Krista and her associate, Ellie, were fantastic to work with. Like most weddings, a ton of things went wrong but I wouldn't have known if I hadn't been told because they were on top of everything just making it work.

I'm not sure how I'm going to get all my decorations to the venue the morning of my wedding because I can't store them there the night before? That's fine, Krista can swing by my house the morning of to collect all the stuff. My DIY arches wouldn't stand up because they're front heavy and the spikes I supplied wouldn't work? That's ok, they've got fishing wire to keep them standing and you can't even see the wire. I forgot to pack the floating candles to go inside my hurricane vases? They put extra flowers to float in them instead and you can't even tell that it wasn't on purpose.

Like I said, a lot went wrong but there was always a solution for everything that worked flawlessly. I didn't have a care in the world on my wedding day and I know for a fact a large part of that is because of this team. No one asked me any questions or needed me for anything, and any time I had an issue all I had to do was look for Krista or Ellie, tell them what's going on, and then immediately go back to having a good time.

I've already recommended Krista's team to friends who were looking for a wedding coordinator, and you can bet if I ever throw a vow renewal I'll be hiring them again.

Krista and her assistant Pam were absolutely amazing. She made our wedding go so smoothly and was always available to talk when we needed her. My wife and I are so thankful to have found her. My wife and I got married in early July of 2022 and we hired Krista to be our day of coordinator. Our ceremony was at Centennial Park in Coronado and our reception was at the University Club in downtown San Diego. We had a lot of moving pieces and multiple vendors setting up at both locations. Krista is beyond phenomenal. She helped us get through a postponement, planning during Covid, and was by our side way beyond her job description. She put up with the million emails and questions I sent and validated all of my concerns. Having the course to plan a wedding long distance until I moved to my husband's country, it was pertinent for us to find someone who could help us co-ordinate and pull together a lot of the moving parts prior to and on the wedding day itself! Finding Krista was like finding a gem... true to her business name 'Paper Jewel Events'. We hired Krista for the 'Month of Co-ordaintion' services and this was one investment that was the BEST decision my husband and I made. Krista entertained video calls and long emails until I was able to meet her in person. She has a welcoming demeanour, very flexible, accommodating and supportive. It was like planning your wedding with your close friend. She had great advice, was open to referring some other great vendors where needed, creative, professional and responsive to communication. Everyone at our wedding complimented on how smooth things went on the day and our family was so grateful they didn't have to lift a finger before, during or even after (for clean up) but instead could really enjoy the celebration. Not only does Krista co-ordinate the heck out of an event but she even did some of our stationery (signage, menus, programs and seating arrangement) as an all-inclusive element in her services. Like WOW! She was able to deliver and implement the vision we had for our day and this girl rocked!! In all honesty she needs to charge more for the Fantastic work she delivered. Krista made our day perfect! We had an unexpected rain storm day of wedding and she worked with staff at the venue to make it beautiful dedpite the weather. All the time keeping the bride, groom, vendors and guests calm. Always gave valuable input. Super attentive. Extremely reliable and dedicated.
