The Millennium Center is a historic wedding venue in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Since 1994, this full-service team has welcomed couples celebrating any milestone, including rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and wedding receptions. Its beloved Millennium Ballroom previously served as a sorting room for a post office and has been beautifully reimagined with elegant chandeliers, giant window casements, and maple hardwood floors. Striking the perfect balance between modern elegance and vintage charm, it's the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable soiree with loved ones. The Millennium Center is a privately owned spot located in the heart of downtown Winston Salem, surrounded by hotels and attractions.

Facilities and Capacity

This former government building offers three luxurious floor levels for you to choose from. The Speakeasy and Garden Room are located on the lower level and can accommodate up to 150 people. The Historic Courtroom and Grand Jury Room are on the upper level, with space for up to 150 guests. The Millennium Ballroom and Grand Lobby are located on the main level with a capacity of up to 400 guests. Each of the levels is unique and provides ample space for your ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, bars, restrooms, stages, and more. In addition, they have a get-ready salon and lounge for you to prepare in on the big day.

Best day of our lives!

We got married in December 2022 and could not have asked for a more perfect day. The venue itself is gorgeous and the location is super convenient, especially for out of town guests. Greg and his team were responsive, accommodating and fun to work with. They made thoughtful suggestions that took our ideas to the next level. The food was delicious, from cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres to the main course. We also had them do our bouquets and floral arrangements, which turned out beautifully. I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for their dream wedding!

Fantastic wedding venue.

Incredible historic venue for our daughter's winter wedding. Professional staff attentive to our every need. Lovely decorations and delicious food. Could not be happier.

Simply The Best!!

Simply The Best!! What a beautiful time we had! Greg Edie and Mary were the most gracious hosts and made our daughter's wedding an elegant memory we will cherish for a lifetime. From the first meeting to the tasting, to the final event, they were accessible and quick responding. We feel the atmosphere there is like walking into a familiar place, like visiting with Family. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. Our son's wedding was also at The Millenium Center. It was a privilege to back and enjoy once again!! Give them a call We highly recommend! 5 stars is not enough! Cheers!
