We are a Southern native husband and wife team. We met at a non profit community garden near Sanibel Island in 2011. Our romance blossomed over a shared love of working outside together. We have since spread our roots growing all over the beautiful East Coast.
We take an intentional approach to floristry, drawing inspiration not only from our gardens & nature, but also fashion, dance, music, travel & architecture.
Using our own love and passion as the driving force behind Loblolly, our mission is for our couples to enjoy their engagement just as much as their wedding day! We work with couples and families to promote healthy, loving and successful relationships and marriages through the planning and design of a wedding.
Nestled along the corridor of the Patuxent & Potomac Rivers in Southern Maryland, we cultivate over 50 species of flowers in over 100 different varieties on our two acre farm. We believe in slow, locally grown flowers, nurtured for their intrinsic qualities.
From the seeds sown in our gardens when the snow begins to melt, to the arrangements that adorn life’s most treasured moments, our flowers are filled with a connection that reaches deeper than that of their roots. Hard work, dedication and lots of love are embedded into each and every petal which further radiates into all the aspects of our designs. Our aesthetic reflects the rhythms of nature and the cycles of life we experience through the farm each day. We strive to emulate the fluidity of our environment and capture the essence of it's inherent sophistication. As farmers and florists we work in harmony with our surrounding landscape, stemming from a deep connection with nature and a passion for graceful artistry.

Courtney and Benny made my wedding look more beautiful than I ever imagined! Courtney worked with me to fully develop my vision within my budget. Her online portal made referring to my proposal and making payments convenient and easy. As the details of my wedding solidified, Courtney tastefully revised my proposal to incorporate the emerging theme of apples. She refined the color palette to include pops of red and amber to mirror the colors in my invitation suite and sourced napkins that helped elevate our table settings, complimented apple/farm theme while still looking fresh and modern.
While the visual proposal a great tool to help us communicate, Courtney’s designs were so much more breathtaking than any inspiration image. She combined the best elements from proposal with personal details that elevated our wedding beyond my expectations. She incorporated actual apples and branches from our own apple trees into her arrangements. My bouquet, tied together with flowing blush silk ribbons, was unbelievably beautiful. She even made a charming floral collar for my dog. The striking aisle arrangements and lush arbor full of roses made me feel like I was in a fairytale. I was so overwhelmed by how stunning the reception looked, I burst into tears! The impressive installation over the bar turned our standard tent into something special. The sophisticated floral arrangements looked outstanding set on the silk table runners and wood tables. Courtney and Benny went above and beyond to create spectacular head tablescape with luxury tablecloths dotted with delicate candles, topped with dramatic raised greenery arrangements.
In addition to the incredible flowers, Courtney coordinated my linen rentals, got quotes from tent rental companies, helped finalize my timeline, and styled the detail shots for my photographer. My wedding couldn’t have happened without Courtney and Benny’s unwavering dedication. Aside from doing a phenomenal job, they were a pleasure to work with!

Beautiful florals, great value
We had trouble finding a florist that didn't charge an arm and a leg AND want to do these huge, over the top arrangements. We saw Loblolly's work on Instagram, got their proposal, and loved what we saw! Courtney delivered our proposal on time, made all of our phone calls on time (not very common amongst vendors!), and even added some geometric candleholders I saw on their instagram at the last minute! Their arrangements were beautiful, my bouquet was gorgeous, and I really wished it didn't have to die.

I absolutely adore Loblolly Organic Farm.Sent on 06/16/2018
I worked with Courtney to design my dream florals for our wedding. I wanted something bright, vibrant, and matching our Mediterranean feel of the wedding, but that’s about all I knew! Courtney took time to look at our photographer’s work, our venue, and our style. She combined all of these elements into a beautiful proposal. I was in tears I was so happy. I knew Courtney had a beautiful eye for design after looking at the Loblolly Organic Farm website, but I truly had no idea until our wedding day.
Courtney and Ben dropped off our beautiful flowers at our getting ready location and worked with our photographer on styling details. Guys, details are everything and Courtney went above and beyond.
My bouquet was so gorgeous. She tied ribbons on the end to match the pops of pink and coral. The bridesmaid bouquets were the perfect size and also just as gorgeous. The boutonnière’s and corsages were delicate and perfect.
At our venue, we had a chevron wall for our ceremony. Courtney and Ben created this beautiful masterpiece draping over the wall. It was a huge and beautiful part of our ceremony. The centerpieces were out of this world and just so perfect.
I can’t say enough great things about this vendor team. I highly highly highly recommend Loblolly Organic Farm for your wedding. Thank you Courtney and Ben!!
