Super responsive, and accommodating. We fed vegans, meat and potatoes types, foodies, kids, people with wheat/onion allergies and received glowing reviews from all of our guests. Service was excellent despite the fact they were short-staffed due to COVID-running at 65% of plan.
It was 31$ per each of the 50 adult meals and $8.50 for each of 14 kids meals. Service cost is separate and in various types so is your decision for place settings. We chose family style to avoid lines/compulsion to have items/seat chosen
Callie was super helpful in helping us plan the best decor that suited our vision for table layout. We were able to test the menu and select from a wide range of options. Like the best merchants, they give you room to decide and take your time to decide if they are the best match for you. I took a few weeks to decide.
It is good they let you buy the alcohol for the event yourself as our taste was different from theirs, even if the type of wine was correct. Test any suggestions; the best wine for you is the one you enjoy. -

From the very get-go, we knew we were in good hands with Red Book Chef! Adriana, Joe, and the RBC team were so incredibly helpful, flexible, and innovative when it came to our planning our big day. From their level of expertise and professionalism to their amazing cocktails to their stunning table-scapes, we appreciated every detail that went into it. What we loved most about RBC was that they were a one-stop-shop for all of our wedding needs. If you’re looking for a vendor who can cater your wedding, do bar service, coordinate your wedding, and handle your rentals, RBC is the one for you! -

Red Book Chef made us feel calm and taken care of from the beginning. We had spoken with several caterers prior, and Red Book Chef brought an incredible energy and flexibility that couldn’t be matched by others. We also made the decision to postpone our date from 2020, and even made some minor adjustments as we approached the new date, and they were so easy, flexible, and understanding to work with (and the food was awesome, highly recommended the donut station if you can). -

We had such a great experience working with Adriana and the team at Red Book. We selected them to cater our wedding, and had such a great experience at our tasting that we also asked Adriana to be our day-of coordinator. Red Book helped us design our perfect brunch wedding menu, and helped us reimagine the seasonal touches on the menu when our wedding moved from spring to fall due to COVID. Our guest loved the food and the Red Book team, and Adriana helped the day go off without a hitch - we cannot thank them enough! -

Red Book Chef was so easy to talk to and created a personal menu for us by tweaking what they offered on their menu. *They actually understand Celiac Disease* and how serious it needs to be taken unlike other places I looked at where they didn't act as confident or uneducated on how easily gluten transfers. They were a blessing to work with during the worst part of COVID, and they came and interacted with us during the wedding like a guest! And oh my goodness the bartender. I had to post our signature drink ingredients on my facebook because EVERYONE asked what it was and how to make it. -

The food at my reception was to die for! Soooo many guests asked me if I could share their contact information because they had never had such great wedding food! Adriana and her husband were a delight to work with. The food options, the option to customize, the food tasting.. Everything was great with them! Truly awesome people :) -

There’s not enough I can say about Adriana and the RBC team! They were beyond incredible! I tried several different caterers and was so disappointed by the food. Adriana can COOK! Her food is so flavorful and the meats are juicy and delicious! She is so flexible and willing to work with every request you have no matter how big! She’s also so knowledgeable that she can really guide you on things that you may not have even thought of. I used RBC for catering and wedding coordination services and I knew the day of that I had NOTHING to worry about. My guests went on and on about how wonderful and kind and gracious and over-the-top accommodating Adriana and her team were. The bartender really made it a fun night for the guests. They were organized and paid attention to the little details! They are selfless with their time and willing to do whatever it takes to give you the wedding of their dreams. Makes me want to host a party JUST so I can ask them to cater. They are simply the best! -

From planning an coordinating our menu and services, to helping out on the day of, I could not have picked anyone else I'd rather have helped on our wedding day. Their bartending services were at our wedding as well, and all of their servers/bartenders were amazing to work with. And the best part, of course, was that their food was amazing! I can't recommend them enough -

Its owners always thought one step ahead in everything: at the bridal extravaganza, they were the one vendor who brought in water and lemonade for people to drink. At our wedding venue's open house, they allowed you to decide on whatever you wanted on your mac n cheese dish, which was tasty and hearty. On our wedding day, they provided snacks for our wedding party to eat during the day while we all prepared. And at the wedding itself, they kept us hydrated and let all the main dishes be on the dinner table during dinner service. They were also able to serve specialized meals to those who had dietary restrictions. Everyone we talked to afterwards told us they enjoyed their meals, and the food was delicious! -
Zurisadai Sent on 02/27/2018One of the main reasons I chose RedBook Chef was because of them being customizable, flexible, and understanding of the wedding stress. I cannot stress enough to brides that it is important to be able to customize what you want and feel comfortable enough to have open communication with your vendors. Adriana and her husband were so kind, understanding and flexible. It was a great blessing to me and I received so many compliments on my food ( even with the fear of my guests not liking a meat option) they made it to where it was not even mentioned but rather complimenting it. You guys are the best and made my wedding food and service amazing. Thank you! ( I heard later on that they were helpful in setting up things... they went over and beyond)

Bar was FANTASTIC. I was extremely set on family style, and although I wouldn’t ever say catering is cheap, their quote was lower than most other family style catering proposals. The level of detail and care that Adriana put into our tasting (both food and beverage) was incredible. During the tasting, everything tasted phenomenal. A few negatives - Their response time is very slow and can miss things over email. There were many tables that felt they didn’t get enough food, even though less than my guest count showed up. I paid for 122 guests, and approximately 114 showed up, and several guests said they were not full afterwards. Presentation was a bit sloppy as well. But, tasted very good. We loved the mini pies. Pretty amazing bar service from them - awesome bartenders. I would say 5 star to liquor service. -

Play settings were missing knives. The wrong color cups were put on the table and not all tables were uniform. I was told at the tasting that chargers were included in my package, but then there were no chargers on the table and then I was told I was mistaken. The portion sizes were very small had numerous complaints from my guests. Took forever for them to cut the cake and pass it out. When I emailed to discuss my issues they took no accountability. -
