From the time I was seven- I fell in love with photography. I loved the art of it and being able to freeze time. In 2006, I met my husband, who swore he hated having his picture taken, well, little did he know! In 2009, him and I got married, and I officially started the business! Then in 2012 I took the business full time, Moments by Heather Edmunds Photography.

When you support a small business, you're supporting a family. My family consists of myself, my husband, our two boys and two dogs. When we are not working, we love to travel and explore. We have weekly family game nights, we love taking hikes, going for walks, and just being outside. My husband is a professional firefighter, and we are also super active in the community.

Confessions:

• I'm pretty sure I was a beach baby in another life, because I seem to always feel like the beach is calling my name... but then again, I'm sure I'm not the only one ;)
• I'm terrified of snakes, so no laughing when working in fields as I'm constantly checking my surroundings! {ha}
• I LOVE all things mushy. I'm a lovey-dovey, hopeless romantic who absolutely loves seeing the chemistry in sessions.
• Once you become a client, I may still call you a client- but you actually become family ;)

Over the years, I've dedicated countless hours and money to constantly learning my craft, and creating a irreplaceable and memorable experience for my clients to which they will want to share with their friends. Referrals are the bread and butter of my business, and without amazing people like you- I wouldn't be here today! Every single person I photograph brings something new to the plate and inspires me in a different way.

If you have ever worked with me before, you know already the silly shenanigans I get into to capture the genuine smiles and reactions. You may have seen me rolling around trying to capture a worm's eye view of a mushy couple. Or maybe you saw me making weird and silly faces at children trying to get them to laugh for their portraits while mom and dad looked at each other thinking, "Who's this crazy person?" Or maybe you caught me on one of my fierce and ferocious days snapping glamour shots of high school seniors workin' it for their senior portraits. Seriously, high schoolers are so stylish these days! You should have seen me in high school trying to figure out how a flat ironed worked and whether plaid really went with polka dots (they do not go together, FYI).
