I cannot say enough about this beautiful venue and the entire staff working here.
The property is amazing, with so many different spots to choose from for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.

Angie and her team are SO amazing and made the wedding planning process so easy and smooth for us. From answering any and every question, having different phone calls and meetings with us, to bringing our dream wedding to life!
We had our eye on this venue before we were even officially engaged, and we feel like the luckiest two brides in the entire world to have gotten married at this completely ethereal venue.
I would highly highly recommend this venue to any couple. The cost was very affordable, and there is SO much included for what you are paying for.
Our wedding day ran so smooth with nothing for us to stress about. Angie and her team are with you 100% of the big day, making sure everything goes exactly how it’s supposed to.
There’s so much I could say about this very special place. Storybook Gardens, Angie & Staff will hold such a big place in our hearts, forever and ever. 🩷

Wow, I cannot say enough wonderful things about Storybook Gardens. They made our wedding truly magical! Our wedding managers, Angie & Shawn, were so lovely to work with and they were just as excited about our wedding as we were! They made the process so easy and always got back to us quickly with any questions or concerns we had. They let us be as creative as we wanted in the theme/design process and they pulled it all together so beautifully. The grounds are already unbelievably gorgeous and somehow they made it even better than I had imagined! We had a fantasy themed wedding where all of our guests dressed up like it was the Renaissance Faire and the Storybook Gardens staff loved the idea so much that they dressed up too! They made our dreams come true and all of the staff, including the vendors we hired that they recommended, looked like they were having so much fun even though they were technically working. It gave the night an extra sparkle! They made everything run so smoothly and the event went on without a hitch. Our guests kept telling us all night that it was the best wedding they'd ever been to which I believe couldn't have been possible without Storybook Gardens. As someone with a lot of anxiety, the thing I loved most about them is how involved they were. They do so much of the design and set up for you that I felt so relaxed about the wedding leading up to the big day. We are so grateful to them for all of their help & I will be recommending them to anyone who is looking for an event venue in the future!

I have so much to say and I don't know where to start.

Jana (the owner) is the true definition of dedicated. We first met her in March/April of 2022 when we first toured the venue. It was our first and only venue tour before we booked the wedding. After meeting with her, I knew this was the place for me and my husband to get married at. The property, the details, the packages were all too good to be true. But, they were true. She was sweet, caring, and very understanding of us. We clicked, and we felt comfortable. We felt very at home. I couldn't have imagined getting married anywhere else.

Angie was our decor/coordinator/therapist/designer/bff during this whole process. Never in a million years did I want to have a biggish wedding because of all the stress of details/planning. Let me tell you something...Angie took it all off my shoulders. She took my Pinterest and designed my absolute dream. No no scratch that. It wasn't my dream. IT WAS BETTER! She dealt with some family drama and handled it with grace (and we couldn't be more thankful for that). We had so many compliments about how beautiful our center pieces and our floral was and that was all because of Angie. She calmed us down when we got stressed. She made sure special moments were built in for us. She just made our day so incredible. I would do it all over again and again and not ever change a single thing. That's how perfect it was.

If you're thinking of booking your wedding or party at Storybook Gardens, you will not regret it for a second. I never ever second guessed myself with any of this. I can't take the credit for anything, other than showing up on the day of.

We don’t know where to begin with how storybook gardens made our wedding a true fairytale. All of our expectations were exceeded. From the beginning of the overwhelming planning process, all the way through the I do’s, it was flawless. Jana, her husband Joe, Miranda, Audrey, and her staff were by our side every step of the way. We must mention that Jana was 7 plus months pregnant and that didn’t even deter her from making every moment perfect!!! Not only is the venue beautiful as is, but she made our vision come true. We imagined something simple with a travel theme, simply because of our passion to travel. This seemed difficult at first because we weren’t the average theme. We didn’t really know what we wanted. Jana and Miranda took note of every detail and made it happen! Our guests still talk about our venue and wedding to this day. Our wedding day was all that we imagined and much more. We started as friends and ended as family.

I cannot begin to explain how amazing, beautiful, and magical this venue AND it's entire team are. Our wedding was just this past weekend, 10/14/2017. Even though we were "blessed" by an insane thunderstorm, our big day was more beautiful than I could have EVER imagined. Jana, Natalie, and their entire team worked SO hard to make sure every second of our day was thought out and stunning. We ended up having to have our ceremony inside the tent and let me tell you, it was breathtaking. The reception was a blast, and their attention to detail really made our fairy tale come true. Every direction I looked, I felt surrounded by beauty and elegance based all on a vision that we created together.
When I first chose this venue, part of it was the property itself (it's stunning), but another part is the simple fact that I sat back and said to myself "Wow, I want to work with these incredible people." My husband and I are SO glad we made this choice! No venue will work harder for you, will make your day so special. I not only created a professional working relationship, I fostered a real friendship with these people, and that is unforgettable. They were ALWAYS there when I needed them, always prompt, and their positivity and energy made me feel like no matter what, things would work out.
Trust me, I lost sleep over my wedding forecast, knowing it was going to pour, but I didn't need to be worried. They had it. Storybook Gardens created such a magical day for us, that we will never forget a single moment. Jana and her team are truly creative visionaries, and it was an honor to see such passion in place.
I feel emotional writing this, because it's so cool to have people who care so much on your team, coming together to make your dreams come true. This venue is worth it, and you will have a beautiful wedding if you choose to come here, I know we did. Everything at Storybook was excellent. Stress free wedding! Jana and her team were wonderful. My daughter's wedding was magical. Our guests were amazed and thought the place was beautiful. Jana's recommendation of vendors was spot on. They were easy to work with and their work outstanding. Jana made everything seem easy and effortless. I cannot say enough good things about Storybook. I am a little sad that the wedding is over as I enjoyed working with Jana. Lovely place and lovely people!

I had my wedding at Storybook Gardens this past May. To say that my hubby and I were happy would be an understatement. From the very start Jana helped us in the direction we wanted to go. She came up with details and ideas that I never would have thought of. The weather when we got married was not what we would have expected. It was very cold for May and the tent was so warm and inviting that everything went exactly as promised. Jana is amazing! and so is Storybook Gardens. I think she needs her own wedding show, and I would be a life long fan.

I had my wedding at Storybook Gardens. It was such a beautiful place. It was tucked away in a private park but right next to all major highways. Very easy to get to and very private. The staff was great. Everything went very smooth from start to finish. Thank you Storybook you made me and my wife's day a perfect day!

I got married at Storybook Gardens and can NOT SAY ENOUGH about how amazing everything was! The venue is right out of a magazine. The staff went ABOVE and beyond for mine and my families expectations at all times. My Friends still say it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I was Shocked to see these reviews? Very strange indeed... All, I mean ALL, other sites list Storybook Gardens as a complete FIVE STAR venue. Almost insulting to see some bad comments written on here secretively. Suspicious. Wonderful place, wonderful people.

Choosing Storybook Gardens for our wedding venue was honestly one of the best decisions my husband and I have ever made. Jana and her team managed to give us the most beautiful wedding that we will never forget. All of our guests were so incredibly impressed by the venue we heard compliments all night long! This is truly one of the most incredible venues and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a rustic outdoor wedding outside Chicago. It truly was a perfect day!

Jana was pretty awesome. She had a great personality and was easy to talk to. We had a few design consultations. Everything went well.

Getting closer to the wedding communication was hard. Jana only responds to text and I am not a huge fan of that. But she always won me over when we would meet with her again. She is so attentive in person.
We had one final meeting and had issues with the pricing. She was charging us more than we were originally told. I found this to be shady.
We choose to have our rehearsal at the venue the night prior and everything went super well. Jana introduced herself and basically ran the show and I was happy about that.
The day of went relatively well. Jana and her team made sure we were all set. DH and I had spent about 2 days making escort cards and they were laid on and were a hot hot mess. I was so upset to see all my hard work looking like a child had destroyed it.
Overall I loved the décor that the team had done. The decor on the alter did not match our colors but in the big picture, it doesn’t matter, it had no impact to our day.

After the ceremony and before the reception, I asked Jana if I could run and see the inside of the tent cause I wanted to see all the awesome décor. She told me no. I was quite upset. I didn’t get to see the décor until the room was filled with 230 people.. I think I know why she didn’t let me in cause the escort cards were in such disarray. During cocktail hour, BIL came up to me to let me know that they were charging him for top shelf alcohol. I went ahead and told my mom and she talked to Jana about it and it got it taken care of.. The only other downside I saw was that the mixed drinks at the bar were pretty subpar.

The reception went well, the décor was amazing. Jana helped me get blood out of my dress. I really did love our wedding and our venue, I just think there are some things that need to be worked out.

Since I have a character limit I can't tell my entire story, but see Google or Facebook. The entire wedding was sloppy and careless. The shuttle driver (owner's husband) picked up a drunk friend who crashed our wedding. Drinks were VERY watered down. Owner is aloof and unresponsive. Bad mosquitos though they said they sprayed.
