Wedding Photography in Charlotte

She was very communicative, checking in with us throughout the time leading up to the wedding, and was always willing to call to discuss the timeline and kinds of photos we wanted. She arrived early to assess the venue and collect information. She was very enthusiastic, and did an excellent job of sticking to our timeline. She got amazing natural photos of the reception and in the process of getting our other photos. She did SUCH a great job with editing the photos. The lighting was perfect, and it made it look like my husband and I were dancing alone and intimately at times, despite there being a bunch of people on the side. Loved the photos she got of the flower girls! She also found time to get great photos of our guests and bridal party along the way. Very kind and supportive with our desires, and she gave us a 1350 photo portfolio. If anything, it has beeb difficult to narrow down which ones to use, since so many of the photos are so great. Could not have hoped for a better quality photographer!

Keith and Lakyn are so incredible! They made my husband and I feel so comfortable the whole process by cracking jokes with us and telling us funny things to say. Keith always responded so quickly and was so accommodating with timeline changes. They have amazing personalities and are so so much fun to work with. I cannot recommend them enough and will most definitely use them in the future.

Steph and Steph recently photographed our engagement shoot as well as our wedding in Asheville and were absolutely amazing. Both were fun and easy to work. The pictures have turned out amazing!

Christian and Tommy were absolutely excellent. I am so so happy with all of the photos we got back. They were exactly what I envisioned. Christian and tommy made my husband and I feel so comfortable during the process and really captured our vision. They made photos feel fun and not staged and I love their work.

McKenna did our engagement pictures, a separate fun project, as well as our wedding pictures and was INCREDIBLE. She made us feel so at ease, was professional yet so fun, and delivered us absolutely beautiful pictures (we heard from many people that our engagement pictures were the best they'd ever seen!). She did a gorgeous job of capturing the emotion and really giving us photos that feel like a time capsule right back to each small moment. Anyone in the Charleston or Charlotte area - you will not regret choosing McKenna for all of your photography needs!

I had the pleasure of working with Ashley for an elopement shoot and it was a wonderful experience. Ashley is so incredibly kind and easy going that it felt like I was shooting with an old friend. She was amazing at directing us on how to pose. The photos turned out better than I could have imagined. I am so thankful to Ashley for the wonderful experience and for photos that I'll treasure for a lifetime.

Morgan was such a joy to work with for our engagement pictures and returned our photos in a timely manner. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and we had the best time during the shoot! Our photos came out looking like they came from an editorial magazine and we were just obsessed!!!

As soon as I found Lee and Alchemist Weddings, I knew I wanted him as our photographer and he did not disappoint. His communication and the way he seamlessly blended with us and our wedding party truly added to the experience.

We can't recommend Beca enough. She is cool, calm, and collected--the perfect energy to have around on your wedding day! My husband and I were so worried about feeling awkward in front of the cameras and Beca made everything a breeze! She is amazing at making you feel comfortable and at giving you direction. She also managed to wrangle some really large family photos for us (which we really appreciated!) and was willing to accommodate a special request of ours to take some photos on film. She truly went above and beyond in so many ways and was an incredible support to us when their were hiccups in the evening. Truly amazing at what she does!

We had a large wedding party—with young children and even our dogs—and Matt handled it all with ease. He made everyone feel right at home while maintaining complete professionalism throughout the day. The photos were absolutely incredible, capturing not just the moments but the magic and emotion of our special day. We couldn’t be happier with the experience and the results.
