The band was a top priority for us because we wanted to have a very fun party and the Hark Band truly lived up to our expectations!! Erin was so professional and accommodating. She handled everything with ease and we felt so comfortable putting all the logistics in her hands. The band performed so amazing - they sounded great and they brought the BEST energy. We worked with them to tell them a couple songs we liked and a couple we didn’t and they created the perfect playlist from there. It honestly could not have worked out better. If you are looking for a fun time and a memorable band - HIRE HARK BAND. They are the best.

Music was one of the top three priority aspects for my 50 person wedding in Windham, NY. Since it was a small-ish event, I really wanted a fun band that brought party vibes and made you feel like you just saw a live show at a bar. I called Erin after she came highly recommended from our event coordinator and after a quick, fun, easy conversation on the phone we knew we had found the perfect band. Erin made the pre-event planning super easy and knew exactly what types of music we did & didn’t want. The day of the event, the band was set up ahead of schedule and was very reliable and professional - I didn’t have to worry about anything at all. They played for 3+ hours and CRUSHED it - have every single one of our 50 guests dancing the entire time. The band would come out on the dance floor and interact with the guests. It was an epic party thanks to Erin Harkes band and all of my friends and family still talk about how much fun they had with the band. Thank you for making it such an epic night Erin & team!!

Our experience with Erin Harkes and her 7-piece band was truly extraordinary. Despite limited lead time, Erin curated a musical journey that felt tailor-made for us, but we know our guests loved it too as she kept ‘em dancing till the venue had to shut down.

One of the details we are most appreciative of her for is her being able to accommodate our request and play a song by one of our favorite artists for my wife’s walk down the aisle. She arranged for a beautiful two-musician accompaniment that could not have been more perfect for the moment.

Hiring Erin was one of the 1st and absolute best decisions we made for our wedding. Erin was super communicative throughout the process. She made sure the playlist was exactly what we wanted. We even ended up choosing a 1st dance song from their song list that we never would have thought of but we LOVED IT. I can't say enough good things about the process. Day of it was more than I could have imagined. If I could go back and plan my whole wedding from scratch, I would not change a single thing about having Erin and her band do their thing. The brought the night to a whole new level. LOVE ERIN. Definitely hire this band!!!

You would be doing yourself a disservice if you don't consider Erin and her band for your wedding. They were the life of the party at our wedding, putting together a setlist that spanned decades and brought everyone to the dance floor.

We knew from the first set we listened to on YouTube that her style fit perfectly with our wedding. But as we spoke leading up to the event, we were equally impressed with Erin's attentiveness and logistical flexibility.

She surprised us by learning two of our requests, let the co-best man play harmonica for a song and -- perhaps more than anything -- made us feel special on the big day.

Erin has our strongest stamp of approval. Book her before someone else does!

We cannot say enough great things about Erin and her incredible band! We had a small 30 person wedding and they had EVERYONE dancing the entire time from dinner until they left. Honestly, I think we almost broke the dance floor, we were having so much fun. They were on the dance floor with us and made it the most memorable night. I cannot recommend them enough! Everyone is still talking about how amazing they were.

Erin was also super easy to work with. She made the entire process seamless from the first point of contact. I 10/10 recommend working with Erin and her fantastic band.

Hiring Erin was the best decision we have ever made, and she absolutely made our entire wedding. We heard her play at June Farms a year before our wedding and were in awe right away with how she captured the audience and had everyone dancing the entire night. We were not sure of much when wedding planning but knew the whole time that we had the absolute best band. Three of her band members played during cocktail hour, which was wonderful. After dinner, Erin and her band started off with a banger and had the entire room dancing for the entire night. The energy they brought was incredible, and she was out dancing and singing on the floor with us. We started a little late, and she played for two hours straight without taking a break. Our guests are still raving about our band and many have said our wedding is the best they have ever been to, for which we give all credit to Erin! Besides her incredible musical talent and comedic nature, Erin is a really incredible person and exactly who you want in your corner on one of the biggest days of your life. Thank you for everything Erin, we look forward to hearing you again!

Our daughter was married at The Mansion outside of Saratoga Springs earlier this month (10/2022). Emily and Jake, the bride and groom, researched a number of bands and settled on Erin Harkes Inc. What a perfect decision! If they keep making choices like this they'll win at everything in life. Working with Erin was SO easy, and on the big day she was a marvelous emcee, full of energy, comedy, taking the time to give words of encouragement to nervous parents or give gentle behind-the-scenes direction to make everything flow perfectly without seeming overly scripted or too-formal. And then, the MUSIC! Nice quiet background stuff, jazz, I think I heard a classical tune, during cocktail hour, but the main event during the reception... wow. We know a bit about music and this crew has CHOPS. Vocals (Erin, we're not worthy!), melodies, harmonies, rhythm, power and virtuosity (band, we're not worthy!), these folks can play! They have a huge repertoire with contemporary music that the younger guests loved, classic stuff that spans generations, wedding reception staples, and great stuff for the special dances (you slayed the father of the bride with Cat Stevens during the father-daughter dance!). And when the time was right, Erin and crew could whip up the energy to a point of, we don't know how to say it any better, just pure joy.
But the most amazing thing was how it truly felt like the band were celebrating with us, not just playing music to entertain us. Above and beyond. We've never been to a wedding where the dance floor was instantly full and stayed full the whole evening. Even the older folks who might have chosen to leave a little early didn't, the energy was just so real and compelling. If felt like "something not to be missed." No one wanted it to end.
So, brava, bravo! If we ever need to hire a band again for a special celebration, we won't waste time looking elsewhere.

Erin Harkes & her Big Band are amazing! I guarantee you that she will bring the same magic to your wedding. The music was constant. Our guests danced all night which was vey important to my husband and I. We have seen a lot of cover bands and have attended many weddings. I am NOT just saying it because Erin Harkes Big Band played at ours- but they are the best! She was very easy to work with from beginning to end. She is very receptive to phone calls, zoom meetings and emails.
About a month before our wedding I wanted to surprise my husband with my processional song and Bride’s entry song. I asked her to sing Bruno Mars Marry you (processional) & Pink’s A Million Dreams (Bride’s entry song) He was so surprised that he greeted me with tears. There were many tears from my guests as well because of how amazing Erin and her ‘Keys’ player were! ❤️❤️❤️ I would do it all over again if I could!
