I could not be more grateful to have had Alexandra’s expertise on our wedding day. When I saw Alexandra’s work for the first time, I could see right off the bat that she was amazingly skilled; not only were her shots stunning with tons of gorgeous natural light, but they felt truly genuine and real – and to me that was extremely important in selecting a photographer to capture our day. The photos Alexandra captured are absolutely OUTSTANDING. When we looked through the full collection of pictures for the first time, it brought us both to tears, and they continue to make us smile every time we look through them!!! The way she was able to capture the emotions throughout the day as well as the genuine essence of us and the essence of our family and friends was just so beautifully done. You can truly feel the love and emotion in each photo. She even captured some beautiful candid shots of my dad smiling, which is not an easy feat since he is typically very uncomfortable in front of the camera! Leading up to our wedding day, Alexandra was extremely responsive and thoughtful, and set up multiple calls to talk through the schedule, day-of details, and important shots we wanted to be sure to capture. She really took the time to get to know us and what we were looking for. Having never been through this process before, we had zero clue what we were doing and genuinely appreciated how thorough she was about planning and communicating about all of these details in advance! We felt like we were in such good hands the entire time, and that really put our minds at ease and helped us feel so much more comfortable. Alexandra was also extremely flexible on the day of our wedding; she traveled back and forth to two different locations to capture our ceremony and reception. We also had to make a last-minute call on whether to move forward with an outdoor ceremony given the uncertain weather forecast (we opted to do it outside, and it was totally worth it!) Alexandra was super chill and easygoing about it, and we so appreciated her ability to go with the flow. I can’t say enough good things about Alexandra! Not only is her work amazing, but she is a lovely person all around and truly wonderful to work with! We will cherish these photos forever and are endlessly grateful to have these pictures to help us remember our special day.

From a groom’s perspective, Alexandra is awesome. She shoots everything for the big day and doesn’t miss anything. She is punctual, on time, and professional. My wife and I told her we really wanted a photographer to give us direction and Alexandra certainly knows how to do that. I don’t want to say she is “bossy” because she certainly isn’t, but she knows exactly what will deliver the best shot and she told us her thought process which was fantastic. She went above and beyond and even brought in her sister who is also a photographer to help with some of the shots. Hiring her was easily one of the best decisions my wife and I made!

Alexandra was an absolute delight and so much fun to work with for our big day! From the planning stages to post-wedding, she was always very responsive and professional. We wanted our wedding photos to capture the genuine emotions of the day and not feel like the photos were too staged or forced. My husband and I can only say amazing things about Alexandra. Alexandra created a package to accommodate our small wedding. Alexandra was prompt with responses to our emails, texts, and phone calls, and punctual arriving at our wedding. She was fun, engaging, and made us and our families feel at ease.
We were amazed at the quality of photographs Alexandra created for us. There was so much variety in her images: close-ups of our faces that describe so much emotion, full-body shots, family portraits in all of their different groupings, candids, dancing, and details really create the impression of the entire wedding. Sharing these images with friends and family who weren't able to attend made them feel like they were right there with us! We highly recommend her. She will not disappoint!

I can't say enough about Alexandra Chapman and her professionalism. I usually don't write reviews but I certainly read them when I am considering just about anything that has room for feedback from people like me. Obviously getting married has a ton of stressful decisions and the to do list just never seems to end until the day after the wedding. Alexandra helped us through this whole process starting with the ceremony itself, all the intricate parts that make the day unique and special to us. She's clearly shot many weddings and knows exactly what to expect and how to avoid issues. Her advice. was spot on. Here's a clear example: Where to setup the event. I thought we had the best spot picked out. In my brain it was ideal. Once she was there she made several observations on what to be aware of and how the space would hold our guests, not to mention how the pictures would look. After my wife and I discussed the options we agreed her recommendation of where to set up would be the best spot. Another example: Making creative use of the natural surroundings to stage a shot that will be never forgotten. She had us make ring holders out of wood and twine to capture the beauty of our rings. We loved the shot. It was elegant and grasped exactly what the rings mean to us beyond their beauty and symbolism. Photography is defined as the Art of Light. Alexandra uses light like no other wedding photographer I have ever met. Hopefully this review is tied to our photos so you can see for yourself how creative she used different settings and light to capture our moment. Lastly, finding a photographer willing to travel isn't easy. She flew to Colorado and spent the time to see our event location and customize our day to best meet her needs and ours. She traveled the entire day with us and captured each moment from getting dressed with our bridal party, to the ceremony itself and the way through the evening at our reception. She danced with us, laughed with us, and even shed tears with us of happiness. Thanks Alexandra for making our wedding day last for a lifetime. Your amazing skills are so appreciated and I hope this review speaks to our absolute and unequivocal recommendation to anyone seeking a photographer. Alexandra was an absolute joy to work with and I’d recommend her services to anyone. The quality of her work is exceptional (which I expected based on her online portfolio). What I didn’t expect was how much value she provided beyond the final product. Leading up to our event, she answered questions I didn’t even know to ask. Weddings can be stressful but Alexandra’s breath and depth of experience saved us significant stress and expense. These are services I did not know a photographer could provide.

Alexa was great to work with!! I planned my wedding from a different state (during COVID) so I didn’t meet her until the day of the wedding. She definitely knew what she was doing and made sure that she knew what was most important to me ahead of time. I didn’t worry about a thing the entire day! She captured so many great moments and the photos were FABULOUS!!
