Ceremony By Cynthia has to be the greatest value for hiring a wedding officiant the Outer Banks has to offer. She is extremely flexible, very friendly and easy to communicate and work with. She never confused us, she didn't try to put any pressure on us about any of our ceremony details at all, and she was adaptable to any changes or updates that may have occurred during preparations for our event. She reached well beyond our expectations, as she helped us with securing venue locations for our ceremony and the rehearsal, and she also personalized our ceremony to ensure guests and honored loved ones were acknowledged. Her rates for services were very affordable, and I honestly believe we couldn't have sought a better person to help us manage our wedding! If they were the kind of thing you do over and over with your partner, we'd happily choose Cynthia for our officiant every time! -

Cynthia did a wonderful job officiating our November wedding. She worked with us to make sure our ceremony was the perfect balance of modern and spiritual. We wanted a quick ceremony and Cynthia accommodated it beautifully and it did not lack any depth. She walked us through different ways to build a ceremony that was special and unique to us. Perfect for our wedding
We had a small gathering of friends and family on the beach in Corolla! Cynthia led us through the perfect ceremony..she gave me alot of assistance in coming up with the perfect ceremony for us..she was friendly and very responsive. The cost of service was very reasonable and and she was worth that and more. My new husband and I highly recommend! -

My husband and I picked Cynthia to marry us after communicating with her and FaceTiming to do a meet and greet. (We live in PA) She was very responsive, professional, and reassuring. We decided to book our day with Cynthia! Then in the months/weeks/days leading up to our wedding day, she worked with me to develop vows that fit our unique blended family. She was punctual and reliable. Cynthia helped to make the ceremony run smooth and efficient. So glad we hired her! -

My wife and I decided to have a very simple, very impromptu vow renewal on the beach with just the two of us. Literally a couple days before doing it, Cynthia was able to fit us in during a very busy weekend down in Kitty Hawk. She was super helpful in more than just our ceremony, giving us resturant tips as most were pretty packed and a lot of other great suggestions to help us have an amazing weekend.
She was gave us a number of choices with the ceremony to fit us. She kept in contact the entire time and was prompt in arriving. She really did give is an amazing ceremony on the beach and made it a very special afternoon for Kelly and I. She even snapped a couple pictures for my wife and I since it was just the two of us. I would and will highly recomend her to anyone in need of an officiant for any ceremony in the outer banks. Thanks again Cynthia. -

Cynthia was truly a dream to work with! We were very anxious about the ceremony part of our wedding and weren't sure what exactly we wanted. Cynthia met with us 3 times before our wedding weekend and provided us with a ton of samples to help us craft the perfect ceremony for us. She was kind and super easy to work with. I did all my planning 10+ hour drive away in another state up north. We talked via email, phone, and text message. When speaking with her it’s like I’ve know her for years. Also I had no idea what I was doing she helped me along the way with so many other things aside from the wedding. Such as places to shop, eat, live music, you name it she suggested it for us. I am so pleased with everything! Cynthia is such a caring , kind , soft spoken women. I hope in 10 years we can hire her again to do a vow for renewal ♥️Ceremony by Cynthia's reply:

Perfect Elopement!
Cynthia was extremely kind, professional, flexible, and responsive throughout the entire process. She helped us create a personalized ceremony script for our intimate elopement and provided recommendations for location and timing. She was willing to work around the weather and helped answer all of our questions prior to the ceremony. I reached out to Cynthia to set up a surprise vow renewal for our 16th anniversary and she was able to get it coordinated and done perfectly in a 6 day span. My wife was absolutely surprised and it went exactly as she had dreamed. Cynthia not only helped with the vows renewal speech and gave us options, but also location, timing and restaurants suggestions (which were perfect as well). It was the absolute perfect ceremony and will 1000% suggest Cynthia to anyone.Ceremony by Cynthia's reply:

Cynthia made our experience feel like a walk in the park! She provided all the information we needed and asked for in a timely manner and was more than willing to accommodate our day when the weather didn’t agree with our original beach wedding plan. My wife and I feel extremely blessed to have had her be a part of our special day. She was more than willing to call us, meet in person with us, and keep all lines of communication open whenever we needed her. My wedding planner recommended Cynthia and I will be forever grateful. After the first conversation I felt instantly comfortable and happy with our decision. We planned, re-planned and ultimately conducted a small ceremony with a same-day wedding date change and Cynthia was supportive all the way through. We had drinks with her the week of our wedding and it felt like talking with an old friend. She went out of her way to make it to our wedding a day early. Seamless and Relaxing
She spoke with us prior to the ceremony and helped us develop a seamless process that was extremely comfortable to us. She accommodated all our ideas and was very flexible with concerns we had. She felt like a member of the family by the time all was said and done. -

.....When you know you are where you are meant to be with the one officiant who is designed to transform your dreams into your reality. This is exactly what Cynthia has done for us. She received our plans of elopement with only a few days notice prior to our requested ceremony date. We emailed her on Saturday evening and though she was out with friends, within minutes we received her reply.
She communicated with us regularly, ensuring that everything was exactly the way we envisioned. Cynthia offered suggestions and recommendations that added even more beauty to the most intimate moment of our lives. Cynthia’s expertise was very evident throughout the entire process leading up to and during the ceremony.

Cynthia was a delight to work with! We had a destination wedding so we were planning remotely, she was very communicative, flexible and accessible. We met her about a month prior to our wedding when we got our marriage license. She was just delightful, it was like chatting with an old friend! I just got off the phone with Cynthia & I am so excited to be booking her as our officiant for our wedding next year. I literally felt like I was talking to an old friend she’s so personable & friendly. Even though I am heterosexual I have strong beliefs in the fact that love is love regardless of gender & she is more than happy to perform same sex marriages. I believe that divorce is necessary when things aren’t working & you’ve tried to make it work- she has no issue with & doesn’t judge people who are divorced. I want the person performing our ceremony to be someone who holds similar beliefs. I am agnostic- she isn’t but took no issue with that & didn’t preach religion to me when I told her that. She even started giving me great advice on ways to save money on our multiple upcoming expenses & recommendations of great vendors since this will be a destination wedding making it difficult to know the best people & deals out there. She also said she’ll be happy to customize our vows, gave me suggestions on them & is going to send me some sample vows to help me with ideas to make it the perfect day. I can’t wait til our special day & look forward to her making our love official! -

Cynthia was our angel when my original large wedding ceremony and reception were derailed due to the coronavirus. I reached out to her just a couple weeks in advance to see if she might be willing to perform a last minute small elopement ceremony on the beach and she delivered! She was very personable and easy to talk to, and best of all she was very flexible with the date of the wedding in case of inclement weather.
