The Rand-Bryan House is a rustic yet elegant wedding venue located in Garner, North Carolina. We offer our historic 19th-century home, scenic porch, and picturesque grounds for both your ceremony and reception. Situated 20 minutes from downtown Raleigh, our rural 135-acre farm is great for hosting both intimate gatherings and grand affairs. At the Rand-Bryan House, we are all about flexibility and we look forward to bringing your unique vision to life!
Facilities and Capacity
Couples can accommodate up to 150 guests at this scenic venue. For your ceremony, you can say your “I do's” in our beautiful, intimate garden or spacious side yard. Native trees and blooming bushes surround the house and provide a relaxing, picturesque southern setting for your cocktail hour. Your guests can enjoy the lush green grass as you dance the night away under the stars. Host your reception inside the house, on the front lawn, or under a tent surrounded by evergreens. The Rand-Bryan House also has a romantic wrap-around porch, perfect for cocktail hour, mingling with guests, or simply sitting in a rocking chair to enjoy a beautiful evening. If you prefer an indoor event, our beautiful historic house, built in 1871, is perfect. It features hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and an abundance of natural light. You can exchange your vows in our sunroom for a romantic and intimate ceremony, then we will convert the space to get the party started for your reception.
Services Offered
Our venue offers multiple wedding packages to accommodate a variety of budgets and tastes. We allow plenty of flexibility so that you can personalize your wedding to fit your style. Although we do not require you to choose from a pre-set vendor list, we are happy to provide recommendations for outstanding vendors who are familiar with the space. Our on-site preparation suite is perfect for those special photos while you get ready with your wedding party. Each package allows you full access to the entire house, extensive grounds, and parking lot. Caterers will have full access to the kitchen to take care of all of your culinary needs. Your choice of tables, chairs, linens, and tableware are available in packages, while tents are available at an additional charge.

Not only is the Rand-Byran House a beautiful venue with multiple options for a ceremony or reception, it's owners are top notch! Martha Liles, owner/manager of the venue, is organized and cares about the details. As a planner, I want the best for my couples- and this venue delivered. Martha worked with me to ensure the floor plan for my couple's reception was executed perfectly. She made suggestions on how to best utilize the reception space and gave advice on cocktail hour setup. In addition, she helped me coordinate a surprise carriage ride for the couple during the cocktail hour. Mr. Robert Liles was on site the day of the reception for questions, assistance with table moves, and as an additional contact for our reception vendors. In addition, Mrs. Wanda was on site to assist with any details- even lending a hand with the lighting of multiple tea lights and votives to bring the event space to life. Having held numerous events at the venue, Martha has worked with many vendors. When one of our vendors dropped out last minute, Martha recommended credible businesses that she worked with during past events. While we were able to work though the vendor issue, it was comforting to know Martha was just as concerned as I was about my couple not just liking, but loving their reception. I would definitely recommend this venue to couples looking for a wedding venue.Rand-Bryan House's reply:
