A Wedding Planner, Wedding Coordinator & Wedding Designer Effortlessly All Wrapped Up in One Amazing Person

According to our research when hiring vendors for our wedding, we learned that "generally, a wedding planner addresses logistics along the wedding-planning journey, a coordinator helps with executing the plans on the day of your nuptials. A wedding designer does less coordination than a planner and works more on the overall aesthetic of the event, guiding you through your color scheme and décor choices." (www.brides.com)

Krysta single-handedly performs all these roles with a level of commitment, dedication and poise rarely seen in any one single individual. With Krysta, there is no need to hire a wedding planner, wedding coordinator, and/or a wedding designer as she does it all and does it exceptionally well.

Krysta was originally hired to serve as a "consultant" due to our wedding being located hours away from our home in Southern California; however, the decision to hire her to perform every task associated with the planning of the wedding was immediately evident within the first few weeks.

While the Dolphin Bay Resort and Spa is a beautiful venue in and of itself, it was Krysta who transformed the venue into a truly remarkable experience, and the most amazing part about it, we gave Krysta full reign to do whatever she wanted to make the experience the experience of a lifetime and she did not disappoint. Krysta exceeded our expectations beyond our wildest dreams and created the most wonderful wedding experience any couple could ever want or desire. The best part was she did it as though she never broke a sweat, even though deep down we know that was not the case.

Krysta is an amazing person. She is an exceptionally kind, compassionate, and giving person who commits to providing couples with the very best experience. Through the process, and as we began to get to know her better and better along the way, it was apparent to us that not only is Krysta that way toward her clients; but that is who she is as a person: kind, compassionate, giving, dedicated and committed to perfection. She is simply extraordinary and you will be hard-pressed to find anyone better than Krysta to deliver an absolutely perfect wedding.

Krista and her team brought our dream wedding to life!

In the early stages of planning a wedding there is always that initial shock and daunting pressure of where to begin. The moment we spoke to Krista we knew. The shock was gone and the pressure was off and we knew that she had our back. She so effortlessly took charge and guided us through the entire process. Not only did she ensure that our vision came to life, but we trusted her enough to create something memorable for us. Give her the space to work. She's brilliant, creative, personable, and just so on it. Choosing Krista and the team at Over the Moon Events will be the best first decision you make when planning your wedding.

Can't recommend OTM highly enough!

Where to begin!? Krysta was our hero and saving grace throughout the entirety of our wedding process. From the moment we partnered with her to help plan our wedding at Swallow Creek Ranch, she dove right in making the insanely daunting process of planning a wedding feel approachable and manageable. She helped us narrow down and connect with the best local vendors for our tastes and preferences, offering sound guidance based on her years of experience in wedding and event planning, and long track record of successful weddings at Swallow Creek. When we needed it most, she provided useful context for budget planning and prioritization, which allowed us the space to really hone in on the most important and intentional aspects of our wedding weekend. She didn’t even let the birth of her second child - one month before our wedding - slow her or her team down in the homestretch of the lead up to our wedding day. Krysta really stepped up for us and we will be FOREVER grateful for all of her hard work, energy and attention to planning the wedding of our dreams. If you’re thinking about getting married on the Central Coast / SLO County area, make sure you give Krysta a call! Cannot recommend her highly enough!!

Over the Moon that I booked this vendor!!!

Our planner, Lindsey, was PHENOMENAL!!! Over the Moon was recommended by our venue (Swallow Creek Ranch), and I completely see why! They were so knowledgeable about every fine detail and working element of my wedding day. We booked the partial planning package, which was perfect as a DIY bride and full-time medical professional. Krysta was able to coordinate a table mock-up prior to my wedding with our local rental company to ensure the tables would look exactly how I wanted. The tools we were given through Aisle Planner were quite literally this Type A bride's dream. Our lead planner, Lindsey, made our wedding day dreams come true by booking vendors we had trouble receiving contact from (she got us an oyster bar!) and was so responsive to all of my last minute questions. I would recommend Over the Moon to any and all brides!!!

Valuable Partner

We hired Over The Moon for our wedding at Swallow Creek Ranch this past September and highly recommend Krysta and her team! We chose the coordination package but felt completely supported through the planning process, not just in the last month before the wedding.

Krysta is such a valuable partner and a wealth of information. She helped to streamline our planning process, scheduling several check-in calls and to-do deadlines to keep us on track. Her detailed planning worksheets took us through every possible question/ scenario and allowed us to plan a thoughtful (and logistically sound) experience for our guests and ourselves. While we managed vendor outreach and negotiation, she gave us solid recommendations for vendors based on our vision as well as our budget and shared local industry standards for prices and best practices which guided our decisions. When we hit budget constraints she helped us brainstorm, encouraging us to ask our florist to repurpose ceremony arrangements and our caterer if they would make an off menu dessert.

It's important to note that during the planning process, Krysta had a baby. We were amazed with her ability to take the time she needed but also keep us feeling supported and on track.

We were able to fully enjoy our wedding day thanks to Krysta's management of communication with all our final vendors and thorough timeline. She even scheduled private breaks for my husband and I to decompress throughout the day. When she handed off the evening to her co-lead Lindsey, we felt equally cared for.

Overall, we were in great hands with Krysta & co. and could not have been better supported!
