  Highly recommend Neil & Lisa!

  Neil GT came recommended from both my planner and venue! Neil and Lisa were both so professional and kind. I found it pretty hard to pick a photographer, so I’m so glad we ultimately went with Neil GT! We didn’t feel overly posed or stiff, and I’m so happy with how the photos turned out. They also had them ready in only around a month and a half. Definitely recommend Neil GT for photos you can always treasure!

  Wonderful Photographer and Experience

  Working with Neil and Lisa was effortless. Neil was very responsive throughout the entire process and my fiancé and I knew exactly what to expect and when. He was also very knowledgeable about weddings in the area and really helped up with out with our timeline and what package would be best for us. This made it very helpful for us in the planning process. On the day of the wedding Neil and Lisa made us feel very comfortable and the flow of the wedding pictures was perfect! We were so happy with how everything turned out. Our pictures came out very authentic and natural which is what we wanted. Nothing felt too posed. They were also very flexible. We had originally planned to have our wedding outside on the beach, but weather did not allow for that. We moved the wedding into the house and it was a smaller area. Neil and Lisa were flexible and fit right in and weren't noticeable during our ceremony/reception! Even though the weather didn't work out for our ceremony, they were able to capture shots of everything we wanted including beach pictures and everything was true to the time frame/timeline Neil suggested. Their website is really nice and easy to use as well - a lot of our friends and family commented on that. I would highly recommend working with Neil GT Photography!

  Beautiful!!!

  I can't express enough how amazing our photos came out for our wedding! I really wanted a lot of photos of all of our guests dancing and having fun, and that is exactly what I got. Neil and his team did an amazing job of making my husband and me feel comfortable during the entire experience (we normally do not like take pictures like this haha). They handled unexpected rain so amazingly and were even able to get my husband and I onto the beach during the 20 minutes that the rain cleared to get unbelievable pictures. Definitely recommend!!!! Could not be happier.

  Amazing pictures!

  Neil and Lisa were so great to work with. They knew my husband and I were not great at posing, and they directed us perfectly and made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day. The pictures were absolutely amazing!

  Great wedding photographer!

  Neil was great! We chose Neil because he came highly recommended by our venue, and he had a lot of shots from our venue on his website, and we love the soft, romantic feel of his photos. The planning process was easy and he was very easy to communicate with. He kept our energy calm but excited on the day of the wedding and he made sure we got all the shots we wanted, but it never felt rushed or stressful, and all the shots turned out amazing! He was also very professional about dealing with getting photos of our families with some complicated dynamics. We couldn't recommend Neil more for an OBX wedding photographer!

  Neil and Lisa were the photographers at our June 2021 wedding in OBX. We met them at the OBX vendors expo the previous year and I loved not just their work, but their demeanor as well. You will spend a lot of time with your photographers on the day of the wedding and I think a lot of people forget that you want someone who fits your personality! Lisa and Neil were able to stay very calm and professional in a hot and chaotic environment (we had over 20 people in our bridal party) and it made for a very enjoyable experience. Our photos came back phenomenal and the best part was we didn't have to dedicate hours of our wedding day to pose for pictures. Thank you Neil and Lisa!!

  We could not be more pleased with Neil and Lisa's photography for our wedding day! We had a horrible storm on our wedding day and were concerned our photos would be affected. Neil and Lisa did an amazing job capturing beautiful shots where you cannot even notice the weather was awful. We are so thankful we found them! They made the wedding day so relaxed and captured such beautiful candid shots.

  Neil & his wife, Lisa, were spectacular. It is not always easy to communicate with people when 6hours apart but Neil made it happen. He always remembered everything specific to my wedding leading up to the big day. They are very welcoming to when visiting their office and they make you think of the little things. During the day of, they helped capture the sweet moments. Helped us develop a plan to avoid us seeing each other before hand. Super excited to receive our pictures back! would definitely recommend them to others!

Throughout the months leading up to our wedding, they were efficient and on the ball with necessary comms and planning. When we met them in person, we loved their vibe and their ability to really hear us out. When it came time for the big day, they were an absolute joy to work with. They had the perfect blend of being professional and lighthearted. We had so much fun shooting with them and felt right at home. Our photos were delivered in a timely fashion and we are in love with every single one.   Wow, wow and WOW again!!! We were blown away by the photos, looking through them brought us right back in time to this magical day. Thank you Lisa and Neil for capturing every emotion, every belly laugh, every tear, and everything in between!

  I met Neil at the OBX Wedding Expo and SO glad that I did! Neil and Lisa nailed it! They captured our wedding in July. I can't believe the precious moments that they photographed.   Originally, my husband and I hired Neil to take our engagement pictures in the Outer Banks. I had no real recommendations and chose a photographer based on their available portfolios. In a market saturated with posed and over-worked wedding photography, Neil GT Photography is a rare find. Neil's photography is captivating, natural, and genuine -- but above all, beautiful. We had another photographer in mind for our wedding, but our minds were changed completely after working with Neil and his wife, Lisa. We were able to use Neil GT Photography again for our wedding in Virginia (over a year later), and we are beyond pleased with the results. I cannot say in just a few words how absolutely impressed I am with Neil GT Photography. I am so proud to show our wedding pictures. Neil and Lisa are an absolute joy to work with -- they are both friendly and professional. We felt very confident in their knowledge and abilities, which made us feel relaxed and able to focus on the day.   Originally, my husband and I hired Neil to take our engagement pictures in the Outer Banks. I had no real recommendations and chose a photographer based on their available portfolios. In a market saturated with posed and over-worked wedding photography, Neil GT Photography is a rare find. Neil's photography is captivating, natural, and genuine -- but above all, beautiful. We had another photographer in mind for our wedding, but our minds were changed completely after working with Neil and his wife, Lisa. We were able to use Neil GT Photography again for our wedding in Virginia (over a year later), and we are beyond pleased with the results. I cannot say in just a few words how absolutely impressed I am with Neil GT Photography. I am so proud to show our wedding pictures.   Neal and his wife Lisa were a joy to work with. They were so easy to talk to and planned everything out prior to the wedding day to ensure all pictures flowed quickly and smoothly and no one was left out. Lisa was with the groomsmen during the pre wedding prep and they all loved how she quietly fit in with the group. Neal was with me capturing the momemtnt before I walked down the aisle. He was so sweet and creative , and was able to capture from very special moments.
  Neal was very creative and calm with all of our pictures. He asked if we were feeling adventures , and of course we were, so we got some aging sunset shots over the sound. I can't wait to see how they turn out. They were a joy to spend time with and have at our wedding, I would love to hang out with them! they were so quiet and blended in, I forgot they were at the wedding. I can't say enough good things and I can't wait to share our wedding memories through these photographs!

  I highly recommend Neil and Lisa! We met with them the week of our wedding and felt comfortable with them from the start--they're a great team and really worked to get to know us and what we were planning for our wedding. Our event was somewhat non-traditional--a small ceremony in a beach house. Siince our event was so small, we only hired them for 3 hours -- for the same price as other photographers in the area, we were able to book both Neil and Lisa for our event, rather than just one photographer.
  
  The day of the wedding was grey and raining, blowing 30-40 MPH winds. I was actually quite upset about the weather, and also concerned about the photos, thinking that we'd be limited to the house and I really wanted some great beach shots. After taking our portraits, Neil and Lisa convinced us to brave the wind and rain for some shots outside on the beach--totally worth it! The pictures were absolutely gorgeous. They were so much fun to work with and made us feel completely comfortable. I can't say enough about how wonderful they were to work with and how thrilled we were with the photos.
