Shriners Hospitals for Children® is a health care system of 22 hospitals (19 Orthopedic Units, 4 Burn Institutes and 8 Cleft Lip/Palate Units) dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing pediatric specialty care, innovative research, and outstanding teaching programs for medical professionals.
The completed 55,000 square-foot building, with its enormous auditorium, practice area, meeting rooms, offices and restaurant, was dedicated in June 1988. Oasis, with nearly 6,000 members, stands as one of the three largest of all the 195 chapters in the world. A combined membership of more than 280,000 is governed by the Shriners International headquarters located in Tampa, Fla.

I was familiar with Oasis before choosing it for my wedding since I attended a few events and parties there in the past. Mr. Strickland knows the venue like the back of his hand and was fantastic at finding us a date and working with us throughout the year of planning. The venue came with everything our caterer, bartenders, and event staff needed and the tables and chairs were set up the night before for rehearsal. We used Oasis for our ceremony and reception and cocktail hour and everything ran smoothly. We were able to bring in our own decorator, alcohol, food, and other vendors. It was perfect for our guests and the greenery around the venue made for excellent pictures afterwards. Highly recommend!
