Made my ideas a vision!

Amy was fantastic from my first meeting all the way through to the wedding. I didn’t have much for a vison but just rough ideas and she took my ideas and blew me away the day of. It was exactly what I had wanted to convey on the day all while staying within our budget. Amy was extremely easy to work with and always responsive and helpful! I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Stunningly beautiful

Amy did a fantastic job with our flowers! We met multiple times over the course of my planning journey and I gave her some input but did not have a fully formed idea of what I was looking for. She exceeded every expectation I could have possibly had and it made the day so wonderful. My bouquet was breath taking and the arch was perfectly decorated. I would 100% recommend hiring her!

Our flowers were a dream!

Working with Amy at Poppy Belle Floral was so easy and fun! We decided to do a pickup order, and she still gave us the time, attention, and responsiveness we would expect if we had been a much bigger project. I also had a request to add in specific things that were meaningful to us, and she was so happy to accommodate and help us bring the vision to life! It wouldn't have been the same day without her beautiful touch!

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience

Amy was literally picture perfect from start to finish. She responded quickly, always answered my questions even when they were insane, let me change my vision literally up to 1 month prior to my big day & never once got frustrated or complained. The day of I had literal tears looking at the amazing floral designs and greenery she put together. She exceeded my expectations in every way

Amazing Work by Poppy Belle!

We were thrilled to work with Amy as our wedding florist. Her vibrant personality and enthusiasm for her craft shone through in every interaction we had with her. From the moment we sat down for our initial consultation, Amy had so many creative ideas and inspiration for our special day. We also loved just chatting with her about all things wedding! She really took the time to get to know us as a couple and understand our vision, resulting in flowers that perfectly reflected our style and really allowed me to trust the final product. I'm obsessed with how everything turned out! Not only did she exceed our expectations with her ability to bring all my scattered ideas and thoughts to life, but her attention to detail throughout the entire process made working with her a breeze. We highly recommend Poppy Belle to anyone looking for a talented and passionate florist for their wedding day.

Amy was wonderful in every way and the flowers were gorgeous! BOOK HER!!

Let me start by singing the owner's praises - Amy was just wonderful to work with! We found her pretty late in the game only two months out from my wedding date and she went above and beyond in her accommodations! Not only did she allow us to book her (fairly last minute), but she also gave my mom and I the time to think about our order and ask questions before locking it down. My flower budget was pretty low for the industry (around $2-3k) and she worked with it graciously and kindly. She went above and beyond to help me cut costs while still giving me beautiful flowers on mine and my husband's wedding day! I was incredibly grateful for her - I had some negative experiences with some other florists getting frustrated with my budget - but not Amy! She worked with it effortlessly and professionally. It's also worth noting that Amy was incredibly communicative and responsive; I learned that's a bit of a rarity in the wedding floral industry (I had trouble getting most florists to even respond to my inquiries). On top of that, Amy was a local florist to Durham where I grew up, so that was a plus for me! I got my wedding flowers and was able to support a local business from my hometown.

Now on to her flowers - Poppy Belle's flowers are beautiful, colorful, and whimsical. I think they're unique in the flower industry and the stunning pieces any bride would want to compliment her wedding look. For my wedding, you wouldn't have known my budget was lower by looking at our reception! Poppy Belle's flowers were just gorgeous with our table settings and they made our reception look incredibly tasteful and elegant. Amy made my budget work for a 200 person wedding and I was just thrilled. As for my bouquet, it was one-of-a-kind and designed by Amy with very little direction from me. My husband and I loved it so much, we got it preserved because it reminds us so much of our wedding day.

In summary, I adored Poppy Belle and Amy! You won't find a better combination of service, flowers, or prices in the area. My advice? Book her!!

All I can say is wow!

Amy from Poppy Belle went above and absolutely beyond for our wedding - all while helping us stay in budget which was important to us. She provided the best costumer service since I was a bit indecisive in the beginning. I couldn’t have been happier with our outcome!! She really took my vision and ran with it! Our centerpieces were breathtaking and we received so many compliments. Don’t even get me started on my bridal bouquet- it was what dreams are made of! They truly made our wedding! If you’re thinking about using Poppy Belle just do it!! They’re the best in every aspect and I can’t say enough good things about her and her team. It was an honor to work with them.

Delightful Experience

I decided at the last minute to get a professional arrangement for our private ceremony /elopement. Amy was absolutely wonderful, being transparent about what was possible for my timeline, requests and budget. It could not have been a smoother experience and the florals she chose were perfect. From my bouquet, to the teeny flowers for my partner and everyone in the ceremony, to the greens for the arbor. She seemed to understand what my brain wanted exactly!! All the flowers were fresh and beautiful and I even dried them all afterwards to preserve and make art with. I would recommend her to anyone, for any occasion :)

Amazing!!!

I have nothing but great things to say about Poppy Belle. My husband and I had different ideas of what our wedding flowers and decor should look like. Poppy was able to combine both concepts into one and it exceeded our expectations. Poppy Belle even gave me a list of all of the flowers in my bouquet so that my husband could recreate it on our tenth anniversary. Poppy designed our wedding space, made our flowers, boutineers, and the bouquet. They even set up the wedding cake and used their cake stands. The wedding arch fit well with our theme. The decorations look better than I ever imagined. I can’t recommend them enough!

10/10 Florist!

Amy with PoppyBelle is incredible to work with!!! The florals at my wedding were extremely important to me, but I wasn't sure what my vision was beyond colors, and I did not have a big budget. She pulled together my ENTIRE vision perfectly with just telling her I wanted pops of pinks/color and that my favorite flowers were tulips!!! She worked with me multiple times to get the budget down where we could on things that we could cut or places we could get away with using a little less flowers. I trusted her fully and she made the whole process easy and fun! She is so kind, funny, and bubbly - every time we got together to plan we were laughing and she made me so comfortable. She is timely, professional, and honestly a breath of fresh air to work with during what can be a stressful planning time! I can't recommend Poppy Belle enough!

Amazing amy!

I absolutely adore Amy. I was tasked to plan the rehearsal dinner for my son and new daughter in law. Amy heard what I wanted, designed it perfectly, and was a peach to work with. The flowers were beautiful and fresh…
When Amy showed up at the venue on time and ready to place the flowers, the room was not set up. Amy and her two fabulous helpers went above and beyond my expectations and put on the table cloths, the runners I had made, and the grass mats…on all ten tables plus dessert tables. I have had many huge parties before in another state, but no one has ever been as impressive as Amy and her crew!

The Most Beautiful Florals and Designs!!

Poppy Belle did a fabulous job of designing the decor and florals for our wedding! I had a vision in mind and they truly made it come to life. Working with them was so easy and they were very flexible if I ever changed my mind about a design. The florals were stunning and so were our reception centerpieces! Covid wedding

Planning a wedding during covid was not ideal, but Amy went above and beyond to hear our ideas and understand our vision for the day. Her attention to detail is phenomenal and the day was beautiful! She executed the plans perfectly. I would recommend her to anyone.

A creative talent!

Amy truly has a gift for floral arranging! Her work is absolutely beautiful. She listens and really gets a sense of of what you’re looking for as a client and brings that vision to life. I knew after our first meeting that Amy was the right fit as our Wedding Planner. She is professional, experienced and made us feel confident about the entire wedding planning process. Amy kept us on track, organized and on budget. I knew I would struggle on the design side of our wedding and Amy helped me turn my vision for our wedding into a reality. We still receive compliments about our design and flowers from our wedding. She also meant more to us than just a vendor. Amy was hands down the number one reason behind why our day was so perfect, beautiful, and stress free. Her knowledge and experience in wedding planning and floral design is world class and incredibly professional. Aside from her professionalism, Amy is incredibly kind and personable with such great energy and positivity. You feel so taken care of because she truly cares about her craft and her clients. The day of our wedding was so smooth and stress free because every minute detail was ironed out and set for action way ahead of time. Her floral design is out of this world amazing. Everything I didn’t know I needed

Amy was hands down the best vendor I hired! Not only was she super quick in responding but she was highly professional & has a great personality and a true eye for her art! Amy was our month-of wedding planner in addition to our florist and she truly did a phenomenal job in each role! The flowers were amazing. She took my inspiration ideas and used her own talent and creativity to create such stunning arrangements that were both original and in synch with what I envisioned! Amy has years of experience in the wedding industry and she was so important to us during the month before our wedding. She helped make sure the day was absolutely perfect and thought of every little detail. She really ensured that things ran smoothly and made sure that our day was everything we wanted it to be. Floral Arranging Class Via Zoom

I had the opportunity to recently participate in Amy's Zoom floral arranging class. What a great way to learn a new skill during this time. Amy delivered the fresh local flowers, vase and local goodies to my front door and all I had to do was click on the Zoom link Amy sent to start the class. AMAZING! Beautiful and could not have done it without Amy!

Amy is seriously so incredible. She was so easy to work with and was so thorough with everything with the wedding. I know for a fact that I would not have been able to do the wedding without her. I had Amy do coordination and design/floral and it was just absolutely perfect. She understood my vision so well and made sure everything went so smoothly. She was great with the vendors and patient with me too. She provided so many helpful resources for planning and was honest, flexible and extremely helpful. She was also so professional and so organized. The wedding was exactly what I envisioned and I am so grateful. Seriously, book Amy! It was SO worth it.

Words cannot describe how thankful I am for Amy's help! My friends said I was the calmest bride they've seen, but I know I wouldn't be so relaxed if Amy were not there setting up every detail and making sure things go smoothly. I booked Amy for my day-of coordinator, but she was able to answer all my miscellaneous questions throughout the year. The actual detail-planning started around two weeks before the wedding. For me, it's sufficient because I've already put together a plan, but just need someone to run through and make sure it sounds plausible. After I dropped off all my decorative pieces at the reception place on Thursday (two days before the wedding), I became completely hands-off. Amy really took care everything on the day and made my vision alive.

If anything, I would even more highly recommend Amy for floral design. Her floral design was absolutely amazing! My bouquet has all the elements that I love. I was holding it the entire time during the photo shooting, and Brian (my photographer) had to take it away for a moment just so I can pose to take some "proper" pictures with my hubby. LOL.

Amy at Knots 'N Such was such a wonderful joy to work with!!! From the very beginning, she was kind, professional, excited with us, and willing to try whatever we wanted! She was so easy to work with, and she made such beautiful things happen within our budget. She was also honest about what we could let go of without losing the 'feel' of our wedding since we did not have an unlimited budget (I wish!). Our flowers for the wedding day were absolutely gorgeous, stunning, better than I even imagined! She designed the florals on a pergola that my dad built us as the backdrop to our ceremony, and it was breathtaking. My bridal bouquet was perfection - every detail was tended to. Our greenery and table design were simple, clean, elegant, and exactly what I had in mind. Amy made my dreams come to life and more - I cannot thank her enough and would definitely recommend her and use her for florals or planning in the future!

Amy was both our coordinator and florist, and she did such an amazing job! I gave her some thoughts on color scheme/overall feel and the final product was perfect - the flowers were beautiful and I loved the way she designed everything. Even though the weather was terrible, Amy was flexible and professional, and we absolutely love how everything turned out. She was also incredibly communicative ahead of the wedding and made sure my husband and I kept up with our to-dos.

Best wedding planner and florist, hands down! Amy is a wonderful person and a pleasure to be around, like having a great friend involved in your special day!! First off, Amy was extremely friendly and completely interested in every detail of my vision right from the get go. She was extremely organized and very reassuring that she would make this a low stress and enjoyable time for me. I am NOT a planner and have difficulty making decisions, so I came to her needing a lot of assistance. She broke things down in small portions that made everything seem so much less overwhelming. I also appreciated that she had two different services offered so we could choose the one that fit our budget. I was so happy with the service we received and our wedding day turned out to be an absolute dream. As I stated above, I am not very good at making detailed decisions. When it came to florals I felt clueless on what kind of flowers, what size, or what colors I wanted. I told Amy I wanted the flower arrangements to be a variety of whites and pretty much allowed her to surprise me with her creative expertise. On wedding day I couldn’t believe the arrangements when she opened the box. It was perfect. I couldn’t have designed a better more fitting bouquet if I tried. She was able to see my style and theme of the decor and create beautiful complimentary arrangements for our day. She even surprised me with an extra flower piece on our arbor! It was so sweet.What they did really well -Putting my husband and I at ease with all the planning details. We were
incredibly busy at the time and lived far from any family to help with coordination.
Knots N’ Such was our saving grace in helping bring everything together.
I appreciated that I never felt pressure to go over budget with choices on decor.
She gave me options and understood when we didn’t have the money to splurge
in certain areas. One huge perk of working with KNS was the different packages we could chose
from. Having the one month coordination option was perfect for us. It allowed me to hand off the stress the month before our day and basically just answer any questions we had.

I love Knots 'N Such! Amy is very passionate about weddings, and making it a success for the couple. My husband and I loved her professionalism and execution on our wedding day. She kept our large bridal party inline and focused during rehearsal as well. During the planning stage Amy walked me through all the "to do's" or "can do's" for a wedding. She respected my choice to arrange somethings on my own. I was provided a list of recommended venders and things to look for in a vender if I chose another one.
Amy was perfect and totally worth my time and money. The service exceeded my expextations. It was a privledge to work with her and her staff on my wedding day. Knots 'N Such focused on the bride and putting out any fires which happened on my wedding day, so I could relax and enjoy the day of festivities with my husband! Love you Amy! We used Knots n' such for day-of (/month-of) coordination and florals for our wedding. Overall we had a great experience with Amy, Ivana and the team! They are very professional and responsive, and comfortable to work with. Their month-of plan really keeps you on track- you will have a weekly phone call where they go through a comprehensive list, for which they'll send follow up emails to remind you all that you need to accomplish that week. The flowers at our wedding were beautiful and Amy incorporated local flowers from farms in the area, which was very important to me! In general, I will give the advice that day-of coordination is really key in feeling like you are just able to enjoy your own day. It also gives you full control over your planning process- for better or for worse! I think Ivana & Amy made the execution process as easy as it could have been. And by having the flowers done by the planner, it took out an extra element of coordination.

Amy was incredible. I was not the most hands on bride but one thing I did know was what I wanted my flowers to look like and the overall vision I had for the wedding. She worked within my budget and made cost conscious suggestions and substitutions which I greatly appreciated as you don't find that kind of service and honesty every day. She delivered my flowers to my house which was at least 30 minutes from the venue location and I was so grateful for that added service. My flowers were stunning, so unique, exactly what I wanted and more. The tables were stunning. She did such an amazing job. Her colleague was also super sweet and helpful. Amy is AMAZING! She truly was a god send through the wedding planning process. My husband and I hired her as the day-of-coordinator/florist/decorator and she went above and beyond just day-of planning. She was there every step of the way to provide us with guidance and assistance. Additionally, she was flawless the day of the wedding. I came to Amy almost in tears because of how overwhelmed I was with wedding planning. I booked her for coordinating and floral design and it was one of the best decisions I made. She immediately put me at ease with her calmness and comforting personality. Amy has a passion for what she does and helped me with so many decisions! She has a lot of experience and any bumps that arose she handled quickly and efficiently. She also did my florals for the decor and bouquets and they were beautiful! I told her the colors and pointed out a few pictures I liked and she created amazing pieces that I was more than happy with. She utilized my Pinterest board to get the best idea of my vision for my wedding flowers, which I found extremely easy and helpful! She worked diligently on my requests and she did not disappoint. Amy at Knots N' Such was AMAZING. We hired her for florist services and month-of planning. She made planning a wedding so much less stressful, particularly because I was graduating from graduate school two weeks before my wedding. She met with me several times to pick out linens and florist arrangements and was so kind and patient when I changed my mind several times! She put me at ease and took a lot of the planning off my plate, particularly in that last month when we had weekly phone calls to talk about what needed to be completed still and to allow me to transfer my "wedding vision" to her! Her floral arrangements were perfect. We had so many compliments and their uniqueness matched perfectly with the wedding venue. Her prices are very reasonable and were the best value I could find for both wedding planning and floral services. I wasn't planning to hire a wedding planner but I highly recommend it. It made the day so much easier and I was able to focus on enjoying every second of it! I just can't say enough how thankful I am to have had Amy on our wedding team!

I cannot say enough good things about Amy! She was amazing, always smiling, bubbly, organized, and professional. She was able to calm my bridezilla moments as well as keep me on track and focused. She helps even when shes doesn't know she's helping. My dad was so nervous and overwhelmed and he watched her build the mantel piece for the ceremony and that helped put him at ease more than anything. He just went on and on about how much he liked Amy. The day of the wedding I knew she was doing a great job because if there were any problems I never knew about them. I also hired her as our florist and the flowers were stunning!!!!!!!! Her flower arrangements look more natural and classy than anything I have ever seen before. Loved loved loved them! Her attention to detail blew everyone away!!!! She is sweet and personal and I truly loved every second of working with her.

We were planning our NC wedding remotely while living in here NYC - a definite challenge, as you could imagine. Early on, we were on the fence when it came to wedding coordinators; looking back, there is absolutely NO way our day would have turned out as amazing without Amy.

We began working with Amy a month before our wedding. The weekly lead-up calls were incredibly helpful - she'd think of things that I had never considered (or had time to!) In the week leading up, she handled all the communication with our vendors like a champ, ensuring everyone knew what they were doing, when, where, etc. On our actual wedding day, I'm still not sure what she and her assistant did NOT do - from prep, to running the ceremony, to getting through all the key moments at the reception - she was totally on it and, if anything did go wrong, we had no idea. It's one of the happiest days of our lives and that's all I'll remember, as it should be. She is top notch and we really loved working with her - if you're still searching for someone to help with your wedding, I highly recommend you speak with Amy!

Amy is absolutely wonderful to work with. Throughout the entire planning process, I never once felt overwhelmed. Amy was exceptional at scheduling vendor meetings and connected us with some phenomenal catering, DJ, venue, and photography options. From the day we hired her, she was always available to answer any of our questions and recommend vendors to us, she always responded to our emails and questions right away. Amy was very helpful during the planning process of the wedding. She asked the questions that I did not know to ask. Small details like who would hold the rings during the ceremony, and if the DJ would be present at the rehearsal. Aside from being a tremendous help before the wedding, Amy and her team did a fabulous job decorating the ceremony and reception! It is clear that she has an eye for decor. Before the wedding Matt said to me while we were looking at our wedding budget one of the first things he would have cut was the extra money spent on a day of coordinator. After the wedding it was the NUMBER ONE thing he would absolutely not do without! To say that Amy and her team made our wedding the most amazing day of our lives is such an understatement. For the amount of attention to detail, sweet guidance, planning assistance and taking names (I'm talking about kicking butt day of set up) Amy was severely underpaid!!! Her responsiveness was unparalleled to any other vendor we booked and she thought of things the venue coordinator hadn't even thought of! She is excellent and her quality of work was superb. We also booked Amy as our florist and since she would be there the day of we received a delivery discount. Its not a coincidence that she is rated the #1 florist in the area, her work is beautiful!

If you are on the fence about booking a coordinator think of this little story. Matt drove to the venue the morning of our wedding to drop of alcohol we purchased ( a place to save a little money). When he walked into the venue Amy was directing where to set up tables, was taking care of incorrect linens that had been delivered and finding the ones we had paid for, was dealing with ice cream that showed up hours early and starting to melt, was setting up arrangements, candles, the guest book, welcome cards and who knows what else! If we didn't book her, who would have been doing that work or known what was even wrong? Maybe a mother or a cousin or a member of the bridal party or God forbid the bride? The point is it would have been someone who wanted to enjoy the celebration! The day flies by too fast to be stressed and not enjoy it!!! ......Amy is your girl. Look no where else and book her now.

Amy was absolutely amazing!! I hired Knots n Such for full service coordination. Amy was on the wild ride with me for almost an entire year! She is so organized and has already established connections with so many vendors that she could make so many great recommendations. She is happy with clients being as involved as they want to be, which in my case meant going on meetings to meet three of each vendor and adding some of my own DIY touches. We had monthly phone chats and many emails in between to make sure every detail of my day was exactly as I wanted.

And Amy does not only excel in event planning and coordination, but also is **aces** at flower design! I told her what colors I was thinking and a few of my favorite flowers and she DELIVERED! Ceremony arrangements, bouquets for me and my girls, boutonnières for groomsmen and special family, and all the gorgeous center pieces for our reception. I was truly blown away by her designs.

And perhaps most importantly, she was very mindful of keeping things in budget. We joked that my theme was vintage-rustic-romantic and CHEAP! It can be very easy to get out of control with a wedding budget. Amy listened to all my ideas and preferences and helped to find options that would fit both my aesthetic and bank account.

I live a few states away from all of my family and my mom was sooo thankful that I had Amy to help me through all the decisions to make our special day perfect from start to finish! I could not recommend Amy and Knots 'n' Such highly enough!

Amy was an absolute dream to work with!! We met with her before we had decided who our florist would be, and we just fell in love with her personality and how she completely understood our vision for our wedding. She was incredibly responsive every time I emailed her, and created a proposal for us so quickly. We had to change our florals several times throughout the planning process, and Amy was so patient and gracious to change our proposal numerous times for us, even though it was a lot of additional work for her to do so. I had big dreams for our floral design and a very large bridal party, and she worked within our budget to make everything happen that I had envisioned.

As far as florals go, I had several bridesmaids comment on how the bouquets were the most beautiful bouquets they had ever seen at a wedding. I wanted loose, wild, and flowy, with lots of greenery - and Amy's design matched my vision PERFECTLY. She is an insanely talented florist - she has the magic touch to make everything look beautiful! I have never loved a bouquet more than I loved the one she made for me, and everywhere that I saw our flowers at the ceremony and reception, my heart just swooned because they all looked so perfect. I just cannot say enough about Amy and her talent and kind heart.

I had been told when we started the wedding planning process that if you hire the right people, you won't have a single worry on your wedding day. I can say this is 100% true regarding our flowers - hiring Amy allowed me to relax and know our flowers would be set up on time and look perfect, and I didn't have to worry a bit. Everyone should hire this lady!! :)

Amy is VERY easy to work with. Especially coming from someone that knows nothing about flowers but wanted the perfect flower options for my wedding. Amy helped me achieve this with multiple emails, phone calls and pictures. She explained to me what each flower was, what they looked like through pinterest, which would be most affordable and hold up the best. I was having trouble finding a florist (not sure if it was because we were doing smaller arrangements or if we just waited too close to our wedding date) but Amy responded quickly and enthusiastically as soon as I contacted her. I don't know much about flowers, but I shared some pictures and ideas with Amy and she guided me in the right direction. She inquired about all the details of our wedding and venue so she could ensure her vision matched ours. She made the whole process so simple and worked with me to create a package that fit our budget. I was absolutely thrilled when the beautiful flowers arrived on our wedding day. The bouquets were full and fresh and Amy even added a little "bling" to mine which I had previously mentioned that I liked. We even had enough rose petals leftover from the centerpieces to scatter some down the aisle. Amy was very friendly, responsive and a delight to work with. She far exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Amy was very helpful with the wedding planning process. She kept my husband and I on task during the planning stages and did a lot of the communication with vendors to get everything set up. Amy did a wonderful job with day of coordinating as well, which left my husband and I, as well as our mothers/families, to be free in order to enjoy the wedding and reception themselves. She made the wedding planning process much less stressful for us, which was exactly what we needed given that we planned the whole thing in about 7 months and we both work quite a bit. She has endless energy and always a positive attitude and a smile.

Originally I wasn’t going to hire a wedding planner for my wedding because I had this pre-conceived notion that they would overtake my vision and distort it too much with their “professional” guidance. But then I met Amy of Knots ‘N Such… She was so incredible! I knew immediately that SHE was the ONE for me from the very first phone conversation. One thing that resonated with me the most was when she told me she wanted to get to know me so well that by my wedding day she would not have to bother me at all with any questions because she would already know what my answers would be… I simply LOVED this concept… and she stayed true to her word. She was like my best friend throughout the planning of my wedding, thinking of all the things we had never thought of and reminding us of all the things we forgot.
The best way to describe Amy’s level of professionalism is that she is extremely thorough without being too invasive. She is super friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable about both traditional and non-traditional weddings. She went above and beyond to make our day EXACTLY how WE intended it to be. Our wedding was non-traditional and her take on some of the things we did was, “I’ve never seen it done like that before, but I’ll bet it will be beautiful.” I think a couple’s wedding should be how the couple wants it to be and she really encouraged us to make it about US.
If you’re looking for a planner who is professional, courteous, personable and friendly, someone who’s very passionate not only about weddings and floral arrangements, but about making people happy as well, Amy, at Knots ‘N Such comes highly recommended by me. I would give her TEN stars, but the only allowed five on here, so… what more can I say. XOXO

I had no idea what flowers I wanted (not really into the whole flower thing) and I think the best answer I gave was "white ones". Thank god for Pinterest and Knots 'n Such. Based on pictures Amy was able to create everything I had pictured in my head but wasn't quite able to articulate. As far as planning goes, it is a lot of work and information sharing the month or so before but it is all worth it. If anything went wrong during my wedding day (and I am sure there was something) I never knew about it-and still don't. If you are on the fence about hiring a coordinator definitely spend the money for this one-it was the best money I spent!

I didn’t realize how much I needed a Wedding Coordinator until I first spoke to Amy with Knots 'N Such. I'm so glad I decided to hire her to help!! Knots 'N Such did a great job keeping me on track and giving me a checklist each week that never made me feel stressed out or overwhelmed. Amy simply kept me on track and helped me get certain tasks completed when she knew I needed her help. She also did a great job at offering advice and creating a weekend schedule for the wedding. Knots 'N Such also was our florist. Amy did a fabulous job on our flowers! The bouquets were gorgeous and exactly what I wanted! Not only were they beautiful, Amy really worked with me on the flowers to keep the price under control. She also was so patient with me when guiding me through where we needed flowers and who needed flowers. I feel like she put in so much extra effort in helping me choose the right flowers and doing her research as well for what would be available in April in the colors I wanted. I have already recommended Knots 'N Such to friends and would definitely hire them again for florist and event planning needs!

Amy was amazing and the best thing that my mom and I did when planning my wedding! She took the stress out of everything! I was able to enjoy the day and the weeks leading up to because she was so organized and helpful. I am so glad that we had her and only wish we had been smart and hired her sooner! Amy was SUCH an awesome wedding coordinator to work with! We had a very large wedding and she certainly helped ease my mind with everything. She was the breath of air that i needed as a bride and just when I thought I had thought of everything she would think of other items that needed to be addressed. We used Amy from Knots 'N Such as a "Day of Wedding Coordinator" but she helped with so much more. Amy was willing to drive to meet me when and where it was convenient for me and always came prepared. WIth a very large wedding party, she was able to hold their attention and accomplish the goal at hand and did so flawlessly! She made sure things were handled and gathered at the end of the ceremony and kept everything moving and flowing perfectly. I have absolutely nothing but glowing things to say about Amy and her assistant for out rehearsal and wedding day. I highly recommend Amy Wurster of Knots 'N Such as a wedding planner. Her sweet and low-key disposition paired with her organizational skills, efficiency and professionalism make a winning combination. Amy was INCREDIBLE. My husband and I both were so so happy we hired her! She took so much pressure off of us! We were very happy with the service provided by Knots 'N Such. Amy coordinated our daughter’s wedding reception and arranged all the floral bouquets for the wedding. During the months we planned the wedding, Amy’s expertise and advice were invaluable as we planned an intricate schedule of events. She met with us in person and then frequently by telephone meetings as my husband and I live in Florida and our daughter is in NC. I would highly recommend Knots N’Such, not only for the superb and smooth management of the events, but because it brought a peace of mind and allowed us to relax and enjoy our daughter’s wedding day! Amy was responsible for decorating the room for our reception. We had a basic idea of the concept we were going for, and after explaining our wishes to Amy, left the matter in her capable hands. She truly did a wonderful job. When we walked into the reception, we were delighted to see what she had done. The room was exquisitely decorated. She incorporated our style along with her great ideas, and even thought of the small details we overlooked. Amy helped turn our reception into an elegant and romantic affair. Our thoughts, along with Amy's vision and talent, made our reception truly a memorable event. I would love to have the opportunity to work with Amy again.

Do you need a planner for your baby shower. Amy is the one. Just tell her the colors you like and how many guest and I promise you will be happy. She planned my daughter's baby shower in 2008 and we were very happy.

For any bride that's nervous about staying beautiful through pictures, Amy is wonderful! I was worried about "overheating" in the GA humid summer. But Amy was super flexible with her photos and never put me out of my comfort zone. She coordinated with the other people helping with the wedding. I love my pictures! We found certain ideas online that we wanted to try, and she took all our suggestions to heart, it really made our pictures our moments, thank you for putting them in lasting pictures.

Amy did the invitations for my sister in law's baby shower a couple months ago completely from scratch and I couldn't have been more thrilled! They looked better than the Pinterest ones I had seen, were done in a timely manner and Amy was incredibly flexible, responsive and fun to work with. She also had many beautiful items to offer to add to the Woodsland theme I had dreamed up. Really look forward to another opportunity to work with Knots N Such in the future!

Amy is amazing! We worked on my wedding flowers together. She understood my vision so well and has such good taste when it comes to creating beautiful bouquets and centerpieces. She was SO responsive replying to my emails very timely. She is extremely flexible and accommodating as well. I changed my mind so many times during the design process and she was always happy to make the adjustments and to work with me to bring my vision into a reality. She was always smiling, friendly and just a great vendor who made the wedding planning process much much easier. If you have the chance to work with her, you should grab it! Very highly recommended!

A Chance Meeting

Let me first start by saying I planned my wedding in just about 5 months all while living in a completely different state and not knowing any vendors in NC. I happened to meet Amy at the wedding venue while she was waiting for her clients and I was waiting for my planner. We struck up a conversation and Amy asked what I was doing for flowers and decor for my big day. Actually I didn’t know, I had ordered some flowers from Costco that I was just planning to make work. I think we were roughly a month or so away and I wasn’t sure if I could find anyone to help with the ideas I had. Amy and I exchanged information and she soon sent me a quote. She seemed to totally understand my vision and on my wedding day she totally blew me away with how she transformed the spaces!!! I was speechless when we did the room reveal. Amy was also able to take some of the features from the ceremony to the reception area to creat the perfect backdrop for photos. I would highly recommend Amy for your floral needs! She does not disappoint at all.

Amy was so much fun to work with! Her floral designs for my wedding were perfect! I had several people remark how gorgeous the centerpieces were and how great the flowers looked and smelled! Despite a small hick-up with some drapery (poor logistical planning on my part), she made our event cohesive and beautiful!

Knots 'N Such is suppose to "Make your wedding as dazzling as your love"! This is quite amusing to me because Amy and her so called services are nothing but a JOKE.
To start, I only hired Amy because my venue required a "coordination service/wedding consultant" (her title will change depending on what you ask of her). Do not ask her to go out of her way whatsoever because she will reply with "this is not included in your package at all", "coordination services haven't begun", or her favorite " I'm a consultant only at this point"! Amy is very opinionated and pushy on her own tasteless likes and dislikes, forgetting it is not her wedding but her client's. If that didn't make the time leading up to my wedding stressful-- she would even ask "remind me of your wedding date again?''
Finally when she decided it was time for her to be a "coordinator" she barked a million lines at me of how my wedding would go and all of the things she would DO and MAKE SURE OF that day (yet another joke). As guests were arriving they were wandering all over the venue, even making their way up to the bridal suite where I was in my dress! Thank God for my maid of honor because otherwise guest would not have been seated TEN MINUTES before the ceremony started. At one point MY HUSBAND had to set out more wedding favors for the guests.The only thought she gave into helping bustle the train on my dress was handing tacky safety pins to my mother-in-law while saying she "didn't know how" to bustle it. And although she was not with me while getting dressed, this five-star coordinator let me go down the aisle WITHOUT MY VEIL!!!! I'll stop there....
However, with all of that being said.. the flowers provided were the one thing that was PERFECT!
