This venue and staff was the best to work with all the way from the first tour to the day after the wedding! As someone who is in the wine industry in Paso, it was so beyond great to see a staff with such extraordinary hospitality, professionalism and care in what they do. I honestly don’t have enough time to brag how this venue is raising the standard for all wedding venues and vendors in the county. We not only used the venue but we also used them for catering every night leading up to the wedding and the wedding itself! They did a fully custom menu and were the best with every detail and the selection process (because the option are endless and everything sound so amazing!). In the end not only Sam and I, but everyone that attended was blown away with the menu. To say this is THE best food we have ever had is an understatement. I still dream about those short rib empanadas! Overall everyone there made our experience one to remember. We truly feel like they added so much to our experience and Colin, Lisa, Chef, and their whole staff really knocked it out of the park. They are a must see when looking at venues and guarantee if you check them out you won’t be disappointed!!

As a wedding planner, I jump at any opportunity to work at La Lomita Ranch. This venue is truly exceptional in every way. The staff are not only incredibly helpful and professional but also so friendly, making the entire planning process a breeze. The property itself is absolutely breathtaking—a perfect blend of natural beauty and refined charm. Whether it’s iconic shots by the pond, meadow, or winery, La Lomita provides a stunning backdrop that isn’t overly rustic. It offers a comfortable and elevated setting with a fantastic indoor option to keep guests cozy and happy, no matter the weather. Its central location in San Luis Obispo is another huge plus! Easy access to the airport, plenty of lodging options, and nearby restaurants make it ideal for couples looking to host a full weekend celebration. For anyone dreaming of an elevated California ranch wedding, La Lomita Ranch is a venue I wholeheartedly recommend. It’s always a joy to work here!

McGraths was a dream come true. This is one of the more affordable venues in the area with the most spectacular garden. The team went out of their way to accommodate all of our COVID changes and helped to make our day a dream come true. We were excited to have a whimsical Garden reception here, but due to covid had to move our ceremony here instead. It ended up just perfect! Our first look in the garden made for amazing photos. The lights shining through the trees and the beautiful nature sounds were spectacular. The sparkler walk was so magical on their front drive. We couldn't have asked for a better venue! The Dana Powers House and Barn was an absolute dream for our wedding. From the moment we laid eyes on it, we knew it was the perfect place for our special day. The rustic elegance of the barn combined with its inherent charm was exactly what we had envisioned. Melanie, who managed the venue, was an absolute gem. Her responsiveness and willingness to answer all our queries made the planning process smoother. She truly helped bring our vision to life. The ceremony area, set on a patch of lush green grass with a wooden stage, was like something out of a fairytale. The backdrop of vibrant green trees added an ethereal touch that made our vows even more magical. The venue's details, like the beautiful rose bushes, added a picturesque quality to our photos that we'll cherish forever. And the presence of a fire pit allowed our guests to enjoy the sweet delight of s'mores—a thoughtful touch that added to the cozy, intimate atmosphere. Flying Caballos was such an incredible venue for our wedding weekend. Having the houses onsite made it so convenient for friends and family to stay at the venue, and they served as the perfect place to get ready on wedding morning. We hosted rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks on the lawn on Friday night, and then our full wedding on Saturday split between the upper lawn and barn, and we got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue is. When we had concerns about some of the lighting on the lawn, the venue manager Sarah was wonderful and took care of it immediately. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone, it was perfect!

Las Cumbres is a true family-owned ranch, and that spirit shows in everything they do. We wanted a venue run by people who genuinely cared about us, not somewhere that treated couples like just another date on the calendar. With Stefan and the team, we felt the exact opposite. Their kindness, sincerity, and professionalism were woven into every interaction. They made us feel seen, supported, and welcomed from the very beginning. Working with Stefan was an absolute highlight. He is the rare kind of person who brings both grounded expertise and genuine heart to the process. He was attentive, accommodating, and incredibly easy to communicate with, and on the wedding day he felt more like a trusted friend than a vendor. He and the entire team were present without ever being intrusive-offering support in a way that was subtle, warm, and deeply appreciated. And then there’s the ranch itself-1,000 acres of wide-open, cinematic beauty that takes your breath away. We were married in April, when the property was lush and vibrant, glowing in shades of fresh spring green. There’s an old oak that stands alone in the middle of the field, and we chose that spot for our ceremony. Standing beneath its sprawling branches felt almost sacred. As we exchanged vows, the wind moved through the tall grass around us, creating this soft, natural hush that made everything feel suspended in time. In the distance, wild horses ran along the hillside.. A moment so surreal it felt like the ranch itself was blessing our day. Throughout the entire planning process, the team was flexible, thoughtful, and endlessly accommodating. We always felt taken care of, never rushed, and never like we were asking for too much. If you’re dreaming of a ranch wedding that feels authentic, breathtaking, and deeply personal-surrounded by good people who truly care-Las Cumbres Ranch is the place. We had the most magical, beautiful wedding day and weekend at the Heritage Estate. Martha was so flexible and responsive, and we were able to make our day exactly what we wanted it to be! The grounds are beautiful, and the house is large and spacious. We ended up having a wedding weekend with family, bridesmaids, and groomsmen and that added such a wonderful element to the days leading up to our wedding. We were also able to have the rehearsal dinner and a day after brunch on site as well, because of the capacity of the space! There was also lots of extra props and things available to use, including the arch we used to put flowers on for the altar! The grass was green, the gardens were maintained well, and the barn was a fun place for dancing.

My experience at this venue was more amazing than I ever could’ve imagined. The venue is gorgeous! The owners, coordinator, and security go above and beyond. I don’t plan on ever getting married again, but if I did, I would choose Spanish Oaks Ranch every time! 😂 Our wedding was in February… it was freezing and raining, but they have an indoor venue large enough to hold a good size party (130ish) AND the floors were heated! That made everything so much more comfortable. The waiting area upstairs was large enough for myself, my mom, and 7 bridesmaids to all get ready comfortably. I can’t say enough about how awesome it was!

We could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding!! Everything was picture perfect throughout the entire wedding planning process! I knew it was the right venue as soon as I got there for my first tour. We were searching for a true dog friendly venue and Alicia was SO welcoming to me and my pups who just loved exploring the venue. She answered every possible question on my first visit. Alicia and her entire team were incredibly helpful with recommendations throughout the process and on the day of the wedding they were so attentive to details and helped make sure the day was absolutely perfect. The venue fit our ~150 guests perfectly and the guests are still raving about how beautiful it was. Having the houses on the property to say in was super convenient allow us to get ready so close to the venue with both of our families.
