Flying Caballos was such an incredible venue for our wedding weekend. Having the houses onsite made it so convenient for friends and family to stay at the venue, and they served as the perfect place to get ready on wedding morning. We hosted rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks on the lawn on Friday night, and then our full wedding on Saturday split between the upper lawn and barn, and we got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue is. When we had concerns about some of the lighting on the lawn, the venue manager Sarah was wonderful and took care of it immediately. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone, it was perfect!

We are so glad that we chose La Cuesta for our September wedding! Gabe was excellent to work with from start to finish and was very accommodating in achieving our wedding vision. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and we for so many compliments! The venue has a great layout with everything in close proximity and is surrounded by beautiful nature. The price is reasonable for SLO and Gabe has tons of rental items included that you can use in the wedding.

We could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding!! Everything was picture perfect throughout the entire wedding planning process! I knew it was the right venue as soon as I got there for my first tour. We were searching for a true dog friendly venue and Alicia was SO welcoming to me and my pups who just loved exploring the venue. She answered every possible question on my first visit. Alicia and her entire team were incredibly helpful with recommendations throughout the process and on the day of the wedding they were so attentive to details and helped make sure the day was absolutely perfect. The venue fit our ~150 guests perfectly and the guests are still raving about how beautiful it was. Having the houses on the property to say in was super convenient allow us to get ready so close to the venue with both of our families.

Whether it’s iconic shots by the pond, meadow, or winery, La Lomita provides a stunning backdrop that isn’t overly rustic. It offers a comfortable and elevated setting with a fantastic indoor option to keep guests cozy and happy, no matter the weather. Its central location in San Luis Obispo is another huge plus! Easy access to the airport, plenty of lodging options, and nearby restaurants make it ideal for couples looking to host a full weekend celebration. From the moment we saw Higuera Ranch, we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding day - elevated, inviting and naturally stunning. And in the midst of the natural beauty of the well-maintained property, a huge bonus of hosting our wedding here was working with Kristin. She leads with a kindness and passion that is present in every interaction, even the electronic ones, and we feel extremely lucky that she and Higuera Ranch are forever a part of our wedding story. Being able to host our closest friends and families on the property and working with Kristin and her team to customize our wedding layout on-site made for an ideal planning process. Every single one of our guests commented on how beautiful the property was and we feel so lucky that we spent our special day here. We’ll always remember our ceremony by the fig tree, our dinner on the lawn and our couple photos up in the beautiful foothills. And now, as we move into our marriage, we get to carry the beautiful memories we made at Higuera Ranch and the love and joy that gathered together in celebration there. Kristin and the team at Higuera Ranch went above and beyond for our family in ways we couldn’t have imagined and they, not just the property, have a special place in our hearts. We feel honored to be a part of their Ranch Family.
