Reverend Joy Burke - Saratoga Wedding Officiant is a wedding officiant in Saratoga Springs, New York, serving the Saratoga, Albany, Troy, and Lake George regions. This award-winning officiant offers an extraordinary, personalized ceremony experience for couples of all backgrounds. Joy is a seminary-trained and ordained interfaith minister. Her passion lies in understanding how different people connect to the divine and sharing in their sacred experiences. Joy holds an interfaith, interspiritual perspective and is not aligned with any specific religious tradition. She strongly believes that all of the world’s wisdom traditions have at their core the common values of peace, tolerance, compassionate service and love for all creation.

Reverend Joy Burke has over a decade of experience working with couples of various spiritual and religious beliefs. Joy is a dedicated ally to the lgbtq community and is thrilled to officiate same-sex weddings. She delights in joining people who have found love across religious, spiritual or cultural beliefs. She works closely with each couple to create a personal, sacred and meaningful ceremony that unites them in the bonds of marriage and reflects who they are as a couple and what their commitment means to them.

Joy does not have any staff on hand. When you hire her, you get her, and once she's booked, she is no longer available. So call as soon as you have your date and location confirmed for an in-person consultation.

The wedding ceremony of your dreams - With a one-of-a-kind, bespoke wedding ceremony, unlike any you have ever witnessed. Joy will work with you over the months leading up to your wedding, to craft a ceremony that is sacred, meaningful, and truly reflective of the love you share. Joy will guide you through the process with her warmth, understanding, caring and knowledge, so that your ceremony will be flawless. Script approval is included, so there will be no unwelcome surprises!

Elegant elopement ceremonies - A lovely, meaningful ceremony without all the bells and whistles. Just the two of you and two witnesses, Monday through Friday, at Joy's beautiful converted church home in downtown Saratoga Springs or at one of our many Saratoga parks or venues.
