Our experience with Andy, and his partner Sarah, was everything we could have dreamed of and more!!

Starting out we were a little nervous about getting our photos taken out of our bubble in Philadelphia because we're in the LGBTQIA community and finding someone that would be courteous and aware of that was really important to us, and these two made it easy for us to feel at ease. Our original dates got a little messy due to a hurricane coming up the coast and Andy was very flexible in picking a different day that called for better weather. Having nature be a main element in our photos was really important to us and he picked out the perfect setting for us to get those elements in our photoshoot. There also happened to be a full moon (The Blueberry Moon in Maine, how perfect!) that night and we were able to extend our time to get some incredible full moon photos.

We received our finished photos super fast (less than 48 hours!!) which was totally unexpected and incredible timing. Andy and Sarah were a dream to work with- professional, kind, and easy to communicate. Our wedding day is in July and we couldn't be more excited to work with them again! It's 6mos later and we're still in total awe of what they were able to capture for us. Do yourself a favor, if you're getting married or having your photoshoot in Maine and want the best possible photos, work with these two. You won't regret it.

Andy was the perfect photographer for our intimate wedding at our home in Maine. He captured a stunning collection of candid's, family portraits, and truly lovely portraits of Kristen and I (Craig) in our garden and around our woodsy property. He managed to get great candid shots of every guest that attended including some adorable shots of my young Nephew picking blueberries in our garden, and our daughter joining in our ceremony, amongst many other special moments. He suffered the hot humid temps, the horseflies, and the challenging natural lighting of a mid July wedding without complaint, and when the time came for family portraits he was on the ready to herd the cats and get the job done. When it came to capturing the details such as the rings, flowers, and tacos, he got it all. As a fellow wedding photographer in western Maine, I was impressed by Andy's work acumen and ethic. Needless to say, we were blown away by his work when we received our sample album within a day. Amazingly our thumb drives and full online gallery arrived in under three weeks! We are so grateful we booked Andy to capture our special backyard wedding celebration.

We knew Andy and Sarah were going to be great wedding photographers, but they ended up smashing our high expectations out of the park -- they are absolutely AMAZING! They were kind, thoughtful and professional leading up to (and during) the big day, asking just the right questions to help us think through necessary details ahead of time. We had a camp weekend wedding and they were able to capture the whole atmosphere so beautifully from close ups of flower arrangements, to wide sweeping shots of the lake and ceremony, to the BEST candids of camp activities/dancing/ceremony moments, and the most magical romantic shots of us! We were able to share the wedding album with family who couldn't be there and it truly felt like we could authentically share the experience and relive it! Wedding celebrations can be stressful, but on the big day Sarah and Andy are such wonderful additions to those special moments. They bring a kind, thoughtful and calm presence with just the right joke and guidance to put you at ease and capture moments beautifully. We could not more highly recommend Andy Gagne Photography. Andy was an amazing support to us throughout the craziness of scheduling a wedding during COVID. He was very flexible with our ever-changing plans. Andy was a great addition to our wedding day, he blended right in with our guests, who all raved about him after our wedding day. He sent us sneak peek photos a couple days after the wedding & so far they are amazing! We can't wait to see the rest of the package! We would highly recommend Andy to any couple seeking a wedding photographer!

Working with Andy and his partner, Sarah, is a true pleasure! Andy is that great blend of being incredibly professional, flexible, and easy going. Our original wedding plans were changed up a lot due to COVID-19 and Andy stayed very flexible/supportive through the whole re-work process. Oh and Andy's/Sarah's photos are amazing!! They were a seamless team during the wedding day and really captured the essence of our small outdoor event.

We had a wonderful experience with Andy and I would highly recommend him. Initially we hired Andy because of his proximity to the wedding location and because we loved his photos (not just his wedding photos, but also his beautiful nature photography). We were also looking for a smaller package (4 hours, rather than all day). It turned out that Andy’s relaxed but professional vibe was the perfect fit for our event. We had a small outdoor wedding and wanted a fun, relaxed, intimate vibe. I wanted to have photos of our special day, but I didn’t want to feel like we had a photographer in our face the whole day. Andy understood that right away and was just perfect at catching the important moments without being intrusive or rigid. He fit it so perfectly it was just like having another guest at the wedding. Andy did a great job with our nephew who was very camera shy- his little tricks worked perfectly to get him involved in the process and ease his nerves. We were also happy that Andy was willing to meet with us at the venue a few days before the wedding so we could show him around and talk about what we wanted for the event and hear his suggestions. After the wedding we got our photos back with a month and they were beautiful! We were thrilled with Andy’s artistic eye and the way he’d managed to capture lots of little moments throughout the day. I think the photos show all of our guests looking and acting like themselves, which goes to show how comfortable Andy made everyone feel. Andy provided all of the photos to us on a Zip drive, in both high and low res (high res for printing, low res for sharing on the computer). That has made it very easy to print and share the photos.
I can’t say enough good things about Andy. Multiple guests told us how great Andy was at the wedding and we've gotten many comments on the beautiful photos. We would hire him again in a heartbeat for any other big event we wanted photographed. Andy is fantastic!

Andy and Sarah were incredible! He was easy to work with, great with kids and captured every moment at our wedding! They are a fun pair to have at your wedding and they’ll make the photos easy and seamless for you. I highly recommend Andy and his second shooter Sarah! We couldn’t have asked for someone better.

Andy and Sarah do not control the wedding but capture it. It is truly an amazing contrast to the barking dogs photographers can be. Planning ahead how and where the photographs will be taken and following with the casual shots that capture the full experience. Everyone complimented them for the experience as well as the quality.

Andy and Sarah were truly excellent. They were organized, considerate and engaged before the event, coming to see the venue with us and clearly laying out what they would deliver and their expectations from us. During the event, they were present, upbeat and encouraging when needed and quiet, relaxed and efficient when that was what the moment called for. It helped that whenever we made eye contact with them, they had the hugest smiles! Ahead of the wedding, we were were open about not wanting to spend too much time on portraits during the event – so that we could spend more time with guests, and they were great at respecting that and taking great portrait shots as well! Choosing vendors for your wedding is hard, and you don't always get what you expect. We got what we expected and more from Andy and Sarah and are so grateful. Thank you!
