Morganton Community House

Morganton Community House is a banquet hall wedding venue located in Morganton, North Carolina. This elegant building was first opened in 1935 by the Morganton Women's Club as a meeting space and community event center. It has been a central part of town life ever since. The house was extensively renovated in 2014 and 2017, giving it a stylish, modern look while still retaining its historic charm. Offering four beautiful event spaces, as well as the option to rent the entire building, it makes a unique and wonderful wedding venue.

Facilities and Capacity

You may opt to exchange vows outdoors in the beautiful courtyard area, complete with a pergola, trees, flowers, and a hidden audio system. With a capacity of 75 seated guests and 150 standing, this picturesque space can also host receptions and cocktail hours. Alternatively, say "I do" in the stunning ballroom, featuring eight chandeliers, hardwood flooring, and state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment. The ballroom can accommodate 225 seated guests, and can be divided into two smaller rooms for more intimate gatherings of up to 75. After your ceremony, you can celebrate your reception in the elegant Connelly Room, offering four chandeliers, a barrel ceiling, and two working fireplaces. This room is also equipped with audiovisual technology, and the ceiling is set with an acoustic finish that provides 75-decibel noise reduction. It's the ideal setting for an incredible evening of dining and dancing with loved ones. Finally, on the cozy lobby level, there's a fully-equipped get-ready suite and space for guests to sit by the fireplace and relax.
