RedBookChef is a boutique catering company from Austin, Texas. This small, boutique catering team creates unique, personalized dishes for a variety of weddings throughout the Texas Hill Country. Chef Adriana has always had a passion for food. Throughout her training and professional experiences, she kept a red notebook in hand to document new ideas and concepts to enhance her craft. From there is where she and her cocktail-guru husband, Joe, developed the RedBookChef. They're excited to celebrate your love, and give you the premier catering services that are perfect for you.

Redbook Events

We just got married July 8th and let me tell you, I have zero regrets for going with Redbook Events. Their whole team was amazing! The food was just as amazing as it was at our tasting and we still have people commenting about how tasty it was! The bartender was personable and the drinks were 10/10. Adriana was a saint and a life saver! She kept us on track, coordinated beautifully and brought our dreams to reality! My husband and I forgot our dinner plates at our home (2 hours away) and we hadn’t realized until I was on my way to the ceremony! I called Adriana and she fixed the issue immediately.
The servers were on top of everything and nobody went without.
The entire event was a hit and everyone, wedding party and guests enjoyed it!

The only complaint we have is that the night ended! Undoubtedly if we have another event that needs catered or coordinated we will be going back to Redbook.

Wide Variety and Good Value for Intimate Weddings

Super responsive, and accommodating. We fed vegans, meat and potatoes types, foodies, kids, people with wheat/onion allergies and received glowing reviews from all of our guests. Service was excellent despite the fact they were short-staffed due to COVID-running at 65% of plan.

It was 31$ per each of the 50 adult meals and $8.50 for each of 14 kids meals. Service cost is separate and in various types so is your decision for place settings. We chose family style to avoid lines/compulsion to have items/seat chosen

Callie was super helpful in helping us plan the best decor that suited our vision for table layout. We were able to test the menu and select from a wide range of options. Like the best merchants, they give you room to decide and take your time to decide if they are the best match for you. I took a few weeks to decide.

It is good they let you buy the alcohol for the event yourself as our taste was different from theirs, even if the type of wine was correct. Test any suggestions; the best wine for you is the one you enjoy.

5 Star Service and Attention

We hired Adriana and her team for the rehearsal boat event on Lake Austin and the wedding at Villa Antonia and I can say nothing but amazing things. She is professional, energetic, dependable, hard working, detail oriented and works to make everything seamless for your perfect day. I mostly loved how she managed the day of the events. Everyone felt so comfortable as she guided the entire wedding party, and provided personal attention through the process on the day of the event. Our venue and the surrounding region even lost power for a few hours and the staff didn't miss a beat. The venue was beautiful, the food delicious, and the wedding was magical. Even though we had her for only the weekend, we felt like she had planned the entire event. Thank you Adriana for such a beautiful weekend for my son and daughter in law.

Top Notch Vendor

From the very get-go, we knew we were in good hands with Red Book Chef! Adriana, Joe, and the RBC team were so incredibly helpful, flexible, and innovative when it came to our planning our big day. From their level of expertise and professionalism to their amazing cocktails to their stunning table-scapes, we appreciated every detail that went into it. What we loved most about RBC was that they were a one-stop-shop for all of our wedding needs. If you’re looking for a vendor who can cater your wedding, do bar service, coordinate your wedding, and handle your rentals, RBC is the one for you!

Flexibility and Care

Red Book Chef made us feel calm and taken care of from the beginning. We had spoken with several caterers prior, and Red Book Chef brought an incredible energy and flexibility that couldn’t be matched by others. We also made the decision to postpone our date from 2020, and even made some minor adjustments as we approached the new date, and they were so easy, flexible, and understanding to work with (and the food was awesome, highly recommended the donut station if you can).

Hire Red Book Chef for your wedding or event!

Red Book Chef was recommended by our amazing wedding planner and we couldn't be happier. Adriana worked with us to develop our brunch menu and even customized a few of their options to match our tastes. She was very responsive to several questions, and helped recommend the best wines to match with their mimosa and sangria mixers. The tasting was so great and the team was very interested in getting our feedback and ready to make adjustments (none were needed!). The service was awesome; the bartender and wait staff were very attentive and professional. We received a ton of compliments on the food from our guests as well.

Perfection

This is by far the best catering company ever. Adriana completely knocked it out of the park! I just told her what we wanted and she brought it to life, and was able to stay in my budget! Super friendly staff and fantastic food! Had lots of compliments from guests! I would give them a perfect 10! Thank you for making my daughters wedding incredible!

Hats off to the Red Book Chef!

We had such a great experience working with Adriana and the team at Red Book. We selected them to cater our wedding, and had such a great experience at our tasting that we also asked Adriana to be our day-of coordinator. Red Book helped us design our perfect brunch wedding menu, and helped us reimagine the seasonal touches on the menu when our wedding moved from spring to fall due to COVID. Our guest loved the food and the Red Book team, and Adriana helped the day go off without a hitch - we cannot thank them enough!

Simply the best!
