I found it pretty hard to pick a photographer, so I’m so glad we ultimately went with Neil GT! We didn’t feel overly posed or stiff, and I’m so happy with how the photos turned out. Neil was great! We chose Neil because he came highly recommended by our venue, and he had a lot of shots from our venue on his website, and we love the soft, romantic feel of his photos. The planning process was easy and he was very easy to communicate with. He kept our energy calm but excited on the day of the wedding and he made sure we got all the shots we wanted, but it never felt rushed or stressful, and all the shots turned out amazing! He was also very professional about dealing with getting photos of our families with some complicated dynamics. We couldn't recommend Neil more for an OBX wedding photographer!

Working with Neil and Lisa was effortless. Neil was very responsive throughout the entire process and my fiancé and I knew exactly what to expect and when. He was also very knowledgeable about weddings in the area and really helped up with out with our timeline and what package would be best for us. This made it very helpful for us in the planning process. On the day of the wedding Neil and Lisa made us feel very comfortable and the flow of the wedding pictures was perfect! We were so happy with how everything turned out. Our pictures came out very authentic and natural which is what we wanted. Nothing felt too posed. They were also very flexible. We had originally planned to have our wedding outside on the beach, but weather did not allow for that. We moved the wedding into the house and it was a smaller area. Neil and Lisa were flexible and fit right in and weren't noticeable during our ceremony/reception! Even though the weather didn't work out for our ceremony, they were able to capture shots of everything we wanted including beach pictures and everything was true to the time frame/timeline Neil suggested. Their website is really nice and easy to use as well - a lot of our friends and family commented on that. I would highly recommend working with Neil GT Photography!

I can't express enough how amazing our photos came out for our wedding! I really wanted a lot of photos of all of our guests dancing and having fun, and that is exactly what I got. Neil and his team did an amazing job of making my husband and me feel comfortable during the entire experience (we normally do not like take pictures like this haha). They handled unexpected rain so amazingly and were even able to get my husband and I onto the beach during the 20 minutes that the rain cleared to get unbelievable pictures. Definitely recommend!!!! Could not be happier.

Neil and Lisa were the photographers at our June 2021 wedding in OBX. We met them at the OBX vendors expo the previous year and I loved not just their work, but their demeanor as well. You will spend a lot of time with your photographers on the day of the wedding and I think a lot of people forget that you want someone who fits your personality! Lisa and Neil were able to stay very calm and professional in a hot and chaotic environment (we had over 20 people in our bridal party) and it made for a very enjoyable experience. Our photos came back phenomenal and the best part was we didn't have to dedicate hours of our wedding day to pose for pictures. Thank you Neil and Lisa!!
