What is the story behind Swallow Creek Ranch?
Swallow Creek Ranch voted "GOLD Wedding Venue - 2026 Best of the Central Coast", is an active cattle ranch and the only wedding venue on the Central Coast that offers spectacular ocean views and a historic barn. Couples will have access to our venue all weekend from Friday - Sunday for a relaxed affair. We will provide the blank canvas for the day and you will create your dream wedding image. We are located just off highway 1 near Cayucos, California, a popular beach town.
Facilities and Capacity
At Swallow Creek Ranch, we offer various wedding packages to accommodate different-sized events and budgets. In 2027 our "Deluxe Wedding Package" costs $12,850 and is available for weddings of up to 200 guests between May - October. Our "Intimate Wedding Package" costs $10,000 is available on a limited basis for up to 75 guests between May - July only. A $500 refundable damage deposit plus a $300 non-refundable cleaning fee will apply to either package.
Both packages allow couples to choose between two of our spectacular ocean-view ceremony sites. Sea View Meadow's magical creekside location sits alongside a eucalyptus grove and garden path that captures views of the sea. The Hilltop Amphitheatre overlooks the coastal terraces of Estero Bluffs State Park. Your reception space for the night is an enchanting, historic (built in the 1860's) blue dairy barn. The vintage creamery turned wedding suite and 1969 Airstream trailer provides two unique, charming spaces for our couples to prepare for their special day. Celebrate your special day with us, whether a small elopement or a grand affair.

- Indoor reception in the barn - w/ tables &chairs for 200 guests, drapery, lighting, bar, 4 heaters & 3 restrooms (1 ADA)
- Two "getting ready" spaces - A vintage wedding suite & 1969 Airstream trailer
- Choice of 2 ocean view ceremony sites - SeaView Meadow or Hilltop Amphitheatre
- Rustic bench seating available for Sea View Meadow or the barnyard
- Cocktail hour in the barnyard including - 5 wine barrels, 3 umbrellas, 2 patio heaters,a mobile bar & bistro lighting
- Two site managers and parking attendants
- Other miscellaneous ranch decor including - 1 farm table & 2 spool tables
- Portable arch ($300 set up fee)
- Onsite rehearsal dinner for up to 50 guests w/ use of table & chairs (add'l $400 fee)

Gorgeous Slice of Central Coast!!
I don't know where to even start, Swallow Creek was the venue of our dreams. It was the first venue we visited and from the moment we made it to the Hill Top Ceremony lookout + the barn, we knew this was our venue. It is the perfect mix of coastal country and we felt it represented us as a couple perfectly! I would highly take advantage of the hill top ceremony, the view is undoubtedly gorgeous, our guests loved it! Since we had our ceremony up on the hill we were able to take advantage of doing our rehearsal dinner in the Seaview Meadow, which was so perfect and intimate. For the day of, the boys got ready up at the vintage airstream, it felt like the perfect guy hangout spot with roaming views of the coast. While the girls got ready in the cutest bridal suit, you really get to take advantage of every bit of this gorgeous venue, all weekend long too!
Jonna and Reid were the BIGGEST help on our wedding day, you don't even know it, but they work their butts off to ensure everything is in place, guests know where to go for parking, to helping us clean up a bit. Jonna was so responsive during our planning process with all my questions and concerns, she put me at ease. They have the best vendor recommendations which makes vetting vendors so much easier, they are the professionals, so definitely take their advice.

Wedding venue of my DREAMS!
I could not have dreamt of a more special and beautiful venue for our wedding! The property is absolutely stunning, with so many beautiful native plants and incredible views of the Pacific Ocean. Also, SCR is a working ranch, and we were lucky enough that some of the cows were still on site for our wedding day - it felt like having a bunch of additional guests and everyone loved saying hi to them in the pasture!
We chose to use the Seaview Meadow, because A) it's absolutely gorgeous and B) it's is located right next to the barn, so the order of events had a very natural flow from the ceremony to cocktail hour and then into the reception. It was beautiful without feeling overly formal, and our guests loved being able to enjoy all of the different spaces throughout the day. And the old blue barn was truly the guest of honor! It was such a fun and beautiful place to eat, dance, and celebrate with everyone we love.
The setting also made our photos absolutely gorgeous. We could not be happier with how our wedding photos turned out, and so much of that was thanks to how naturally beautiful the venue is.
One of the best parts of the whole experience was getting to work with Jonna and Reid. They were so kind, helpful, and easy to work with throughout the entire weekend - it felt like working with friends to set up a party as opposed to formally setting up a structured event. They really helped set the tone for a joyful and stress-free wedding weekend.
It was just the most beautiful, lovely weekend, and we feel so lucky that we got to celebrate here. We are already hoping some of our friends get married here someday so we have an excuse to come back!

Simply the best
We could not have asked for a more beautiful experience at Swallow Creek Ranch for our daughter and son in laws wedding!
Jonna was absolutely amazing. She was so communicative, accommodating, and clear about all of the rules and expectations. We were able to come look at the venue more than once, and every time we left feeling confident that everything was going to be exactly as promised. They truly delivered on every expectation we had. The vendor list they provided was also such a huge help and made the entire planning process so much easier! They let us run with all our fun ideas.
And then there was Lindsey, the wedding coordinator. She was incredible! She was personable, professional, accommodating, and somehow managed to pull together all of the little details that made the day feel like an absolute fairytale.
As a mom, there is nothing better than seeing your daughter, her new husband, and the entire family so incredibly happy. Swallow Creek Ranch gave us the most beautiful setting and an amazing team to help make such an important day everything we dreamed it would be.
We are so grateful for Jonna, Lindsey, and everyone at Swallow Creek Ranch. If you are considering this venue for your wedding, I cannot recommend them enough. They truly care, they communicate, they deliver, and they make you feel taken care of from start to finish.

Won't Ever Stop Talking About Our Love For SCR!!!!
We got married at the beautiful Swallow Creek Ranch at the end of May, and we are absolutely still soaking in the weekend. All of our vendors were amazing, but the venue itself, and especially Jonna and Reid, are the ones we are still talking about and gushing over!
During our very first tour of SCR with Jonna, we knew it was the spot for us. The unique and jaw-dropping blue barn, the history of the property, the ocean views, the beautiful natural landscape, and the energy of the space were unforgettable. It was everything we had dreamed of for a Central Coast wedding.
Not only was the venue a perfect match, but Jonna made choosing SCR a no-brainer. She and Reid made the entire planning process feel light, fun, and so authentic. We appreciated every part of our experience and truly cannot stop talking about how positive and special our time at SCR was.

Swallow Creek Ranch is THAT venue - the one that has it all!
From the moment we drove onto the property for our tour, my husband and I felt the magic of Swallow Creek Ranch and that feeling continues and is something we reminisce about even today months after our wedding. After touring several coastal venues, Swallow Creek Ranch was our last stop and we both left our initial tour with Jonna knowing this is where we wanted to start our lives together as husband and wife. There is something indescribable about the property itself, but also the caretakers of this gorgeous space, Jonna and Reid. From the moment we began working with them, we felt at ease, supported, and like we had an extra set of wedding expert friends helping us pull our vision together.
We got married in early June 2026 at the Seaview Meadow and it was more breathtaking than we could’ve imagined. This venue captured our love of the ocean, wildflowers, and the natural beauty of the Central Coast. Dream Wedding Come True
From start to finish Jonna and Reid were incredibly helpful in helping to make our dream wedding come true. Swallow Creek Ranch serves as a breathtaking backdrop for a day of love. We even had the cows oversee our entire ceremony, which was really special. This place will remain a very important part of our story.

Gorgeous Venue, Friendly Staff!
This venue is absolutely beautiful. From the gorgeous views to the friendly staff, everything is A pluses all the way around. We absolutely LOVE working at this venue with Mixed Events and highly recommend securing a walk thru visit/booking them!

The Best!!
Swallow Creek Ranch is a magical wedding venue! The views of the Pacific are unbelievable. The barn and eucalyptus grove is welcoming and romantic.
The care and attention to detail from the staff is unmatched. Everyone is so friendly, professional and go above and beyond to make your wedding weekend a success! Swallow Creek Ranch is the best!

Best of the coast
If you're looking for a coastal wedding venue, Swallow Creek should be at the top of your list. Once we visited the site, we quickly realized there's no other like it in the area. The planning process went smoothly thanks to Jonna who is extremely professional and communicative. The venue's curated vendor list was excellent and Jonna worked with us to bring in a new band we wanted to have for big day. Wedding day at the Sea View Meadow went without a hitch thanks to Jonna and Reid and the place showed as well in pictures as it did in-person. Wouldn't change a thing.
