Amy was fantastic from my first meeting all the way through to the wedding. I didn’t have much for a vison but just rough ideas and she took my ideas and blew me away the day of. It was exactly what I had wanted to convey on the day all while staying within our budget. Amy was extremely easy to work with and always responsive and helpful! I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Amy did a fantastic job with our flowers! We met multiple times over the course of my planning journey and I gave her some input but did not have a fully formed idea of what I was looking for. She exceeded every expectation I could have possibly had and it made the day so wonderful. My bouquet was breath taking and the arch was perfectly decorated. I would 100% recommend hiring her!

Working with Amy at Poppy Belle Floral was so easy and fun! We decided to do a pickup order, and she still gave us the time, attention, and responsiveness we would expect if we had been a much bigger project. I also had a request to add in specific things that were meaningful to us, and she was so happy to accommodate and help us bring the vision to life! She responded quickly, always answered my questions even when they were insane, let me change my vision literally up to 1 month prior to my big day & never once got frustrated or complained. Let me start by singing the owner's praises - Amy was just wonderful to work with! We found her pretty late in the game only two months out from my wedding date and she went above and beyond in her accommodations! Not only did she allow us to book her (fairly last minute), but she also gave my mom and I the time to think about our order and ask questions before locking it down. My flower budget was pretty low for the industry (around $2-3k) and she worked with it graciously and kindly. She went above and beyond to help me cut costs while still giving me beautiful flowers on mine and my husband's wedding day! I was incredibly grateful for her - I had some negative experiences with some other florists getting frustrated with my budget - but not Amy! She worked with it effortlessly and professionally. It's also worth noting that Amy was incredibly communicative and responsive; I learned that's a bit of a rarity in the wedding floral industry (I had trouble getting most florists to even respond to my inquiries). On top of that, Amy was a local florist to Durham where I grew up, so that was a plus for me! I got my wedding flowers and was able to support a local business from my hometown.

Now on to her flowers - Poppy Belle's flowers are beautiful, colorful, and whimsical. I think they're unique in the flower industry and the stunning pieces any bride would want to compliment her wedding look. For my wedding, you wouldn't have known my budget was lower by looking at our reception! Poppy Belle's flowers were just gorgeous with our table settings and they made our reception look incredibly tasteful and elegant. Amy made my budget work for a 200 person wedding and I was just thrilled. As for my bouquet, it was one-of-a-kind and designed by Amy with very little direction from me. My husband and I loved it so much, we got it preserved because it reminds us so much of our wedding day.

In summary, I adored Poppy Belle and Amy! You won't find a better combination of service, flowers, or prices in the area. My advice? Book her!!
