My fiancé and I had our wedding shower-type event here and it was so lovely! The big windows in the main room and the light-colored interior make for an amazing canvas, the venue's tables and chairs made our lives so easy (since we didn't have to rent them), the flow of indoor and outdoor spaces was awesome for guests to mingle where they pleased, and Heather (the venue manager) was amazing to work with. She was a big help and already had our tables and chairs set up before we arrived, and she is just in general a fun person to be around and talk to! We definitely had a great experience for a great value, and we'd recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful and affordable venue
The Rand-Bryan house was the perfect place for our wedding! We wanted to keep it simple and within a reasonable budget, yet have a pretty and photo-perfect day and this venue delivered. Martha was great at answering my many questions and gave my info and recommendations on things I hadn't even thought of. She even helped coordinate the day of the wedding and we wouldn't have made it all come together without her. I'm so thankful to have so may wonderful memories of that day and it all started with this venue!

Beautiful grounds
The venue was everything that I thought it could be. We had a small inimate wedding and the venue was perfect. We had a beautiful ceremony outside and a small reception inside. There were great places to picture and our guests loved the grounds. Martha was great and incredibly flexible.

We had a beautiful wedding with this venue. During the midst of a pandemic, Martha was incredibly helpful in assisting us in doing whatever it took to make our big day as perfect as possible, which way ended up being to have our ceremony in 2020, and to have our reception a year later! Both events were perfect, and both were everything we could have asked for! This venue is perfect for DIY people, and people who want a beautiful space to decorate the way they want to! I made my own center pieces for the tables that the venue provided, and decorated with other floral arrangements around the place. It's a beautiful property that was big enough, and not too big to feel lonely, for our smaller guest count of nearly 50. I'd recommend this venue to other creative couples! The sun shines through nicely through the windows into the house and the plants outside are gorgeous, too!

Rand Bryan House Exceeded Expectations
Rand-Bryan House is a beautifully landscaped and decorated historical house perfect for a variety of wedding sizes and styles. Like so many others during this day of Covid 19, we changed our minds about almost every aspect of the wedding. Our constant was our venue. The owner helped us work out everything. She was always ready to help, even offering answers to questions we hadn’t thought of. She offered recommendations and was always quick to respond when we reached out. There are so many ways to set up for an indoor or outdoor event. So many of our guests and vendors commented on the beauty of this house and its landscape. They have thought of everything to make your day special and seamless.

Beautiful, intimate venue!
This venue was perfect for my daughter’s small-ish wedding. Weather kept us from using any of the beautiful outdoor spaces (disappointing), but Martha was able to seamlessly flip the indoor spaces between ceremony and reception and it turned out beautifully! She was such a pleasure to work with and had great recommendations for a caterer and florist. Would definitely recommend the Rand-Bryan!

A day to remember!
The Rand-Bryan house was a perfect choice for us in deciding on a venue for our wedding. We were looking for a more intimate and green space that had beautiful options both outside and inside. We actually had some spotty rain during the day of and decided to move the ceremony inside while keeping the reception outside under the covered tent. Martha and Audrey helped us transition inside smoothly and efficiently, keeping our nerves down and keeping us on schedule. It definitely helps that the inside facilities at Rand-Bryan are just as beautiful as the outside landscape. Despite the complications and last minute change-ups, we were incredibly happy with how everything turned out! Highly recommend considering Rand-Bryan for your special day.

Just perfect!
We moved to North Carolina in March 2020 and were married at Rand Bryan House June 19, 2021. We knew no one here to get referrals from and we’re planning our wedding during the pandemic. Which added additional challenges of course. We visited 3 other venues recommended from the wedding websites prior to visiting here. When we met with Martha and her daughter, we just knew that was the place for us. We wanted an elegant, yet simple ceremony and reception (we are not big ballroom type of people). Her property is so beautiful and we could not say enough great things about Martha. She answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly, and believe me I had a lot of them being a first time bride. She met with us on several occasions to help us walk through what our perfect day would look like. Martha is gracious, kind, patient, personable and very experienced. Since we were new to North Carolina, she gave us recommendations for our caterer, rental company, bartending service, florist and Photographer. All of these vendors we picked through her recommendations and we’re more than pleased with. Everything about our day went perfect and we owe this to her! She jumped in on every aspect about the day from the start of planning, all the way through the cleanup after the reception. There was never a doubt that we knew we picked the right place and would recommend her to anyone. We will forever be grateful to Martha for making our special day so perfect.

Perfect Wedding Venue!
The Rand Bryan House was the perfect atmosphere for our ceremony. We were looking for rustic elegance and found that and more here. The grounds are beautiful, warm and welcoming and the home inside is as equally pleasing. Most important was how helpful the owner was from start to finish. Martha kept an eye on details and was very responsive to our barrage of questions particularly when Covid interrupted our plans. She and Audrey were very flexible and helped create a very special and intimate ceremony, despite Covid and a monsoon on our wedding day. We would highly recommend the Rand Bryan House!

Excellent service and flexibility!
My husband and I can't speak more highly of the everyone at the Rand-Bryan House! COVID-19 forced us to revamp our entire wedding plan and Martha helped us every step of the way to make those changes as painless and seamless as possible. She gave us plenty of options to choose how we wanted to proceed and guided us in that decision-making. We were able to have a beautiful, socially distanced small wedding on the gorgeous property on our original day and are looking forward to being able to have our larger party/reception there next year!

Audrey and Martha were nothing short of amazing while helping us plan our big day amid a pandemic. While we weren't able to hold the large event we had planned, we were more than catered to ensuring we still had our special day. We couldn't be more grateful for the professionalism and support we received throughout the entire process. Our experience with The Rand-Bryan House began when our original indoor wedding venue cancelled due to the pandemic. We were two months out from our wedding date and were scrambling to find an outdoor venue that was available on the date we already had set and was still within our budget. My mom came across Rand-Bryan and by some miracle, they had our date available! After our first walk-through, we knew it would be a perfect fit. The house is beautiful, but what really struck us was the vast open fields surrounding it and Martha! The venue owner/coordinator, Martha, was so sweet and extremely helpful throughout the entire process of re-planning our entire wedding in such a short amount of time. She helped guide us through various options and provided recommendations for rentals, catering, and helped us find an available officiant when ours was no longer available. Not only did Martha help us re-plan once, but TWICE! The day before our wedding we had to make adjustments again but she helped us navigate our options, was responsive and provided solutions for us to safely hold our wedding. We are so thankful to have worked with Martha and would do so again in a heartbeat!! We ended up having a very small wedding ceremony with only a few of our closest friends and family and even though it was not what we originally planned it was gorgeous thanks to Martha, The Rand-Bryan House, and our other vendors. Book with The Rand-Bryan House - you will NOT regret it!

Not only is the Rand-Byran House a beautiful venue with multiple options for a ceremony or reception, it's owners are top notch! Martha Liles, owner/manager of the venue, is organized and cares about the details. As a planner, I want the best for my couples- and this venue delivered. Martha worked with me to ensure the floor plan for my couple's reception was executed perfectly. She made suggestions on how to best utilize the reception space and gave advice on cocktail hour setup. In addition, she helped me coordinate a surprise carriage ride for the couple during the cocktail hour. Mr. Robert Liles was on site the day of the reception for questions, assistance with table moves, and as an additional contact for our reception vendors. In addition, Mrs. Wanda was on site to assist with any details- even lending a hand with the lighting of multiple tea lights and votives to bring the event space to life. Having held numerous events at the venue, Martha has worked with many vendors. When one of our vendors dropped out last minute, Martha recommended credible businesses that she worked with during past events. While we were able to work though the vendor issue, it was comforting to know Martha was just as concerned as I was about my couple not just liking, but loving their reception. I would definitely recommend this venue to couples looking for a wedding venue.

Perfect Day
We had set our eyes on The Rand-Bryan House many years ago. Never imagined the day that our dream venue would actually come true. We hosted an intimate wedding reception for about 80 people and (about 60 showed) It was perfect! Magical and a romantic atmosphere! Our family and friends loved the breathtaking grounds. The kids enjoyed running around the lawns outside being kids, taking in the night sky and the string lights surrounding the windows with the beautiful view. Guests enjoyed the wrap around porch and the rocking chairs. Mrs. Martha (the owner) was amazing and a pleasure to work with. We were able to stay within our budget because she allowed us much flexibility. We were able to make it very personal to us, by being able to choose our own caterer and other vendors. Unlike other venues that are more restrictive. It was a perfect fall day. Writing this makes me emotional, remembering how beautiful of a day it was! Everything was breathtaking! We received so many compliments, during and after the wedding day. We are so happy our family and friends enjoyed themselves! Ms. Martha and her staff were so kind and always willing to help with anything they could before, during and after the date. Absolutely the perfect place for a wedding or any special event
We would absolutely recommend the Rand-Bryan House for your wedding or event location. This was the first location I found online in the area when researching online, but looked at a couple of different options (everyone said to look at least a few places) before deciding to go visit this particular location in person. I am so glad we visited and decided to have our wedding at this venue. It is so beautiful and has plenty of charm. The natural beauty outside and multiple spaces you could hold the ceremony and reception were a plus and Martha, the owner, sealed the deal for us as she was incredibly helpful from day one through the conclusion of the reception. Her and her daughter, Audrey, were professional, welcoming, helpful, and truly a pleasure to work with. You can not beat the value you get with this location. We got so lucky with a venue that went above and beyond throughout the planning, rehearsal, and wedding day process as they made sure to assist with decorating, directing, and welcoming guests and vendors. Stunning Venue, Wonderful People
We are so happy we chose the Rand-Bryan House for our wedding celebration. It was the perfect venue for our special day! From the initial talks when we were visiting multiple venues, to the actual day, Martha was excellent in providing us with all the necessary information and helping to make sure our day went off without a hitch. We had an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception so that we could take advantage of the many, many beautiful locations this venue has to offer. We were able to choose our own vendors, and Martha also had multiple “extras” available that we were able to take advantage of for decorating and fun during the reception. The staff at Rand-Bryan were all very detail-oriented and they truly cared about making sure our day was everything we wanted it to be. We took pictures all over the property and they turned out so amazing! This is an absolutely stunning venue with wonderful staff, and my husband and I believe it should be on your list to visit and see for yourself! You will not be disappointed!

We were so happy with the rand bryan house. I only wanted to look at one venue that fit what I wanted: century home with southern charm that had beautiful outdoor space. I knew when we visited that it was the perfect venue. Martha was great from the beginning and helped with a quick response anytime we had a question. We were allowed to have our dog in the wedding and when the rain came, she and her daughter wiped down the dancefloor so we could use it. Never would have used another venue! I wish I could live in that house!

Spring wedding
The Rand -Bryan House is the perfect elegant Southern/Country wedding venue. The owner, Martha, was very responsive to emails and was willing to meet with me and my husband one weekend, as well as my parents another weekend, who traveled from out of town to see the venue. She will answer any questions a new bride may have. She also had a list of recommended vendors that I used (rentals/DJ/caterers) . The grounds and house are beautiful. The photographer took many great pictures outside near the barn, and the dining room is beautiful the way it is, no need for many extra decorations! This is a great outdoor-indoor wedding venue.

Country Wedding in the City
Who knew that you could have a country wedding in the city? Finding Rand-Bryan House (RBH) was such a nice surprise! The venue is beautiful and the grounds are well kept. Martha, the owner, was so helpful with guiding us on some of the decision making along the way. Our wedding was on Memorial Day weekend and temperatures soared into the upper 90s. We still got married outside, but it was nice that after the ceremony guests could go inside to cool off when they needed to. I would highly recommend RBH to anyone looking to have an "out in the country" feel to their special event.

My husband and I wanted a venue that reflected our lifestyle/interests, allowed us to use our own vendors and would accommodate 115 guests. We are beyond grateful we chose The Rand-Bryan House and was able to work with the owner, Martha, for planning and executing our wedding.
From day one Martha was punctual and responded quickly to our emails. She was upfront with all the expectations that came along renting the home, including allowing us nearly free-reign to decorate inside and outside. This meant we were able to turn the house into our dream wedding! Martha’s team helped coordinate and navigate the planning process alongside other vendors, including our catering, bartending, day-of coordinating, DJ and photography. The whole process was seamless!

A beautiful venue for any occasion!
From the first time we met Martha and saw the Rand-Bryan House to the final day, we were impressed! The house and grounds are lovely and very private and perfect for the size of group we planned for our 50th anniversary. Martha was very personable and accomodating for our questions and needs and was present for the six hours of our celebration, in case a need arose. She also recommended our wonderful caterer, who we were thrilled with. We would definitely use the Rand-Bryan House for an event in the future---maybe a granddaughter??

Wonderful Experience
Martha Liles was very helpful in helping set up for my daughters wedding. I planned it myself with her help and our photographer. They are very flexible in the hours that you need for rehearsal, photos, set-up, wedding and the clean up. It was very beautiful for the ceremony and they were very accommodating with my needs. I highly recommend the Rand Bryan House.

If your looking for venues stop...this is where you need to go!!! Very responsive, helpful, and friendly staff!! The owner is very knowledgable about set up and the best ways to do things to make your wedding look wonderful! The place itself is gorgeous! I could not have been happier! We did our wedding at the end of November and the Christmas tree, decorations, and lights were up and it was so beautiful!!

Wonderful experience

I grew up in California, so I was excited to have my wedding in a traditional southern setting. The venue is gorgeous! Scenic landscapes, gorgeous indoor event space, and beautiful wrap-around porch. I always wanted my wedding in a naturally beautiful place, and this was it! Martha was a joy to work with. So helpful! She has wonderful suggestions about how to execute your wedding dreams. It stormed the day of my wedding leaving the grass soaked. We decided to move the outdoor ceremony inside. It was still absolutely gorgeous and everyone was comfortable, cool and dry! The venue is a 15 minute drive from downtown Raleigh. Convenient for an afterparty! We had a beautiful day filled with love, joy, and fun. Thank you!

This venue gave us the perfect atmosphere for our intimate wedding. We loved the old feel of the house mixed with elegant decor, and the spacious and breathtaking grounds.
More than just the venue, the owner, Martha, was endlessly patient and accommodating. Her communication was prompt and thorough, and she brought her industry expertise to the table to help us to make the best logistic and vendors decisions for our guests.

The Rand-Bryan was perfect for our wedding/reception. The house is beautiful and spacious, and the property is pristine. The owner, Martha, was so easy to work with. She made us feel like family and was there for us every step of the way during logistics planning.
Compared to the other venues we visited, this was the most beautiful and most affordable option in the area. We are absolutely thrilled with the way everything looked on our big day.

Martha at Rand Bryan House was unbelievably helpful with our wedding! From the minute we met with her the first time until the wedding was over, everything was organized! Martha recommended wonderful vendors to work with in terms of bartender, caterer and events rentals and everyone was also equally wonderful. Our guests commented over and over on how great the reception venue was and I could NOT have asked for a more perfect day!

The Rand Bryan house was the perfect choice for our wedding! Martha (the owner) is so friendly and professional, and adds a personal touch to the venue as it was her childhood home. She took a genuine interest in our plans and details, and it is clear that she enjoys all the details that each person brings to every event at her venue. The house is beautiful and meticulously kept indoors and out. Our day turned out to be cold, but there was no problem switching our plans and holding both the ceremony and reception inside. The sunroom was gorgeous even on a cloudy day, and provided wonderful light for photographs. We could not have been more pleased!

I had a beautiful wedding here last weekend, and Martha is the best to work with! She is very lenient with letting you have any type of wedding you would like, the options are limitless! The venue is beautiful, and there are so many spots you can party- in the beautiful sun room, the covered, walk around porch, in a huge field, or a secluded garden ceremony. I wanted to do our ceremony in the front yard garden but it rained and having to have it inside was still gorgeous! And it is so nice to have a plan B that is almost as nice as plan A!
As far as working with Martha, she will let you choose your own caterer, florist, etc... many places require you to use specific vendors- not here! However she will provide you a list of vendors she recommends if you would like.
Not only is the location gorgeous, but the best part about it is that we were aloud to have our dog there! That meant a lot to us, and was actually the nail in the coffin when it came to choosing a venue (although I already had my mind made up when I asked!) Our dog is part of the family, and we are so happy to finally find a venue where she was welcome.
I highly recommend this venue and working with Martha is wonderful!

First, Martha is GREAT. Our event was a rehearsal dinner ~ 50 guests. Great venue with indoor and outdoor space. Indoor space included a private sitting room where the bride and groom presented gifts to wedding party, a large foyer and entry, and ball room which easily sat 50 with additional ~1,000 sq. ft. of dance area. Buffet (cater) was set in a large room that adjoined the outdoor decks AND ball room! Now to the outside!!! Wrap around porch and shaded lawns allowed guests to spread out (we had GREAT weather). Rocking chairs included!! Parking is extensive and "formal" look in front of house lawns as you drive up. All catering vehicles park behind house so pictures are very nice. One more note about Martha! She recommended Caffe' Luna as the caterer. Great choice and they do many functions at the property and thus know the set up. We were thrilled!!

We had our wedding at the Rand-Bryan house this year. The main thing that sold us on the house other than its beauty was Martha. Martha worked with us and gave great advice. She allowed us to see the house a couple of times to see how we wanted things set up. She even came to the rehearsal to see if we needed anything. She also gave a helping hand with out hesitation. If I could do it all over again, I would do the Rand-Bryan house again! The house is beautiful, simple, with southern charm!

Martha was wonderful to work with, the venue was gorgeous, and it was very well priced. There are indoor and outdoor areas that are perfect for the reception or ceremony. The venue is on acres of private farmland that are quiet and peaceful. I couldn't have asked for anything more. My only recommendation is that you have the wedding ceremony outside if your party is much more than 80 people. The Rand Bryan is the perfect location for a country/rustic wedding of your dreams!

This was such a beautiful venue! I am very glad I had the opportunity to have my wedding ceremony and reception in a place that truly values their customers. I wanted something with both a beautiful scenery inside and outside, and this was PERFECT! The staff was always very flexible and willing to meet at any point during the whole planning process. The Rand-Bryan House was the perfect venue for my fiancé & I. Martha was so easy to work with, she was very reassuring about all my fears, she never got frustrated with all of my questions, she made suggestions that were crucial to our day, and she was so helpful throughout the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception!
The inside of the Rand-Bryan House is simple but gorgeous which is what we loved about it. We really didn't need much decoration at all for the ceremony! We used the field out back for the reception tent and it was beautiful! The landscaping around the Rand-Bryan House is absolutely gorgeous (a photographers dream!) there are seemingly endless options for ceremony/reception sites and photos!
We had the perfect wedding and The Rand-Bryan House was the perfect venue! Thank you so much Martha for everything!

The Rand-Bryan House and property are absolutely beautiful! We had our ceremony outside under a tent (rain was threatening), cocktail hour in the garden and on the porch, and reception inside. The Rand-Bryan House was the perfect location for my June dream wedding. The natural landscape provided a beautiful back-drop for an outdoor wedding. We had a vintage-themed wedding with colors of ivory, sage green, and plum. The large windows of the house created a romantic and open atmosphere for an indoor reception. The colors and curtains inside of the house matched perfectly with our decorations and were neutral enough that they would complement any color scheme. Martha was extremely helpful with initial planning, questions along the way via text and e-mail, last-minute details with vendors, and our final needs to see the house before the big day. It was overall an incredible experience, and the pictures turned out absolutely gorgeous so we can remember it for years to come!

Rand Bryan was a beautiful spot for our wedding. We wanted a child friendly place that was still beautiful and charming. The outside provided spots for the bar on the porch and the extensive grounds for pictures and the children to play.
Martha, the manager, saved the day by providing linens, which apparently my caterer had thought I was providing. She was cool and calm, and very kind. Just the person you need around when a big bump appears in the day!
I recommend this venue for it's flexibility, charm, and ease. We had a lovely day!

The Rand Bryan House is absolutely perfect for your intimate wedding with friends and family! I had my wedding and reception inside the house as it was late and November and it was beautiful. The porch is perfect for cocktail hour and we even brought in heaters to go on the porch and grass since it was calling for some chilly weather! The grounds are gorgeous, the house lovely, and the owner, Martha - great to work with! We booked this venue early in the year and Martha was so gracious answering all of our emails and questions for months leading up to the wedding. Martha lets you bring in any vendors you want which isn't always the case at many venues. She is there every step of the way offering advice when you need it in any area. My family and friends loved the intimate space to celebrate, yet we still felt we had plenty of space in all the rooms combined with the beautiful backdrop of the farm, pastures, and Christmas trees. You will not regret holding your special event at the Rand Bryan House!

The venue was wonderful. The house has been updated and turned into a truly beautiful place to have a wedding. Due to the weather, we had the wedding inside and it could not have been any more beautiful. The main room of the house has one end that is all windows which allowed great views of the weather and the beautiful surroundings. Martha, the owner and staff, was wonderful and so easy to work with throughout our planning and implementation. She offered suggestions and pitched in to help when needed. It was a wonderful overall experience for the wedding.

We wanted one location for our wedding and reception, and hoped for a beautiful garden, a sunlit reception room, hardwood floors and a place to get ready. The Rand-Bryan House delivered on all fronts. We had an outdoor wedding, cocktail hour on the porch and indoor reception. It was just as I had imagined! The grounds are beautiful and we were able to use the entire space for photos, lawn games and mingling. Our guests loved the venue and felt right at home. It was just the right size for our intimate gathering. Martha was so easy to work with - she really made it an enjoyable experience. I reached out to her a lot with questions, recommendations or requests to visit and she also available, friendly and helpful. Being able to use my own caterer was a must and I loved the freedom in choosing vendors this space provides (Note to brides: It's a blank canvas so you will need to rent/bring in everything you need for the day - keep this in mind when comparing spaces). I would recommend the Rand-Bryan House to anyone wanting a lovely space for bringing their vision to light. I look forward to renting this space again in the future!

We recently had our wedding at the Rand-Bryan House and would definitely recommend it! Martha, the owner, was great to work with and always accommodating if we needed to come by or do a site visit with a vendor. They keep the house and the grounds very clean and beautifully manicured, but it's not fussy or formal feeling, which is exactly what we wanted. There's also lots of flexibility for different spaces to use (both indoor and outdoor) for the ceremony, cocktails, reception, and photos. We also liked that we could use any vendors we wanted for catering, etc. They are comparably priced to other similar venues especially for the amount of time and space you get. Overall we had a great experience!

The Rand-Bryan House had everything we were looking for for our wedding! Beautiful house and grounds made for a picture perfect day and Martha was there every step of the way to offer assistance and support!

This was a wonderful find amidst a sea of mediocrity. Martha was delightful to work with throughout the planning, the actual event and the aftermath. The Rand-Bryan House is a beautiful setting for virtually any event where one wants "just the right place" to bring their guests together. Martha provided support throughout the process, including advice with caterers (her recommendations were top notch), suggestions about setup, and prompt communication at every turn. I can't say enough about this experience and this venue. Thank you, dear Martha, for sharing this delightful oasis!

Martha was amazing and the venue was outstanding. Everything was so clean and ready for us to set up. Very flexible with all of our needs and always on top of it all. It rained during our outdoor ceremony and it still turned out perfect. Martha was so patient and helpful during the entire process and never got tired of my endless amount of questions :) We can't wait to go back and get our Christmas tree there for our first year as a married couple!

Our daughter's wedding was there and we planned it from out of town. From the moment we met Martha and walked onto the property until we drove off after the wedding, we were 100% satisfied. The venue is beautiful, the cost is reasonable, and the small staff
is personable!

The Rand Bryan house was perfect for our wedding reception. We had about 110 guests seated around 17 tables for 6 and one sweetheart table. This venue provided an intimate setting that was perfect for this size wedding. Martha was very helpful and allowed us to decorate exactly how we wanted.

The Rand Bryan House is a wonderful venue for a small to medium size wedding! We had approximately 45 guests and fit comfortably with room for more. We held both our ceremony and our reception in the same location. Martha the owner is extremely helpful when making decisions and planning the event. There are many flexible options for pricing as well as how you would like to utilize the facility. The guests complimented on the facility and I loved having a beautiful bridal room to get ready in. I would definitely recommend this venue for indoor or outdoor options for weddings or any party!

My husband and I wanted to host a kid-friendly wedding reception where we could invite literally EVERYONE we wanted to have there, and the Rand-Bryan House was the perfect place for us to host our event. Even with nearly 300 people invited (about 170-175 showed), we were still able to be within our budget because Martha allowed us much flexibility. We were also able to make it very personal to us, by choosing our own caterer, providing our own desserts (my family's specialty), providing craft beers from North Carolina to impress our guests from up North, and ourselves bringing a variety of wines from NY to show off. We were able to hire our own bartenders and servers (Tom's Bartending, which we highly recommend!) to serve the food and drink we were providing; all of this kept our costs much lower than they would have been at other venues that are more restrictive. The perfect weather that day was just the icing on the cake - we set up a kids' section on an area of lawn that was a huge hit. We received so many compliments, which feels awesome because you always want your guests to enjoy the day with you!

The Rand Bryan House was the absolute perfect place for us to have our wedding. The inside of the house is gorgeous with the giant window that let in plenty of light. There are two wonderful outside choices as well, and being near a Christmas tree farm was the icing on the cake. Martha was a dream to work with. She was so helpful throughout the whole process, kind, knowledgeable, and always willing to recommend a vendor to us when we were lost. She was also wonderful throughout the night of the wedding - I cannot tell you how many of my guests came up to me and said they were so impressed with how she checked in to make sure everyone was comfortable! You cannot go wrong with this beautiful house!

Martha was very responsive over email to my many many questions. She also recommended a few of our other vendors which was super helpful. Very easy to work with. We fit all of our friends and family inside for a beautiful (but hot) July day! Would recommend to anyone looking for a DYI wedding- we were able to assemble items ourselves which was cost effective to our budget. Great venue!!

Martha was very helpful. She gave us many ideas for vendors etc. The grounds were beautiful and the house is a wonderful place for a wedding reception or any type of event. We really liked that we were able make the arrangements for vendors and do alot of things ourselves which helped us stay within our budget.

We used the Rand-Bryan House for our wedding reception and it was absolutely beautiful!!! We got lucky and it was a beautiful June day, so the guests could walk in and out of the house as they pleased. They were able to drink, mingle and play cornhole outside. Inside we had a Dj for dancing and an awesome meal by Charlie's BBQ and Grille. Our photo's on the property were breathtaking!!! It's kept in such nice shape, very clean and the landscape is gorgeous. Martha was very helpful in the planning process and recommended many other vendor's and ideas that I used. We got so many compliments on our venue, definitely recommend Rand-Bryan!

As an out of town MOB, we could not have selected a better venue for my daughter's reception. It was the bride and groom's first choice because the groom had worked at the Christmas tree farm while in school. From the first time we met with Martha, we were blown away by her willingness to make our time there as meaningful as possible. As the event day approached and I had a million questions, she continued to be patient and helpful. She was with us the entire day and was so flexible even when there was confusion about some delivery times. The venue was gorgeous but the real beauty was Martha. I would highly recommend this venue again and again!!!!

Martha at the Rand-Bryan House was wonderful to work with! She was quick to answer emails and phone calls and was very accomodating to our schedule. We were able to have our engagement pictures taken at the house, as well as our rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. The house was clean and beautiful! She gave us ideas on decorating and floor plans, and was there for the entire wedding in case any last minute questions popped up. She worked well with our other vendors and helped them with any questions they had. I highly recommend working with Martha and the Rand-Bryan House!!!

This is a 5 star venue for sure. The owners were always very helpful and accommodating. The day of the wedding they seemed to be right there when you needed them but you never noticed them otherwise and they were never in the way. The owners also worked with out other vendors which resulted in everything going smoothly.
I don't think you will find a prettier venue than The Rand Bryan House. It was even overcast and sprinkled rain the day of our event and the grounds were still breathtaking. The house is gorgeous as well. I would use the word simple elegance. It is just beautiful. If I had the pictures back I would post them for you. Our daughter sent us a text the next morning that said "thank you for the wedding of my dreams yesterday". You can't get any better than that. A big thank you to the folks at the Rand Bryan House.

The Rand-Bryan house was a beautiful, neat, and unique place for our wedding. Martha was very helpful in offering suggestions on setup, providing the opportunity to customize our wedding to our tastes, and being flexible with rain contingency plans, changing guest counts, and a very laid-back schedule. The house and grounds have enough charm and simple beauty so the decorations we added were just finishing touches. We got married in the front garden, which easily fit our 80-guest ceremony, and our reception was in the house and around the front porch - the weather was beautiful, so people mingled and walked around, enjoying the entire venue. We felt right at home getting dressed and ready in the bridal suite, and even set up lawn games out back! Our day was perfect and we couldn't have done it without the lovely folks at Rand-Bryan!

Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, but Martha and her crew are amazing! Any questions we had were promptly answered and they were so easy to work with. We received so many compliments on how beautiful our venue was for our wedding and we couldn't be happier. The Rand-Bryan House was definitely the least stressful thing about our wedding planning, I highly recommend it!

Choosing the Rand-Bryan House was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We had about 50 guests and this venue was PERFECT for us. We had the ceremony on the front lawn, an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour, and a plated dinner indoors. There was plenty of room for tables, a large dance floor, a separate bar area, and a dessert/coffee room. The bridal room was perfect for getting ready, and for having a private place to get away during the cocktail hour. We especially loved that we could decorate with our own photos, etc., making it feel like a cozy family get-together without losing the elegance and formality of a wedding. The grounds are beautiful and very private, and Martha and her husband make sure everything is spotless. She is super-friendly, helpful, accommodating, and very professional. The setting of the Rand-Bryan House greatly added to our extraordinary day. We had several comments from our guests on how much they liked the venue, and it was great to see them relaxing in rocking chairs, walking the grounds, and dancing all night long. We highly recommend the Rand-Bryan House!

My family is from MA and traveled down to NC for our wedding. As most had never been to NC, we wanted to have our wedding in a unique space. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception at the Rand-Bryan House. The property and the house are beautiful, and there is plenty of space (both of our families are large, and this was one of the few places we could find with an indoor/outdoor option). The flowers always seem to be blooming, which was great for photographs. My family loved it, and couldn't stop commenting how beautiful everything was. Everything was perfect.
Martha (the owner of the Rand-Bryan House) was great to work with, and was quick to respond to our emails and phone calls. She also recommended many of the vendors that we ended up going with. Both of these were a great help because my mother lives out of town, so we only had a limited amount of time to plan things. I would definitely recommend this venue.

This venue was absolutely stunning the weather was perfect sun was shinning. The landscape brings a relaxing yet elegant feel to the venue. Had a professional photographer to take pictures and all I can say is wow she really used the entire venue and landscape to take pics they turned out perfect. Martha was onsite and extremely helpful and patient with us and I would recommend her to anyone and most of all our venue price was amazing for the time slot and having it on a holiday this venue is definitely one that wont disappoint
