Blast of a party your friends will talk about for years!
Music was one of the top three priority aspects for my 50 person wedding in Windham, NY. Since it was a small-ish event, I really wanted a fun band that brought party vibes and made you feel like you just saw a live show at a bar. I called Erin after she came highly recommended from our event coordinator and after a quick, fun, easy conversation on the phone we knew we had found the perfect band. Erin made the pre-event planning super easy and knew exactly what types of music we did & didn’t want. The day of the event, the band was set up ahead of schedule and was very reliable and professional - I didn’t have to worry about anything at all. They played for 3+ hours and CRUSHED it - have every single one of our 50 guests dancing the entire time. The band would come out on the dance floor and interact with the guests. It was an epic party thanks to Erin Harkes band and all of my friends and family still talk about how much fun they had with the band. Thank you for making it such an epic night Erin & team!! -

Our experience with Erin Harkes and her 7-piece band was truly extraordinary. Despite limited lead time, Erin curated a musical journey that felt tailor-made for us, but we know our guests loved it too as she kept ‘em dancing till the venue had to shut down.
Erin made us feel at ease, spending time talking to us and going over her vast song list, taking time to understand us and our musical tastes. Her originals (which are fantastic), seamlessly woven into the performance, added a special touch.
Our wedding had a lot of moving parts and we appreciated her and her band’s flexibility to go with the flow and work with us, the other vendors, the venue and our guests to keep the celebration vibrant.
One of the details we are most appreciative of her for is her being able to accommodate our request and play a song by one of our favorite artists for my wife’s walk down the aisle. She arranged for a beautiful two-musician accompaniment that could not have been more perfect for the moment.
Erin and her band exceeded expectations, delivering a personal and unforgettable performance. For a band that goes the extra mile, Erin Harkes is the perfect choice, as her band's infections energy infused our wedding with exciting, danceable, and meaningful moments.

Erin Harkes & her Big Band are amazing! I guarantee you that she will bring the same magic to your wedding. The music was constant. Our guests danced all night which was vey important to my husband and I. We have seen a lot of cover bands and have attended many weddings. I am NOT just saying it because Erin Harkes Big Band played at ours- but they are the best! She was very easy to work with from beginning to end. She is very receptive to phone calls, zoom meetings and emails.
About a month before our wedding I wanted to surprise my husband with my processional song and Bride’s entry song. I asked her to sing Bruno Mars Marry you (processional) & Pink’s A Million Dreams (Bride’s entry song) He was so surprised that he greeted me with tears. There were many tears from my guests as well because of how amazing Erin and her ‘Keys’ player were! ❤️❤️❤️ I would do it all over again if I could!Erin Harkes Inc.'s reply:

Hiring Erin was one of the 1st and absolute best decisions we made for our wedding. Erin was super communicative throughout the process. She made sure the playlist was exactly what we wanted. We even ended up choosing a 1st dance song from their song list that we never would have thought of but we LOVED IT. I can't say enough good things about the process. Day of it was more than I could have imagined. If I could go back and plan my whole wedding from scratch, I would not change a single thing about having Erin and her band do their thing. The brought the night to a whole new level. LOVE ERIN. Definitely hire this band!!! -

You would be doing yourself a disservice if you don't consider Erin and her band for your wedding. They were the life of the party at our wedding, putting together a setlist that spanned decades and brought everyone to the dance floor.
We knew from the first set we listened to on YouTube that her style fit perfectly with our wedding. But as we spoke leading up to the event, we were equally impressed with Erin's attentiveness and logistical flexibility.
She surprised us by learning two of our requests, let the co-best man play harmonica for a song and -- perhaps more than anything -- made us feel special on the big day.
Erin has our strongest stamp of approval. Book her before someone else does! -

We are so grateful we found Erin Harkes and her band! They made our wedding truly unforgettable. Erin was so sweet and caring, super responsive - and we generally felt like we had her in our corner looking out for us the whole evening. :) She took all of our suggestions and was absolutely phenomenal at each and every one - the band was super friendly and unbelievably talented! The band was honestly both of our favorite part of the night. We wish we could have another wedding or event to have them play again because it was such an amazing time. They nailed the music for the ceremony, it was super beautiful and romantic, and then brought so much energy and life to the reception. Words can not describe how fantastic Erin Harkes and the Band truly are on stage - As firm believers that music can make or break a party, we knew that we needed to have Erin and the entire band perform at our wedding. Absolutely a MUST have - they sound fantastic, and they are interactive with their performances which made a lasting impression on us and all of our guests. Plus, she is willing to travel, very responsive, and hilarious- Needless to say... we are Erin Harkes fans for life! THANK YOU!

When we decided to get married, the Erin Harkes Band was an obvious choice for us. We have been entertained by Erin and her band for quite some time and love the energy they always give off at their shows. Erin met with us prior to the wedding to discuss everything we wanted and to ensure us that she would personally make sure that we would remember this night forever. Our wedding was a bit less formal by choice. We preferred a casual celebration with our favorite people in the yard. The band still treated the event as a formal wedding, they came early to prepare, meet the entire family and they were extremely professional. With our yard visible to the folks in our neighborhood, many set up their own backyard gathering and enjoyed the band from afar. The Erin Harkes Band continues to be the talk of our neighborhood. For months after, anytime we ran into a neighbor while out on our dog walks, we were always congratulated on our marriage and an immediate follow-up question was “wow that band was awesome, who were they?” Lastly, I requested Erin to sing “Stand By Me” as our song to walk out to. Although it wasn’t in the never-ending options of songs that she provided, she shrugged it off with a “yep, I can do that.” She did it exactly the way that I had requested. Perfect! I didn’t want to walk out because I knew she’d wind down the song for the ceremony. They really were perfect. We want to do it all over again! -

Incredible Band
Zero regrets hiring Erin! She was highly responsive in all communications, and really worked hard to make our big day as personalized, stress free, and fun as possible. We would recommend her over and over again without hesitation. -

In a whirlwind of chaos Erin Harkes was an anchor of confidence and reliability. She was the most reassuring part of trying to pull of a wedding in the midst of Covid. She was extremely professional and accommodating, adding a few of our favorite songs to her repertoire and even learned the song for our first dance. The cost was very fair, and the performance had the floor bouncing from start to finish which is why we have referred her to multiple family members and friends. My best advice would be to let her read and play to the crowd/audience; she’s a consummate professional that will make your next event unforgettableErin Harkes Inc.'s reply:

We hired Erin for a private event and she was top notch all the way around. She was very accommodating to our musical tastes, extremely professional and most importantly, rocked! One of our friends at the party booked her for their wedding reception on the spot. I make it a point to try and see her at her numerous live events and will absolutely work with her again. -

Easy, great decision to make!
We had Erin Harkes sing our first dance song at our wedding. She was easy to work with, enthusiastic and was engaging with us consistently to ensure she gave us exactly what we wanted for our first dance. Erin consistently is professional and her talent really makes it a no brainer to have her be involved in a big special occasion such as a wedding. Also, my parents couldn’t say enough about how impressed they were with how Erin sounded! -

This band played for several events we held. They give everything to the performance and are very talented. Music varies from classic rock to pop country and light rap. The performance was well worth the money spent. Our guests had a great time every time.Erin Harkes Inc.'s reply:
