    Roxanne was very honest with me from the begining, I had shopped around and found some lowercosting vendors but I did not want to sacrafice quality. She was very resonable for what she offered, and the turn around time on the pictures was great!
    We loved all of the photos she took and she was very professional, she came fully prepaired for what ever happened, and she was very flexible wwith the time and any changes we made. I was very impressed her photos. I would highly reccomend her for you wedding or any other even she is very organized and took all of th photos/poses that we asked for!

    This is one amazing woman! Both professionally and personally! Her attention to detail is unsurpassed! When she heard there was an issue with the men's flowers, she was on her way to help. She reminded the girls to get our flowers out of water and dried! Who would ever think of these small, but very important details? And the not so small... she was instrumental in coordinating the beginning of the ceremony. Bless this woman. She is fantastic at her job. Every reason to spend the money for a true expert!

    Roxanne is not just a vendor. She becomes a friend! She doesn't treat you as "just another client" she treats you as an individual and she wants to get to know you and what shots are important to you because after all it is your wedding. Photography was the most important part to me about my wedding and my shots all came out beautiful and I could not be more pleased! Roxanne captured moments on my big day that even I didn't see! She wants your shots to be how you envision them and she will work with you to make your day how you want it! She was the easiest person to work with and if she couldn't answer your call she ALWAYS promptly responded as soon as she could. She's never in your face with the camera, I never wanted to just be blinded with flashes on my wedding day and I wasn't! She's just amazing as her job. I have already recommended to all my friends and family. Choose her if you want a photographer who goes out of her way to make your wedding exactly how you envisioned it!

    We were very happy with the quality of the pictures that we received from Roxanne. She was also very supportive at our wedding and was there whenever we had any questions (even if it wasn't about pictures). I would recommend her to any of my friends.

    Roxanne recently photographed our wedding Rangeley, Maine. She did a fabulous job! We had a chance to meet with her a couple times prior to our wedding and we immediately clicked! She was asked just the right questions so that she could get a good idea of what exactly we were looking for in our photos. She also shared a lot of information with us to help us think of how to plan our day out. Once the wedding was here Roxanne did such a wonderful job getting pictures of everything we had asked her to. To be honest with you she did such a great job of just capturing the moment without being intrusive! We really didn't notice her there most of the time! We did have some special requests and she was sure to get the shots we had asked for. She got some sunset shots and we had requested for her to take shots of us and our guests with sparklers and she was up for the challenge! Overall, we were very happy with Roxanne! We have not yet received our photos, but I have seen about 5 of the pictures and they are incredible! I can't wait to see the rest of what she captured! Thank you Roxanne!

    Roxanne photographed our wedding on August 7, 2010 at Loon Lodge in Rangeley, Maine. Prior to our wedding we met with Roxanne twice to discuss what types of photos that we wanted to get of our day. I felt very comfortable with her right away and knew that she was going to be our photographer. She was immediately able to get a sense of our style and even had recommendations to help us with our planning. During our actual wedding day she was very mindful to be sure she got every photo that we had discussed.

    On our wedding day, Roxanne was very accommodating she went to two different locations in order to get shots of my husband and I getting ready for our big day. All of the photos she got throughout the day were incredible and most of the time I didn't even realize she was there capturing these moments! She was not invasive in any way. During our formal group shots she was excellent at managing our time to be sure we got all the photos we wanted without taking too long. After the wedding she quickly had some teaser photos for us to look at online to give us a sneak peak!

    Our wedding was almost 3 years ago and I am still completely enamored with the photos! She did an incredible job capturing all of the intimate moments of our special day. When I look back through the photos I am able to relive each feeling of that incredible day thanks to Roxanne!

    Since our wedding we have used Roxanne again to take family photos when our daughter was an infant. And we certainly plan to use Roxanne again! If you are looking to have every moment of your wedding day captured and someone that is willing to get every shot you dreamed of, then Roxanne is the photographer for you!

    Dear Roxanne,
    Thank you so much for all of the work you did, making Dale's and my memories so beautiful!
    We've looked at each and every picture multiple times, and I am honestly overwhelmed by the beauty you captured! What a blessing to see such a wonderful day through eyes other than mine.
    Dale and I have both commented about how nice it was to feel that we'd really gotten to know you personally by the end of the day. The way you just made yourself comfortable with our families and the plans of the day added to the family feel that Dale and I wanted for that day. And getting a ride to the reception was great! Your truck was probably the safest vehicle to use, considering the weather that day!
    I've wanted a white, snowy wedding my whole life, and I could not be happier with how you captured that day. Thank you, Roxanne.

    Planning a Maine wedding from Los Angeles presented many challenges. Finding a photographer, however, was not one of those challenges. My search began with Roxanne’s website, online photo galleries, and various other online advertisements or testimonials, all of which do her work justice. Our first phone conversation was comfortable and I knew immediately that if a stranger was to see me in my underwear on my wedding day (en route to wearing the white dress!), it was going to be her. Roxanne is so in tune with the business and wedding traditions yet she was willing to embrace what mattered most to my husband and me (including getting some outdoor shots despite – no kidding – torrential downpour). Seamus and I couldn’t be happier with every single photo captured on our wedding day: from the formal family shots in front of a fireplace, to the candid shots on the dance floor; from the exchange of rings, to the exchange of glances. Thank you thank you thank you! We’ll treasure your work always.

    Roxanne photographed my fall wedding that took place on coastal Maine. I found her online and after viewing her portfolio and meeting her, I selected her. Roxanne's pricing was very competetive too. Due to an impending hurricane, the ceremony was moved up a day early and this last minute request was no problem for Roxanne. She adjusted her schedule and shot some amazing photos both at Portland Head Light as well as by our home on Sebago Lake. My wedding album would not look so spectacular without her talented eye! Above being a beautiful photographer, Roxanne is a wonderful, caring woman full of energy and I'm now glad to call her my friend! I would highlyrecommend Roxanne's services.

    We were so impressed with Roxanne! The way she flowed through the wedding with such grace and professionalism. She was endlessly personable and friendly with our guests while creating such a comfortable atmosphere for everyone being photographed. Most of all, our pictures are just amazing! We have so many beautiful memories that Roxanne captured perfectly. And she captured many fun and wonderful moments of our family and friends that we are so grateful to have. She took a series of photos of my grandfather and I dancing; I can't describe how special and treasured those are to me. When I look at them I can feel myself in the moment; overwhelmed with happiness and love, holding back tears. Roxanne has this power to freeze a moment and all of the feelings and emotions that go along with it.
    We received our photos very quickly and have been enjoying them ever since! We are happy we chose Roxanne as our photographer. She was the perfect choice for our perfect day!

    Roxanne is exceptional. In all honesty, I am really uncomfortable having my picture taken and she was able to capture my wedding day without me feeling like there was a camera in my face - EVER. In the end I had 946 photos of which I got ALL of the digital negatives and out of all of those photos - there were exactly THREE that I didn't care for - not even hated - just didn't love. Better yet there are so many that I do love. She was awesome, also full of great advice leading up to the day as far planning the flow of things at the wedding and reception - just suggestions though, she by no means takes over. She was wonderful to work with, and I was so glad that I hired her. Check out her website and see for yourself, her work is amazing. I would also add that I had my pictures pretty quickly after my wedding too so that was important as well.

    What can I say, I am IN LOVE with my wedding photos. Working with Roxanne was truly wonderful. From our first meeting, to the time my book was done, she was professional, helpful and honest. I felt like she truly cared that my photos were as wonderful as possible. And during my ceremony and reception, I did not feel like she was "in my face", in fact she caught many moments that I missed. She asked me what my vision was, and truly kept to that vision. As the photos are the only things that lasts, I am telling you, it is worth every penny you pay to have this talented woman work with you! Her work is spectacular!

    Roxanne is the best photographer. You hardly knew she was there and was able to capture all the special moments of the wedding. She is professional and fun at the same time. I would highly recommened her services

    Roxanne Ashey photographed our wedding on Oct. 1, 2005 in South Freeport Maine. I met Roxanne at a Wedding show at the Sebasco Harbor Resort. I had heard of Roxanne but had not yet seen her work until I met her at the show. I was very impressed with the portfolios that she presented. What I saw of the work she presented was that she had the experience to know where to be to capture those spontaneous moments in addition to the traditional formal shots. She also seemed to have a creative eye that I was particularly drawn to. There are so many photographers out there and many may have impressive work to show but what truly sets Roxanne apart from the rest is her personality and experience. She is the kind of person that you meet and it takes no time at all before you feel like you have known her for years. Roxanne made me laugh and eased my nerves. She thought of things that I had not (did all the planning myself) and offered helpful suggestions. I am so grateful I hired Roxanne to shoot our wedding. She went above and beyond her responsibilities as photographer. I was so pleased with the final products and felt so comfortable with her that I did something I would have never thought I would would do. I hired her to photograph the birth of our first born in 2008. I don't think many couples think about the photographers working style/personality when making their decision, I know I didn't. Your wedding day, the birth of your first born... these are the most emotionally charged, intimate moments of your life. Trust me on this, you want someone that has that unique balance of professionalism and charisma.

    Roxanne did an amazing job at our wedding. We were so thrilled to work with a down-to-earth person before the wedding to review details and plan for the day itself. She understood our needs and our wishes for that special day. All of her work came out exceptional! We would recommend her for any couple who is looking forward to create perfect memories to last lifetime!
