so far away she offered to meet us half way for our pre-wedding consultation. She had suggestions for us that were very helpful to prep for our day.
On wedding day she was calm, cool, collected. It was almost like she was not even there! She was very comfortable to work with for our portraits, showering us with compliments and letting us know when she got the shots she needed. We trusted her COMPLETELY!
We got the photos in the beautiful wooden box in a usb.
The photos are nothing short of INCREDIBLE, and far surpassed my wildest expectations! I am camera shy and self-conscious, not an easy subject, but Sheila and her assistant nailed it. We were happy they also included different retouches on some of our portraits. We will cherish our photos for all our days.
