DJ Abel from the Wedding Entertainment Collective was beyond amazing! He played our songs and knew the vibes we were going for just from a few selected songs we chose. We got to meet with him three times and even squeezed in a last-minute meeting which he was so accommodating since we (bride and groom) were behind on the planning on our end. From the first meeting he was just so kind and we all clicked. He took song requests at the wedding which we allowed but he even asked us first if some of those songs were ok to play. Soo awesome! There was even one song my husband’s friends wanted to play from their earlier partying days at LSU that had an explicit title, and he asked me first (the bride) if it was ok to play. I was like of course yes please play it haha but I really appreciated him asking me 😊 Cannot thank Abel enough for making such an epic wedding and his setup was so cool! EVERYONE raved about DJ Abel and still does when we talk about the wedding. He played such great songs, and the dance floor was a hit! Our guests were dancing the whole night! -

We had the most incredible experience working with DJ Parradax and the Wedding Entertainment Collective. Dax takes great detail to ensure the entire process is impressively seamless and meticulously carried out. The communication was extremely clear, perfectly timed, collaborative, and just generally kind. Dax’s passion and professional experience make him the ideal wedding DJ, most importantly his technical skills, wedding knowledge, and fun personality. We were very careful when selecting our DJ because we really wanted to find someone who not only provided a fun reception, but also a logistically sound ceremony and day. From our first presentation with Dax we could tell he was the superior choice. Whereas other DJ’s offered a quick chat and minimal info, Dax had an informative presentation that covered his prewedding process for inputting every piece of music into our day, information about ceremony audio quality, microphone options, speaker types, getting audio to the videographer, song timings and rehearsal advice, lighting information, Photo Booth information, and so much more. Every last detail is accounted for and the pricing is fair. Our ceremony and wedding events were perfectly seamless and our reception was incredibly fun- all thanks to Dax. Our advice- do not under any circumstance give your friend a Spotify playlist, or hire a DJ that is not invested in your ceremony just as much as the party. DJ Brian was also an incredible assistant and photobooth attendant. You could just tell this team was genuinely happy to be included in our day and were there to do the best job possible. As a wedding planner, I had the pleasure of working with DJ Dax for at a recent wedding, and I cannot speak highly enough of his exceptional talents and professionalism. DJ Dax's easy-going personality and seamless communication made the entire reception experience smooth and enjoyable.
DJ Dax demonstrated a remarkable level of professionalism and dedication to his craft. His ability to keep the crowd engaged and entertained throughout the event was truly impressive. The energy and enthusiasm he brought to the reception created an unforgettable atmosphere that kept guests on their feet and dancing all night long.

My husband and I booked The Wedding Entertainment Collective for our wedding and are so happy we did! We went to a meet and greet at our venue and met DJ Dax, the minute we left him we knew we wanted to book him. He was so personable and you can tell he loves what he does. We chose to do the package with everything (DJ, cold sparklers, monogram, photo booth) and loved it! He made sure he played music we had requested and made sure we had a great time. He had the crowd going and our guests loved how interactive he was. Thank you so much, Dax! -

Great experience with DJ Dax
We had an awesome experience with DJ Dax for our wedding. He went above and beyond with superior organization ahead of the event to determine the schedule and MC the event. We selected music using his platform and he even edited a few songs for us to get them just the way we wanted them. His sound system was excellent (I mean so good we got complements on it) - both outside (with wind blowing and everything) and the indoor one for dancing (no echo and good volume control). Dax was an awesome MC and even helped imagine our grand entrance from the balcony. Dax helped us stay on time, and on schedule and we had an awesome event with him. Highly recommend. -

We had an incredible experience with John Collazo djing our wedding in San Diego. Even after having a severe emergency on his end he went above and beyond to ensure everything went perfect and smoothly. My husband and I were so thankful to have him for our wedding as he guided us step by step through the wedding process. 10/10 would recommend him and his team. Thank you John! -

Absolutely amazing!!!! Dax blew us a way by doing a far better job than we could ever imagine. Every step of the way was personalized to our specific wants. It was all very unique and styled to our desires perfectly. He worked very closely together with us to make sure our day was perfect and special. I would give 10 stars if I could. DJ John was the dj for our wedding and he was so amazing! he worked with our budget and was so supportive in helping us plan our music and entertainment choices for our guests during our reception. All of our guests had super high compliments after the fact. i felt super comfortable in giving him free reign in music choices. it's so easy to connect with him and for him to understand your vibe! He provided the sparkler lights, and photo booth with a professional design on each strip! I couldn't have asked for more -

Our wedding was on October 12, 2019. Our DJ was Juan Collazo. He was recommended by a family member. He helped make our day go smoothly. He was very helpful, organized, and an all around great entertaining person (Very helpful that he is also bilingual). He helped us perfect our playlists for the day, organized the sequence of events for the day and was a great MC. The uplights were beautiful, along with our customized logo that was shone on the dance floor. He had everyone up and dancing. Very thankful for all his help and Highly recommend him. -

We appreciated the organization and proactive planning he maintains with couples leading up to the wedding day to help execute our vision. We appreciated his expertise in keeping the dance floor energy high, as that was a focus of our wedding experience for friends and family. We really appreciated his flexibility with the timeline for the parent dances while my dress bustle was being fixed. Overall, we were happy with the service and the guest experience. It felt like the big, crazy party that we envisioned.
The only points we were disappointed about were the more personal touches that were important to us. We were disappointed that the groom and bridal ceremony entrance songs were not the versions of the songs that we had planned. This changed the entire ambiance of our vision at the moments that we will remember forever. Fortunately, our videographer can overlay the correct songs onto our video, allowing us to relive it as we envisioned, with the acoustic and correct singers on each song. Additionally, a few of our 'must-play' songs were not played during the open dancing. Again, we still fully believe the dancing atmosphere was electric, but we were bummed that we were unable to have those additional exceptional and shared experiences with others that those songs represented to us.
