DJ Abel from the Wedding Entertainment Collective was beyond amazing! He played our songs and knew the vibes we were going for just from a few selected songs we chose. We got to meet with him three times and even squeezed in a last-minute meeting which he was so accommodating since we (bride and groom) were behind on the planning on our end. From the first meeting he was just so kind and we all clicked. He took song requests at the wedding which we allowed but he even asked us first if some of those songs were ok to play. Soo awesome! There was even one song my husband’s friends wanted to play from their earlier partying days at LSU that had an explicit title, and he asked me first (the bride) if it was ok to play. I was like of course yes please play it haha but I really appreciated him asking me 😊 Cannot thank Abel enough for making such an epic wedding and his setup was so cool! EVERYONE raved about DJ Abel and still does when we talk about the wedding. He played such great songs, and the dance floor was a hit! Our guests were dancing the whole night!

DJ Brian did a great job meeting our varied musical tastes. Specific song timing for special moments went off without a hitch and the background / dancefloor playlists fit our tastes and kept things light and elegant when required and brought the energy at an appropriate time. He did an awesome job helping MC the night so all our guests knew exactly what was going on when.

Music and emceeing can make or break an event. DJ Parradox and the Wedding Entertainment Collective absolutely made our wedding amazing! From the outset, Dax was easy to work with. He walked us through all the different decisions that we needed to make, while making wonderful recommendations. He has a really helpful app to organize music, and made sure each aspect of the ceremony and reception were covered.

Dax worked closely with us to make our wedding and reception exactly what we wanted it to be. He played the "must have" songs and did a great job of emceeing to ensure everything moved along on schedule. Of course, we had some last minute changes in the schedule thanks to an unexpected snowstorm, and he adjusted seamlessly. Everyone had a great time, and still talk about the dance club portion of the evening.

As an added bonus, Dax made a custom shirt in our wedding colors featuring the faces of our cats! It was such a hit!

We opted for the diamond photo booth package. The photo booth pictures were fabulous. Dax brought along an assistant to run the photo booth who is also very friendly and fun. Worth every penny and more!

Now, we just want to come up with an excuse for another party so we can hire him again!

We absolutely loved working with DJ John! He brought such a fun, positive energy to the entire process and made everything feel so smooth and seamless. We had the most incredible experience working with DJ Parradax and the Wedding Entertainment Collective. Dax takes great detail to ensure the entire process is impressively seamless and meticulously carried out. The communication was extremely clear, perfectly timed, collaborative, and just generally kind. Dax’s passion and professional experience make him the ideal wedding DJ, most importantly his technical skills, wedding knowledge, and fun personality. We were very careful when selecting our DJ because we really wanted to find someone who not only provided a fun reception, but also a logistically sound ceremony and day. From our first presentation with Dax we could tell he was the superior choice. Whereas other DJ’s offered a quick chat and minimal info, Dax had an informative presentation that covered his prewedding process for inputting every piece of music into our day, information about ceremony audio quality, microphone options, speaker types, getting audio to the videographer, song timings and rehearsal advice, lighting information, Photo Booth information, and so much more. Every last detail is accounted for and the pricing is fair. Our ceremony and wedding events were perfectly seamless and our reception was incredibly fun- all thanks to Dax. Our advice- do not under any circumstance give your friend a Spotify playlist, or hire a DJ that is not invested in your ceremony just as much as the party. DJ Brian was also an incredible assistant and photobooth attendant. You could just tell this team was genuinely happy to be included in our day and were there to do the best job possible. My husband and I booked The Wedding Entertainment Collective for our wedding and are so happy we did! We went to a meet and greet at our venue and met DJ Dax, the minute we left him we knew we wanted to book him. He was so personable and you can tell he loves what he does. We chose to do the package with everything (DJ, cold sparklers, monogram, photo booth) and loved it! He made sure he played music we had requested and made sure we had a great time. If I had to pick one word to describe John, it would be PROFESSIONAL. We reached out to John back in January 2023 to DJ our wedding reception in September 2023. He was incredibly attentive and responsive throughout the entire year, and he met with us several times throughout the year to orchestrate an effective schedule for our wedding, recommend many different music playlists for each segment of our wedding (he put a great spreadsheet together where we could drop in music playlists), and advise us on all sorts of details that go into organizing a wedding reception. He even accepted last minute music suggestions from us the morning of (which he didn't have to do). On the day of the reception, he arrived early, set up everything quickly, and owned it as our DJ. He was attentive to all of our family and friends that had questions or music recommendations as well. You could not ask for a better DJ for any event you have in mind, and John is someone you can absolutely trust. You'd be in great hands with him, and I know friends of ours will be reaching out to him for their wedding receptions in the future!

Dax was an absolutely amazing wedding DJ! Leading up to our big day, he was extremely organized and made sure everything involving him and his role were planned for. He had several meetings with us to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted from him on our wedding day. The end result of his organization was an amazing day of experience. He knew exactly what our goals as the couple was for our big day and helped us to achieve them. Our biggest wish was to have an amazing party with lots of dancing that would get everyone involved and Dax helped deliver that to the max! We rented a Photo Booth as well and all of the photos/memories from it will be cherished for the rest of our lives.
