So we had Scott/SSS Studio do photography and videography for our rehearsal dinner for 1.5 hours and a full 10 hours on our wedding day. Scott traveled to Chetola in Blowing Rock, NC to join us for our wedding weekend there. He’d never been to Chetola before so he even went out of his way to show up early and explore and familiarize himself with the grounds ahead of time. He also recruited his friend, Richard, from FL who has worked with him multiple times. Together they were quite the dynamic duo and able to cover a lot! Not to mention, their personalities are a lot of fun and we got to share a lot of laughs throughout our time together. I love creative photography and videography, and they definitely were adventurous when it came to getting unique shots and videos! I even had a photo dash during the reception where we ran from table to table to get fast, fun shots with all of the guests and you better believe he and Richard ran with us to each table! And willingly at that! Not to mention, they ran backwards through a sparkler arch in the dark- whatever it took to get the great shots, they were willing to do it! It rained a lot during our weekend, but they worked with us around the bouts of heavy rainfall and took advantage of when the lighting was just right- the rain didn’t scare them off and they came prepared to photograph and video no matter the weather. They also stole us away several times because Scott and Richard would see a spot with awesome lighting or a scenario that would be super cool and they’d go explore it with us- which I absolutely loved! I wanted a photographer that would do things like this to capture amazing photos and Scott and Richard most definitely weren’t scared to take us on little adventures for epic shots! I have only gotten a few absolutely stunning teaser photos so far, but am sooo excited to get the rest. Unfortunately, it will be several more weeks as they most certainly have a TON of footage to comb through, but I have no doubts I’m going to be absolutely delighted and in love with what they produce for us! Scott and Richard were overall spectacular to work with. They are the type of people you’d want to hang out and grab a beer with sometime even! Haha! They know how to make you feel comfortable and work with you seamlessly throughout your entire day. I would highly recommend SSS Studio to anyone seeking photography/videography for their special event or wedding day! I’ll also include the teaser photos Scott has given me so far!

Scott and his team went WAY beyond our expectations. Their attentiveness throughout our wedding day was unmatched and our photos are truly more than we could’ve ever imagined. The turn around time for our photos was amazing and he helped us through the whole process of learning how to download and print them. Scott has a great artistic eye, a positive attitude, and professional communication. Especially as a bride, planning her own wedding, he was super helpful in creating a timeline that we based the whole day off of. Scott was a tremendous resource and photographer for my surprise engagement photoshoot in St. Augustine this past summer! He provided me with several great options to consider for the location and was very open to my own ideas. He communicated effectively throughout the planning process and the photos he took were stunning! I highly recommend him!

I can’t recommend Scott with SSS Studios enough. He went above and beyond for us and our special day. Scott also took the time to scout out the original place we were set to get married at but it still unfortunately had too much damage left over from the hurricane. We picked a different location and he took the time to travel there and take videos of the Waterfall Park. It turned out to be a perfect spot and the photos he took are absolutely beautiful. Scott worked with our timeframe and our budget. We could not be happier with the way everything turned out.

We hired Scott for photography of our wedding that took place on our back deck, along the river. Scott took fabulous photos of us in and around our home, as well as our cake, rings and more. He captured all of our most special moments as part our sunset wedding perfectly with gorgeous, hard-to-capture photos that we will treasure. Scott was very professional and well prepared. In addition to photographing the wedding, he also streamed it for our guests that couldn't make it. The entire evening is documented in incredible photos and video. I highly recommend Scott!

Five stars across the board; loved our photos and experience working with Scott! Scheduling his services was one of the easiest parts of planning the wedding, and the cost we worked out was fair and accounted for traveling. We loved interacting with him and have been in love with our pictures every day since receiving them back after the wedding. He thought of so many ways to utilize our meaningful venue (the place we met, my mother in law's property), and captured not just great photos of us but also of our family and friends. I can't say enough about how wonderful the experience was.
