We had planned to go to the court house while on vacation with immediate family then have a celebration in a couple of months with family and friends, however, the magistrate was out that day and we were recommended to call Barbara. What a happy turn of events! We called Barbara and within a few hours she was at our rental house and walking with us to the beach to marry us in front of the ocean. Way better than the court house environment, especially since we could bring our dogs! She asked questions about us and catered the ceremony to us and even added some unique outer banks information that made it so special. Barbara is very warm, professional, and thorough. She fit in great with our family and was very informative on the legal process. Although Barbara's services cost more than the magistrates, she is well worth the money! She came to us and saved us 2 hours of driving as well as making my beach wedding dreams come true. Thank you for all of our thoughtful additions to the service Barbara, we are so glad we found you!

She took the time to get to know us as people by meeting with us as the wedding got close. Then she met with us again in the days before the wedding to walk us through everything and make sure it was everything we wanted. She is just a truly wonderful person and wrote us a beautiful ceremony that shared our love story with all our guests. We got so many compliments on her ceremony. She is also a total pro about making sure all of our documents were signed and turned in to the correct offices. We couldn't imagine our day without her!!

Barbara is one of the most professional and genuine individuals I have ever met. Barbara has a bubbly and real personality so it’s impossible not to like her! She was very thoughtful and open when writing our ceremony script which made the process very easy and fun. She took the time to get to know us which lead to a very personalize script. During the ceremony she spoke with pose and love. Everyone loved her speech. Barbara is efficient and was a true gift to our ceremony. I couldn't have asked for a better person to join my husband and I in marriage! Barbara was amazing! She really listened to our wants and how we wanted our ceremony to go. She was so amazing our kids even said that it felt like we knew her and we only met in person a few minutes before the ceremony.
