Nelson and his team were just INCREDIBLE. We held a wedding at the Harold Pratt House in Manhattan, and as a couple who loves to dance, the dancing part of our reception was one of the most important parts of the wedding! We were looking for a DJ who could really cater not only to the millennial crowd, but who could get everyone (older and younger) involved on the dance floor. From booking Nelson, all the way to the night of our wedding, he was extremely professional, extremely responsive via email or phone, and he put us at ease. We didn't feel like we needed to do much work beyond hiring him and putting him in touch with the venue - he took care of the rest! This was very helpful, because we had so many other "to-dos". We sent him a playlist to give him an idea of what type of music we like and were looking for, and then he used his creative talents on the night of our wedding to keep people moving and grooving for 3 hours! He was flexible when we asked to adjust start time and end time for the event and generally made it feel like we weren't a burden when we contacted him with questions. On the night of the wedding, I really could tell that him and his assistant DJ like the work they do and take pride in their work -- it felt like they were grooving with us, and I think that really adds a lot to the vibes and sets forth a good energy!
