This venue designs custom decor and events while handling all the details from start to finish. Couples and their guests will enjoy traveling just one hour outside Chicago to this quaint and serene location. The venue is nestled in an eight-acre park with a pond, a creek, whispering willows, and antique bridges. With its picturesque scenery, this event space provides your special day with a vintage and romantic feel.
Facilities and Capacity
Storybook Gardens has three outdoor reception spaces on the property and a vast array of ceremony locations. The reception spaces include the Lower Garden, Cottage Pavilion, and the SBG Century Tent. You have the choice to use all three locations or just one. The venue accommodates weddings of up to 300 guests, and the spaces are flexible enough to be transformed to fit your guest list. Getting ready rooms are available for couples to use on-site, ensuring preparation on the big day is as seamless as possible. Storybook Gardens also has parking available and is wheelchair accessible.
Services Offered
You work directly with dedicated and talented staff at Storybook Gardens to design, create, and execute your special day. They use a formulated design process when planning your custom wedding. Couples have access to full planning packages, which include numerous services on-site. Services available are customized signage, floral arrangements, chandeliers, antique furniture, beverage services, event rentals and equipment, linens, and much more. The dedicated team at Storybook Gardens works hard to alleviate any stress that comes with planning a wedding. Over more than six years, the venue has hosted more than 200 weddings in their scenic location, with a staff that delights in helping you bring your wedding vision to life.

The convenient location of Storybook Gardens makes it easily accessible from Interstates 88 and 29 in addition to Highways 38, 64, and 251. For guests traveling to your wedding, they'll appreciate that O’Hare International Airport is only about 80 minutes away.
