Founded in 2009 by owner and lead planner Kanani "Nani" Young, Nani Events has become one of San Diego's trusted names in wedding planning, design, and event management.
Nani began her career as a Special Events Coordinator at one of San Diego's largest wedding and conference venues, where she gained invaluable experience managing weddings and large-scale events. After seeing firsthand how much couples needed someone they could trust to guide them through the planning process, she founded Nani Events with one simple mission: to create beautiful celebrations while allowing couples and their families to be fully present on one of the most important days of their lives.
As the business continued to grow, Nani expanded her experience by founding and owning a banquet and event venue, which she successfully operated for eight years. Managing both the venue and planning sides of the industry gave her a unique perspective that few planners have, allowing her to anticipate challenges before they arise and create a seamless experience for every client.
Today, Nani Events has evolved into a full-service event company, offering Wedding Management, Full-Service Planning, Design & Styling, Floral Design, Rentals, and Event Décor. With an ever-growing inventory of carefully curated décor and rental pieces, couples enjoy the convenience of working with one experienced team for nearly every aspect of their celebration.
