Megan Mesman Photography

Based in Portland, Oregon, Megan is a passionate photographer of engagements, elopements, and weddings of all sizes. As a nomad herself, her speciality is integrating nature, adventure, and stunning backdrops into her photos, and she has the ability to do this in even the most common of spaces. Her photography style is candid and documentary-like; transmuting raw and authentic emotion into every image. Wedding photography, to her, is about capturing real and beautiful moments in a way that tells a meaningful story.

Megan has been photographing for 15 years. Her early training was from Portland State University and then she moved on to Art Institute of Portland to learn more modern techniques. After studying, she traveled for seven years with her camera as her companion, seeking to capture unique parts of the universal human experience. When she discovered her love for wedding photography about four years ago, she traveled to shoot weddings in different parts of Alaska and California. And now, she finds herself shooting weddings full time in Oregon.
