Breathtaking Views

I am not sure what’s more magical about this place? The stillness of the trees, magnificence of the mountains, or the breathtaking views of the cliffs but it leaves you standing still in your tracks.

The most beautiful and romantic weekend we could ask for!

My husband and I had an intimate wedding at Rockfish Ranch during Valentine's Day weekend. The views were absolutely gorgeous, and we loved how everyone could stay on the property with us and have a relaxing weekend. We also loved that we could bring our dog to be a part of our special day! The hot tub and sauna were perfect for the colder weather, and we loved heading over to the brewery next door for our rehearsal dinner.

Filthy and Unresponsive

There is too much to put in a review but I'll share the highlights. It was frat house filthy when we arrived and we waited 6 hours for it to be made liveable (by no means clean). We lost the first day waiting for them to clean. We cleaned up much of the grounds before they even arrived. Still unacceptable after cleaners left. We lost the second day finishing the clean up and tracking down the manager who was supposed to set up the bridal luncheon but ended up a no show, we moved tables and used paper plates to make it work. We were all stung by yellow jackets swarming the garbage, wine/beer bottles left from previous wedding. They did not meet many of our contracted hospitality amenities (not enough tables, benches for ceremony, no dishes in kitchen, etc). The bride had a wire hanger made up in her bed, ant and lady bug infestation, smelly laundry in the washer, sticky floors, leaves and dirt in the bathroom, broken towel bars, trash in all the trash cans, crumbs in/on the sofas, burned log and ashes on the floor in front of the fireplace, etc. The management was not only unresponsive but extremely rude. One of the owners refused to help us because it was his son's 4th birthday. The other owner accused of us of not wanting to pay, keep in mind, all payments were required up front. He told us they had VIP clients the weekend before and they had a rager. They tried to take away the Polaris right before the bride was to be taken to the alter claiming we didn't have it in our contract. Yes, the bride was late to the alter. This venue is marketed as high end and priced accordingly, we communicated for months with them only to be treated as if our weekend was a surprise to them. They offered us no apologies or compensation.
