JULEP Venue is a full-service event center in sunny San Diego, California. The space has everything you need for your wedding day, from furniture to décor and more. The team is highly trained and experienced in lending a helping hand at weddings, and they will do their utmost to pamper you and your guests. Situated in Mission Hills, the venue is just a stone's throw from vibrant San Diego and is close to San Diego International Airport. Facilities and Capacity

The venue boasts 12,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space to hold your ceremony and reception festivities. The indoor area has custom-built room dividers allowing you to set up your ceremony on one side of the main hall and your reception on the opposite. Guests can mingle outside in the courtyard and patio areas to catch fresh air. There is also a fully-stocked bar that will keep everyone's glasses full throughout the celebrations. With a maximum capacity of up to 700 guests, you and your partner can have the wildest party of your imagination.

Services Offered

JULEP Venue is available for an all-day wedding service. The event center can provide furniture and table décor for your ceremony and reception. All members of their events team are formally trained in the wedding industry so that they can offer professional guidance throughout your entire planning process. Additionally, the venue has curated a list of exceptional vendors that you can add to your collection. Wonderful Wedding Venue

We worked with Julep to host our Wedding Reception. It was the most incredible experience! We had a very large wedding 280+ guests, multiple vendors and a lot of moving parts! The staff at Julep was professional, timely, attentive and so overall so wonderful. When I first walked into the space I knew it was a blank canvas that could be transformed into so many things. For me the outdoor patio and the main hall (with the addition of the drapes) created and environment that felt like I was in someone's home- dining in their dining room and then being able to step outside into their yard for a quick break or some air. It made a large reception feel intimate and romantic. It was the perfect backdrop to our evening celebration and an experience that I will be forever grateful for and never forget. I give them my highest recommendation!

Everything in One Spot? Absolutely!

As a professional wedding photographer and videographer, I can’t recommend JULEP Venue enough! Our team had the pleasure of working here twice this year, and every experience has been exceptional.

The location is unbeatable, just minutes away from iconic San Diego photography spots like Presidio Park, Balboa Park, Old Town, and Seaport Village. Despite being close to the airport, the venue is drone-friendly, making aerial shots a breeze!

JULEP offers incredible space and versatility for hosting weddings. We’ve worked with guest counts ranging from 200 to 300 people, and everything flowed seamlessly. The bridal suite and groom’s room are spacious and beautifully designed, providing the perfect backdrop for getting-ready shots and detail photos.

The outside patio is a dream for solo bridal and wedding dress photos, with stunning lighting. It can also be made private before cocktail hour, which is a thoughtful touch. The huge parking lot is ideal for events like Indian weddings, accommodating the Baraat effortlessly.

And let’s talk about the food and drinks—so trendy and delicious! Everyone on the team is beyond helpful and friendly. Special shoutout to Heather and her amazing team for their outstanding support and hospitality.

JULEP Venue truly has everything a couple and their vendors could ask for. Looking forward to capturing more beautiful memories here!

Most Incredible San Diego Wedding Experience

We were overjoyed with Julep. The staff were incredible and the venue was perfect for our wedding. There was plenty of room for catering and activation stations, a photography station and a dance floor. The team was awesome to work with and it was great to have a venue that allows people to bring in different vendors but also has a lot of the basic stuff we needed to get started. The outdoor venue portion was super flexible and the caterers were awesome. Snake Oil Cocktail did the bar and their team was very accommodating and super creative on the craft cocktail side. We had an incredible experience!

Amazing venue

This venue was so great to work with! Everyone was responsive, friendly, and so helpful. The space is so spacious and easily sit all my 270 guests, 12 person band, dj, and 360 Photo Booth without looking cramped and still had plenty of dance floor space! Would 100% percent recommend!

JULEP Venue is the best!

First of all, the venue itself is beautiful. After seeing this one there was no need to look any further, we booked almost immediately. Adding all the wedding decor only elevated the space even more. It's simple & elegant at the same time. Secondly, the JULEP team was a pleasure to work with and answered all our questions in a timely and professional manner. Heather, Marisol, Tricia (and everyone else involved) were so helpful throughout the entire process. It really felt like they were dedicated to making my special day perfect. Another thing is, they are really transparent about pricing and that made us feel really confident in our decision to book here. I am so happy and grateful that my wedding not only turned out beautiful but also went as smoothly as possible, and I know that it had a lot to do with the fact that it was held here. Snake Oil Cocktail is Amazing!

We can’t say enough great things about Snake Oil and how awesome they were to work with for our wedding. We had to postpone our original date and they made the rescheduling process seamless. They worked with us on selecting signature cocktails and building out our beer and wine menu. The cocktails were delicious, the service was phenomenal, and all of our guests are still talking about Snake Oil as a highlight of the wedding. Highly recommend them for your wedding or any event!

Amazing time

We had such an amazing time. Not only the party itself but working with the team was great! Everyone was so responsive and wanted the best for us that night. It was truly amazing! Being able to reach the team at any time was great. Probably overkill on our end but Julep understood what we wanted.

Really kind staff!

I got some awesome merchandise from them because their logo is really cool!!! Also they coordinated with me on so many changes and questions. I was seriously so annoying and they were so nice and accommodating about it. I hear there were some issues with them refusing service to some people. Idk what happened but I thought everything went fine lol and did not have any issues personally. Thank you guys!!!

Gillespie Field Hangar Wedding

This company was an absolute pleasure to work with, everyone from the front office to on-site bar service. Michelle Nakadate was so helpful, professional and thorough. Our unique venue required a little more paperwork probably than most and she made sure it was delivered. The bar service was amazing! Our guests were extremely complimentary about how efficient they were, how tasty the cocktails were, and how genuinely nice they were. During dinner all 150 guests wine glasses were poured as needed. I can’t thank everyone enough for such a wonderful experience. Thank you
