Professional. Passionate. Organized. Radiant. There will never be enough words to convey how much Tara brings to the table. I have written multiple rough drafts to sum up how exceptional Tara is at what she does since we’ve gotten married and I hope this will at least come close.

Tara is gifted at what she does. She is one of those people in life who has picked her profession perfectly. As a wedding planner, she makes wedding planning an absolute breeze. She is organized, communicative, and best of all: genuinely passionate about creating the weekend of your dreams. She leaves no stone unturned, no logistic hazy, and every vendor double and triple accounted for. And she does it all with boundless enthusiasm and a zest for love. We felt like we gained not just a planner but a friend and a cheerleader along the way.

Our wedding was the best weekend of our lives and it would not have been possible without her. As a bride and groom, there was never a moment where we did not feel heard or taken care of. But beyond just us, the overwhelming response from our guests were that it was one of the best weddings they had ever attended. And we pass that compliment directly to Tara. Tara not only takes care of you as a couple but thinks about your wedding from every angle: for your guests, for your vendors, for your venue, for everyone. She is worth her weight in gold and then some.

And that’s before we even begin to touch the absolute WIZARDRY she brings when it comes to florals. We cried genuine tears of joy walking into our venue on our wedding day. With Tara, anything is possible. Whatever floral fantasy you can think of it, multiply it by ten and that is what she delivers. Her creativity and style are like no one else’s. You will not be able to find what Tara can do anywhere else. Her work takes my breath away. I will think about the flowers on my wedding day for the rest of my life (trying not to cry all over again writing this review).

To any couples thinking about hiring Tara, DO NOT DELAY. You are not just hiring a planner, but hiring the wedding fairy godmother of your dreams. You will be so grateful to have her sprinkle her magic on your special day. The magic she gave to us will stay with us forever.

We are so grateful for everything Tara and Mixed Company NYC did for us. Her and her team took care of everything and made our special day magical. Everything from planning to the final details to the tear down was taken care of. She eliminated so much stress for us. Everyone was in awe of how they transformed the space. We decided to move ahead with a wedding during a very difficult & emotional time for my family. We had to pivot on very short notice for the date, the venue & decor, the service..just about every aspect of a wedding. (In some cases days before.) And to complicate things, we weren’t always accessible to provide input or direction. So… we put our faith in Tara’s hands to curate this very special day and what talented hands they are.
Tara and her team attended to every minute detail - there was nothing left to chance. Things ran smoothly, the venue was beyond exquisite and our guests were treated to a celebration beyond their expectations. Tara’s energy and enthusiasm brought joy to the celebration. Quite simply, we
couldn’t have done it without her and her team.

Tara was absolutely AMAZING. From the moment we connected, we knew she was the one. She is such a beautiful and talented person who is passionate about her work. From start to finish, her energy was joyful and grounding. My husband and I are not organized, and she kept us on top of everything, while helping create a theme and vision that was executed beyond our wildest dreams. She has a WIDE range of connections that she trusts and also made our wedding what it was. From the Caterer to the DJ and the photo booth company, she handled all those communications and worked flawlessly with each team. Her attention to detail was impeccable. She was patient and created a beautiful experience that we will never forget.

Tara was excellent. She quite literally saved the day. Our biggest mistake was bringing her in later in the process. She not only handled the florals but also organized every other vendor we had. She was incredibly communicative. She worked with us on extending the impact of our budget. She came through with a spectacular event that blew us and the guests away. She listened to my partner and made her vision come to life rather than imposing an alternative version. She was always up-beat and made us feel special - calling us her “darlings”. She is above all else, an incredible human being as well. You cannot go wrong with this decision. We thank you, Tara and team!

Tara and her team are among the very best! Starting with her infectious energy making a daunting process enjoyable and fun, to her creativity and professionalism, I can’t recommend Tara enough. Tara is a one stop shop - she created the prefect logo that was presented on our wedding invitation and persisted throughout our wedding weekend, designed all graphic elements and collateral that were perfectly cohesive with the entire weekend… and where do I start with the decor?! I gave the direction of “sophisticated and elegant, with a touch of whimsy” and Tara gave me that and so much more. The decor was beyond my wildest dreams. The florals and candles were overflowing with abundance and most importantly, her creativity stands out - the decor doesn’t look like your out of the box wedding.

Tara and the whole team at Mixed Company are just absolute MAGIC! I was lucky enough to work with them for a whole wedding weekend at The Wythe Hotel and 74 Wythe in Williamsburg and while I’ve worked with lots of other planners at both, they’re my new favorites. Not only is Tara an absolute joy in every regard, she anticipated not only the couple and wedding party’s needs, but also assisted all the other fellow vendors flawlessly. While the couple had been a little anxious leading up to the wedding, I’ve never seen a bride and groom so comfortable and relaxed - in huge part because of Mixed Company’s care, humor and attention to detail. Not only that, one of my favorite moments of the day was catching Tara be so engrossed in the ceremony herself that she shed a few tears - she genuinely cares for all of her clients! I am just keeping my fingers crossed that more of my couples book her ASAP.
