We had The New York Players perform at our wedding at The Tower in Boston and they were absolutely incredible. From the very first song, the dance floor was packed and it stayed that way all night. It truly felt like being at a live concert. Every musician was so talented and the energy they brought was unmatched.

A special shoutout to Mike, the band leader and drummer. He was a total professional from start to finish and made the entire planning process easy and stress free, which we appreciated so much. On the day of the wedding, everything was flawless. Our ceremony took place in the same room where the band performed, which required a lot of behind the scenes coordination and early setup. The venue is very old, so we imagine setup could have been challenging, but we never felt any of that. Everything ran seamlessly and the day unfolded perfectly.

We had acoustic guitar and flute during the ceremony, a jazz trio during cocktail hour, and a full band after dinner, and every part was amazing.

Our guests could not stop talking about how incredible the band was, both that night and in the days that followed. So many people told us it was the best wedding band they had ever experienced, and we could not agree more. We truly cannot recommend them highly enough.

We were absolutely thrilled with ceremony music, the cocktail hour music and the blow-out reception. Mike also organized an unforgettable second line to lead our guests from the cocktail hour to the reception. The day wouldn't have been the same without the New York Players, and I would absolutely recommend them to everyone. In fact, a guest at the wedding turned around and hired the band for later in the summer!

We're live music lovers and the band was one of the most important considerations for our wedding day. He doesn't miss a thing and is on top of every call and every email. Super reliable and friendly communication. He shared his expertise and recommendations with us and was incredibly accommodating of anything we requested. We are still getting compliments from friends and family on what an incredible band we had!! We are THRILLED we got to work with them...they had the dance floor full the entire night! Wish we could go back and do it all over again and without question we'd hire this band again. They are AWESOME!

Mike and the band were so great to work with and were super flexible with what we wanted to do! We picked all of our top songs and they let us sing a song that we picked out! They kept the party going all night long and the dance floor was never empty! Couldn’t recommend them enough!

The one thing my husband wanted when planning the wedding was a live band. We have heard the New York Players at other events so we knew. we had to check them out for the wedding. We researched a few bands and went to listen to some but none of them were as interactive and upbeat as this group! When we walked into see them, and saw the saxophonist on the floor playing with the crowd, we knew they would lead a good time! During the planning process, Mike was responsive and open to our thoughts. He and the band were willing to learn a few songs that weren't on their playlist for us for our ceremony and reception which made the day extra special. They did a great job for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. They had our guests up and dancing all night!

New York Players are the best wedding band! They rocked our wedding in September at the Wylder Windham Hotel. They had everyone up and dancing all night long and it was so fun.
