Hello! I am a Non-denominational Wedding Officiant and member of The Outer Banks Wedding Association, with over 15 years of experience. I am located on the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina, where I met my husband (literally ON the beach!) 31 years ago. I have had the pleasure of raising my boys and growing 2 businesses here. I was an event planner prior to officiating, so I offer each couple my extensive knowledge of vendors and activities on the Outer Banks to provide an additional special touch to your wedding festivities. I am happy to assist you in creating & personalizing a ceremony that will reflect your personality as a couple, and ensure that your special day is all that you envision. Cynthia Is The Best!

I have known Cynthia for over 30 years. She recently officiated the marriage of my daughter, Emily, and her husband, Matt. It was a beautiful ceremony that really captured their vision. Cynthia is very knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend her!

Vows in Kitty Hawk with Cynthia and a little cottage by the sea…a perfect day and a perfect life!

A huge thank you to Cynthia for a wonderful ceremony by the sea! She was super flexible and worked with us to have the low-key beach vibe wedding we wanted. She provided a lot of options and had some great suggestions. Our wedding was perfect and our marriage is going strong. We now come back to that stretch of sand annually with our two children in tow and remember where it all began. We could not be more pleased or recommend her more strongly. Thank you.

The Best!!

As a wedding planner, I have had the opportunity to work with many officiants. Cynthia was exceptional to work with and an outstanding wedding officiant. She was professional, warm, and well prepared, delivering a ceremony that was both meaningful and personal. Her calm presence and attention to detail made the entire process seamless from start to finish. I could not have asked for a better officiant for the couple’s special day.

Cynthia was a wonderful officiant!

Cynthia did a wonderful job officiating our November wedding. She worked with us to make sure our ceremony was the perfect balance of modern and spiritual. We wanted a quick ceremony and Cynthia accommodated it beautifully and it did not lack any depth. She walked us through different ways to build a ceremony that was special and unique to us. Flexible, personal, professional

Cynthia made our day perfect. We dealt with a horrible storm and were worried that we would have to cancel. She was went out of her way to make sure that our ceremony went on without a hitch. Thank you so much for everything! I would recommend her to anyone getting married in the area.

Best Officiant! ❤️❤️

Cynthia was the best officiant we had! She is great of what she does! Her words inspired me, my husband and my guests. When we have any questions, Cynthia’s response was very quick! She was very patient with us and made us feel calm since of course there was so much wedding planning to do. But she assured us in every aspect to take our time. Overall, I love Cynthia and we wish we could’ve spend more time with her! ☺️❤️

Perfect for our wedding

We had a small gathering of friends and family on the beach in Corolla! Cynthia led us through the perfect ceremony..she gave me alot of assistance in coming up with the perfect ceremony for us..she was friendly and very responsive. The cost of service was very reasonable and and she was worth that and more. My new husband and I highly recommend!

Working with Cynthia was breeze!

My husband and I picked Cynthia to marry us after communicating with her and FaceTiming to do a meet and greet. (We live in PA) She was very responsive, professional, and reassuring. We decided to book our day with Cynthia! Then in the months/weeks/days leading up to our wedding day, she worked with me to develop vows that fit our unique blended family. She was punctual and reliable. Cynthia helped to make the ceremony run smooth and efficient. So glad we hired her!

Wonderful experience

We had a very small wedding on the beach and Cynthia was absolutely perfect. She worked with us to create our own ceremony and was flexible with respect to time and location. We definitely met a friend when we met Cynthia.

Wonderful ceremony!!

Cynthia was a dream to work with!! She listened to all of our comments and molded everything into a beautiful ceremony. She sent us multiple samples and allowed us to read through and choose the bits and pieces that fit us and our relationship the best. Cynthia helped make our ceremony the one that we dreamed of and we are so thankful to her!!
