We specialize in European-style wedding cakes, all occasion cakes, and pastries. We also make wedding cupcakes, mini cakes, French macaroons, mini cheesecakes, pies, cookies or any other desserts you could desire. Not only are they beautiful, but they taste great. All the cake batters, fillings, butter creams, are made in our bakery from premium ingredients; unsalted butter, heavy cream, fresh eggs, unbleached flour, Belgium chocolate, real vanilla extract, and fine liquors.

Marta worked as a pastry chef in Bond and Burkhart in Newton, MA; Sage's Market in Cambridge, MA; and The Catered Affairs in Hingham, MA.
She opened the bakery in Waterford in 1999.
In the summer we offer plain, almond, raspberry, ham and Swiss cheese croissants, sticky buns, and cinnamon raisin buns baked every morning. Highly demanded are our delicious fruit pies, Key Lime tarts, pound cakes, chocolate decadence, cheese cakes, wedding
and birthday cakes, and of course, cookies and bars.

We wanted a wedding cake that not only looked good but tasted good too which is exactly what we got from Marta. Our cake was a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling and white chocolate butter cream frosting.... drool...... Another vendor that was recommended by the Glen House, and backed up by other vendors who had worked with her in the past. We were not disappointed. Marta was extremely patient and responsive. Cake is the last thing that the guests get to eat, and we wanted to get it right. I found a cake design online-- very simple and clean. That was the easy part.Sent on 12/15/2011
Marta's selecion of cake and filling flavors are dizzying! So many to choose from, to mix and match. In the end, we decided on two tiers-- a dark chocolate cake w/ raspberry buttercream filling and vanilla cake with buttercream filling. We wanted our guests to have options. Marta threw my bridesmaid in charge of receiving vendors a curve ball when 3 cakes were delivered! The driver explained that Marta wanted to make sure we had more than enough cake. Amazing. It was a black cherry chocolate cake with buttercream frosting.
All three cakes were fantastic-- Moist, flavorful, and beautiful. The wedding cake photographed beautifully, and all of our guests were pleased with the selection.
