Loyola at Cuneo Mansion and Gardens is a historic wedding venue in Vernon Hills, Illinois, serving couples in the greater Chicago area. History
This 100-acre estate was constructed in 1916 as the home of Samuel Insull, the founder of the General Electric Company. The mansion was designed in the Italianate style and its gardens were designed by landscape architect Jens Jensen. John Cuneo Sr. bought the estate in 1937, and in 2009 the family's Cuneo Foundation passed the property on to Loyola University Chicago. The university has since renovated and maintained the mansion, grounds, and added fine art and furnishing collections to the estate houses.
