Shawn Gillie Entertainment is a wedding DJ and entertainment company based out of Albany, New York. They offer DJ services for weddings and all occasions throughout the upstate NY area. Shawn and his staff are extremely professional and do their very best to create a fun and memorable atmosphere for your day. To ensure your DJ is prepared, they send out a questionnaire prior to your wedding to collect all of the information they’ll need. This will cover all of the basics on their end so you aren't distracted from your guests and the dance floor on your big day.
Experience
Shawn has been performing at weddings and other special events since 1999. He has also been on radio stations throughout the Albany area since the late 1990s. You can currently hear him on Albany's Number 1 Hit Music Station, FLY 92.3. He's also been on such as B95, 107.7 GNA, 100.9 The Cat, Kiss FM, and more.
Services Offered
Shawn Gillie Entertainment plays a wide variety of musical genres based on you and your guests' likes. Although he works in Top 40 radio the songs he chooses to play at your reception will be based on your preferences. You are welcome to make a must-play list, a do-not-play list, or simply let Shawn use his years of experience to mix it up for the crowd. Leading up to your wedding, you’ll have a consultation to discuss all of the details of your event as well as other services you may need. Shawn Gillie Entertainment provides a mobile DJ unit that can be easily moved. If you are having your wedding ceremony on the same grounds as your reception but in a different location, it is not a problem for them to provide music for both as long as there is power close by. The following additional equipment is available for your wedding day:

What truly set Shawn apart was his willingness to work with us to include some less conventional events, like a live performance and an air guitar contest. These unique touches brought so much fun and energy to the evening! Even when our timeline was delayed due to a venue issue, Shawn graciously stayed an extra half hour to ensure our party continued without a hitch.
We also purchased the LED light dance party package, and it did not disappoint! Our guests are still raving about it, claiming it was the best dancing they’ve ever experienced at a wedding.
