Amanda Thesen is a hair and makeup artist recognized for her ability to create natural looks with a hint of glamor and an emphasis on beautiful skin. She developed her love of makeup and hair in school studying musical theater and quickly transitioned to a behind the scenes role when she moved to New York City. Amanda is now experienced in bridal, special events, television, fashion, film, and celebrity! She has worked with SELF Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Cosmo Latina, Dior, Aveeno, Olay, Havaianas, and Covergirl. She has been featured on New York's The Couch and New York Live. And Amanda has recently immersed herself back in the Broadway world doing hair and makeup for the stars of the stage. Her clients love her not only for her skill but for her calming presence and composed approach.

More than I could have ever expected :)
Amanda is an exceptional hair and makeup artist. Prior to booking Love Your Face, I had two less successful makeup trials. When I showed up to my engagement photos after a previous trial, my photographer took one look at my over-contoured face and said, “You need to hire Amanda.” She was so right. I booked my trial and was absolutely thrilled. She got exactly the look I was going for: beautiful glowy skin, long lashes and rosy lips. On my wedding day, we tweaked the look a bit, making the eyes a little more dramatic. I have never looked or felt more beautiful. She also did my sister’s (MOH) hair and makeup, and hair for two bridesmaids. They all looked gorgeous. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
