Wedding Photography in Charlotte

I had the pleasure of working with Ashley for an elopement shoot and it was a wonderful experience. Ashley is so incredibly kind and easy going that it felt like I was shooting with an old friend. She was amazing at directing us on how to pose. The photos turned out better than I could have imagined. I am so thankful to Ashley for the wonderful experience and for photos that I'll treasure for a lifetime.

Keith and Lakyn are so incredible! They made my husband and I feel so comfortable the whole process by cracking jokes with us and telling us funny things to say. Keith always responded so quickly and was so accommodating with timeline changes. They have amazing personalities and are so so much fun to work with. I cannot recommend them enough and will most definitely use them in the future.

Gianna was wonderful photographer! She was very efficient and provided great feedback/tips to ensure everyone looked their best. She has a wonderful eye for detail and arranged the group photos so that they were posed beautifully. The day of photos of the ceremony and reception captured the happy mood and fun of the day. Highly recommend using Gianna for your events!

We had a large wedding party—with young children and even our dogs—and Matt handled it all with ease. He made everyone feel right at home while maintaining complete professionalism throughout the day. Mari was a fantastic photographer. She was extremely efficient and adaptable when we had some unexpected rain. Our pictures were beautiful and really captured the joy we felt throughout our wedding day. Her presence was calming and we were confident that she would get all the shots we needed. 10/10 recommend.

Lee’s photos are incredible! We were so happy with our wedding photos. He was great to work with on the wedding day, and we have already gotten so many compliments on how beautiful the pictures are. If you’re looking for the documentary style that really captures the emotions of the day, Lee absolutely has the eye for it!

Morgan was such a joy to work with for our engagement pictures and returned our photos in a timely manner. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and we had the best time during the shoot! Our photos came out looking like they came from an editorial magazine and we were just obsessed!!!

We can't recommend Beca enough. She is cool, calm, and collected--the perfect energy to have around on your wedding day! My husband and I were so worried about feeling awkward in front of the cameras and Beca made everything a breeze! She is amazing at making you feel comfortable and at giving you direction. She also managed to wrangle some really large family photos for us (which we really appreciated!) and was willing to accommodate a special request of ours to take some photos on film. She truly went above and beyond in so many ways and was an incredible support to us when their were hiccups in the evening. Truly amazing at what she does!

As a friend of the bride who helped coordinate the wedding, I can honestly say LightStrikes was amazing to work with. They were recommended as great Charlotte based photography team, incredibly organized, easy-going, and made everyone feel comfortable, which allowed the guests to truly have fun while still keeping the day on track. The bridal editorial portraits were absolutely beautiful! Highly recommended.
